Service is fine when the employees finally show up. Opens 8am? Nah. But I'm glad the customers showed up early and on time

I was #9 in line, got there @4:11pm and was gone by 5:01. I had a great experience. In and out.

The staff here is super rude and slow, please don't waste your time here and go to another location that will actually help with the process without giving you a rude attitude and a hard time. The registration lady is the worse, so aggressive and mad for no reason, the guy for inspection is not that bad, just appears unhappy with his job. Definitely not coming back here. read more

I'm not one to complain about paying the service/convenience fees but this one gets me. I came last night at about 4:00 got my inspection next door and the line was out to the street for registration. I decided not to wait, they were opening at 0800 so I'd come back. I've sitting here at 10480 Culebra for 90 minutes waiting. You sign says opens at 0800 and it's now 0900. No one is here. No one is answering the phone at the site or corporate. Voice mail does not pick up at either number. The inspection site guys just closed the line because they could not get a hold of anyone. What is going on here? read more

As others have said, their customer service sucks. Mainly the lady at the window. She clearly hates her job. Rude, mad, aggressive. The going guy doing the inspections wasn't bad, they both seem to just dislike their job. Waited in line for about 1 1/2 hours for registration. They have 2 separate lines. You have to wait in line for inspection, then try to get into the second line for registration, which btw is out to the street, since they're so slow on the registration part. If I were them, I'd remove that "Review us on Yelp" sign on their window right next to the rude lady working the booth. read more

Paid $1400.00 in 2022 to get vehicle registered and the title never arrived... no heads up, nothing. Tried to buy sticker for renewal recently and, guess what theres some issue which was a mistake made by Texas tag on culebra. Husband has been trying to reach out to them for 2 weeks, and nothing. The lady working at the window was beyond rude!!!! She was down right mean! I've never had such a horrible experience in my life. I went ther to get stolen plates replaced and told her the situation. Basically she did not complete the transaction correctly and now I have to go the the main office on Monday, and yes I will also report her anger issues towards me. I think this is my 4th visit here in a couple of years...never had any trouble getting a vehicle inspected. The process is roughly 10 minutes (maybe less) for a safety inspection. The hardest part is timing it when the line is short (NOT Monday morning). There is also a drive thru office to get your registration done. read more

I'd give negative stars if I could. Don't waste your time! I arrived at 3:30p.m. and waited in line for an hour and forty-five minutes. When I finally got to the front the attendant told me they stop doing titles after 4:15p.m. I asked her how I was supposed to know that since it's not posted anywhere on their website (or elsewhere on the exterior of the building for that matter) and she pointed to a piece of paper taped to the window... which is only visible once you make it to the front of the line. Please don't waste your time by waiting in this god forsaken line. They make the DMV look like a well oiled machine. Pathetic excuse for privatization of government services. I paid $20.00 for an inspection that I learned should have cost 7.00. The attendant could not tell me what all the fees were for. At first I was only given my inspection paperwork. I went back and asked for a receipt for the 20.00 that I paid that was cash. He had no issues with giving it to me. I again asked about all the fees and he said it was for the hand sanitizer and supplies that are needed in the office due to Covid and THEN he told me about the OIS fee/program once I said I will call corporate and find out what all the fees were about. He also gave me no information on the program itself. I emailed corporate and am waiting for a reply. Something seems fishy here! I hate a scammer. I'm new to the area and will find somewhere else next time no matter how fast they are. read more

Thought I'd go here for the convenience of inspection and registration at one place. $20 ($7 for inspection, $6.50 OIS, $6.50 shop fee) when EVERYONE else charges $7. When trying to register the vehicle that is under my ex wife who is currently stationed overseas, I've registered this vehicle before for her, and I have the power of attorney, the lady in the booth quickly refused and said I need to go to the tax office. I've been in the vehicle at this same location when someone registered a vehicle not under their name with no issue. Absolute worse pricing and service. read more

My son stated his wait time was minimal and the inspection went well. When he showed me his receipt, I voiced my concerns because he paid $20 for a $7 service. In addition, he was given a $2.00 coupon to use a registration service that does not appear to be a secure website. Been going here for three years with no issues. Today went in for a normal inspection as I do every year. The attendant told me my tint was too dark. He has checked that same tint every year with no issues (they are legal as well). Dispute the issue he tells me to remove the tint to pass. Lets not talk about the hidden fees either read more

The inspection is always pretty fast and efficient but if you need your registration, be prepared to wait and to pay hidden fees. My husband and I have had the same attendant (a lady) three times and it always go by soo slow. I tried to take a peak inside the office to see if she was using a stone and chisel to document everything but no, apparently that's how long it takes to use current technology. It also doesn't help that there is no sense of urgency or friendliness at the registration window. We had a 2.00 off coupon this time and so our receipt today read 77.50 + 17 - Discount 2.00 and ended up being $97.50... which of course doesn't add up. When we called corporate they said it sounds like we got charged a credit card fee. 1. A $5 credit card fee is pretty steep and 2. I'm sure we would have paid for it if we were given the option to after waiting 45 minutes but it would have been nice to know. 3. I want to emphasize that we waited a minimum of 45 minutes to get our registration and there was only one car ahead of us. Corporate said they would call us back but never did. It kind of hurts me to write this one. I met the owner this morning at a different location and ran in to her as I arrived to get my registration done. She could not have been nicer! But... I had no clue about the "convenience" fee prior to arrival. I had my daughter with me, so not having to get her out of the car seemed like it would be a great thing, but I ended up waiting in line for over an hour and a half! And there were only 3 cars in front of me! The woman at the window was not friendly in the least. By the time I left, I had pretty much vowed to never return. It's worth the $2 coupon that they give you to not have to sit in your car for that long or deal with that woman. (Seriously though. I could have driven to Austin in the same amount of time!) When somebody told me about this place I was excited to get everything done in one stop. I probably would have been better off at the county office. On the first trip, they told me they didn't have anymore of the forms to do an out of state inspection. I had the inspection done elsewhere and returned here today only to be told that they wouldn't complete my registration because the other place left my name blank on the form. Convenience comes with a price. Bexar county raised our renewal registration $10 this last year, so it's roughly $75 - these guys charge a $17 convenience fee, so now you're spending $92 roughly. All businesses must make money, I understand: but for me it's the tax office. Good thing though, it's one stop for it all. I did get my inspection done, but did decline paying the $17/fee for my renewal - call me cheap...but I'm off to the Tax office now. In a hurry? Don't wanna get out of your car? Have money to burn?...then these are your guys! I was also irritated I was quoted a $13/fee over the phone, simply to arrive and try to have a little more squeezed out! read more
