Having gone through a fair share of disappointing doctors with poor bedside manner, I finally found the type of care I was looking for at Austin Primary Care. The doctor in question I've been seeing, Dr. Sandra Ordonez really helped me put my health back on track for the last half year or so since I started seeing her. When I came into Austin Primary Care a few months ago I was suffering from an uncontrolled case of Type 2 Diabetes and going through a rough patch, and over the last few months she helped give me the tools and most of all encouragement to get my levels back to completely normal (As of today!). I couldn't be happier with the care that I got, the healthier lifestyle I'm embracing and I really appreciated the online portal that APCC uses to keep in touch with your doctor free of charge if you have any questions. I sincerely got the feeling that the doctors here actually cared about my well being, which is unfortunately a rare thing to find as of late. Horrible service. Last time I tried booking an appointment for my husband and they said earliest available is 4 months later. And mind you we are not new patients. Today I called in and the front desk lady disconnected my call 4 times. 4 times!!! And it's not that she couldn't hear me. She disconnected when I said I needed an appointment. They have specifically added in their introduction a friendly staff member will assist you... Now I know why they needed that. Their staff is anything but. Dr Agarwal is good but I have only been able to see him twice for annual check ups. Wish he worked somewhere else or they had better front desk operators. read more

Had to call several times to cancel their robo caller for an appointment I didn't need. I could read all I needed to know on the patient portal, no need to drag me in, charge my insurance and another co-pay. Charged $15 for a 10 minute Brief Emotional Assessment that I didn't need. I could have told you I'm doing fine. Charged my insurance $45 for an Alcohol Screening. "Do you drink alcohol? No." $45! This kind of predatory practice is why insurance is busted. read more

I had very bad experience. Schedule an appointment 4 weeks down as a new patient for my wife. Got call 30 min before appointment that the appointment is scheduled for 5 mins and thats not enough to see a new patient. Very unprofessional office. read more

I've been seeing Sandra for a while now. Shes a great doctor and a great listener. She's practical but also willing to help explore alternative medical options. She seems genuinely interested in my well being and my happiness. I'm grateful that I found her. I've always felt like a number or a dollar sign at doctors offices but not here. The office staff is small and they take on a huge volume of calls but they make it work. It's hard to get through on the phone sometimes but they have a patient portal online. You can schedule appointments there, view test results and even send your doctor a message. It's super helpful. read more

Dr. Arguwal has been my doctor for six years, he is great. He really cares about his patients. He is fast when it comes to responding after leaving a message. The front desk is slow at doing things, they keep you on hold forever when calling.However, I'm only there because of the treatment I receive from the doctor. read more

Dr. Agarwal is the best doctor my husband said he had. It's sad we had to move but we highly recommend him! He was attentive and listened to our concerns from my husband's previous physician. Our old physician was horrible. He didn't listen and insisted we didn't know what we were talking about about concerns over a certain medicine. Dr. Agarwal confimed the medicine was most likely causing some health issues with my husband. He's been super helpful and diagnosed issues we did not know my husband had. read more

Living in 3 states and dealing with doctors since breaking my back in 2002 I have had my share of good, bad, and ugly. I can honestly say Dr. agarwal and his staff are simply the best. The staff is always friendly and accommodating (my work schedule requires me to reschedule, and make last minute changes) and dr A, is one of the few today who takes the time to understand and truly cares about people. I would recommend him as a primary to anyone that wants to get to the bottom of the issues, and wants a doctor that does not treat them as just a number or person whos insurance they can wack and get you out the door. Doctor A and staff are definitely in a class by themselves. If you are looking for a PCP i would recommend them strongly. read more

I am extremely pleased with Dr. Agarwal and the entire staff at Austin Primary Care Physicians!! There was not a long wait for my initial visit to establish care since I was new to this area, and my first visit was complete in less than one hour. Dr. Agarwal was thorough in addressing all my health care needs and is exceptionally knowledgeable!! The staff greeted me with warm smiling faces that made me feel right at home. It felt like I had been going there for years!! Intelligent staff that knew their jobs well and had great communication among each other and back to me put my mind at ease in what most would consider a pretty stressful event. It was obvious to me that they took great pride in a job well done and being in the health care industry myself, I realize what a rare find this is; it is a true blessing!! I have already referred my children to Dr. Agarwal and Austin Primary Care Physicians, and I will continue to recommend them to all my family and friends!! Impossible to get in. We have been seeing Sandra Ordonez for over a year and it has been getting harder and harder to get any medical care from her. Had a rash on the buttocks and the appointment girl said she could give me an appointment in 3 weeks. Got into a specialist in less than a week. Recently, called because of a problem with my ear and was told I couldn't get in until March. It is January! Then she said, "Just go the the ER or an Urgent Care then." Rude! Uncaring! I found a specialist that I could see next week for my ear. I will find another primary care doctor who cares. All of the positive reviews are old or fake. read more

The staff and Dr. A are great. My Mom first used Dr. A as a resident of an independent living facility in Cedar Park. She recommended Austin Primary Care to me and I have been happy with the care received. After leaving CP I tried a few physicians closer to home but quickly realized the quality of care I received and changed back to Dr. A ASAP. I recently had to change doctors. Again. Usually, it is thanks to an insurance company issue. Regardless, Dr. Agarwal and his staff made the change a very pleasant experience. I have been in healthcare and worked closely with physicians for over 30 years. Call it intuition after just two visits, but I reallly like Dr. Agarwal. Today would have been my first appointment here. However, after arriving 11 minutes late I was told I would have to reschedule my appointment, and was offered something for next month. While I am all for policy and procedure, the lack of compassion and grace that was expressed by the front desk staff left an extremely bad taste in my mouth. I can only assume that the behavior demonstrated by the front office staff is a direct reflection of the doctors here at this practice. Having 3 special needs children I frequent doctors offices and have never been turned away for an appointment due to being late. I've always been worked in and or worked with on getting an appointment rescheduled for sooner than later. I also know that the appointment times are padded for instances exactly like this. Again, just to reiterate , I respect their rescheduling policy, it was the coldness and inconsiderateness that was displayed towards a new patient that will keep me from returning or recommending this practice to anyone else. read more
