A great friend of mine brought me here last month as I was about to leave to go back home, and she showed me some of the fidget toys she had bought for herself. I instantly had to have a few of them and fortunately, they had them in stock. There is something so amazing about picking up what you think you wish to purchase and be able to hold that item in your hand and the Toy Tree is one such place to have this connection. The young lady who helped us was amazing and super friendly and helpful. This has the feel of a store that has been in someone's family line for a long time, although this is not based on fact. What I can say is factual, is this is an amazing store for the young and young at heart.

If you like to collect manga and want to see a huge variety of selections, this is the place. I really like that they also have a selection of manga in Japanese! The art book aisle is awesome. It's hard to find art books in other bookstores, and even places like Barnes and Noble won't have a selection as varied as Kinokuniya. Despite the endless aisles of manga, I've surprisingly noticed that they're missing a few decently known manga. Unless I keep missing it, I've never seen The Case Study of Vanitas in their aisle, but they have the author's other work, Pandora Hearts, in there, for example. I would also say Kinokuniya is limited with their selection of anime goodies. I like that they're all very much authentic and different from your typical anime store selling pop figures and easy to find Bandai/Banpresto stuff, but their blind box selections are also becoming easy to find in other places because it's all the mainstream shows. Overall, if you're looking to expand your collection, this is the place to go.

The owner of this store sold my wife a new Tonies box that was just released. The owner blatantly lied, saying that she was the only store that carries the newer boxes. I don't know why a business owner would intentionally deceive customers, especially about something that was easily proven wrong. This is a great store. Lots of miniature games you can't find anywhere else at unbeatable prices. Moses, who runs the store, is great. He used to work at the GW in Frisco and boy does this guy know how to make customers happy. He's been in the hobby for years, and is very in-touch with all aspects of the products he sells. And he sells a lot of products--Moses even stocks Kromlech resin kits, which I never thought i'd see at a retail location in the States. -Great staff -discounted prices -excellent selection -purchases can be reserved without payment for an entire month!
