Time to renew those plates don'cha know?! Walked in, no…read morewaiting for a ticket to be seen. Got my ticket & called up to window 13. Knew it was a good day then! *fav number & all. The young lady was just returning from lunch. Again, good timing. Everyone is happy with a full belly. Handed her my paperwork & asked if I could get a placard to have when I ride with others. She stated my "plates" were coming up as temporary. (Which is not possible, they do not issue PLATES as temporary, only the red placard.) I showed her my proof that my disability is permanent. She gave me my sticker. I went to my car, pulled out the paperwork from last year, & lo & behold I had renewed 8n thr exaxt date a year before. Too funny. Well, it also had my orthopedic surgeon's medical information on my permanent disability. I marched right back in; again no waiting. I was merely informed to go see the same lady. I did. The guy she was assisting Was having issues with his handicapped plates as well. About 30 minutes after I sat down, she was ready for me. She called her supervisor over, showed my permanent paperwork. He disappeared with my paperwork. She vanished, then came back with a blue placard for me, & apologized for the error. I told her no harm, no foul. It happens. Absolutely excellent customer service at this location, & that's why I only go to this location. The young lady that worked at window #13 on the afternoon of 11 June 2021 is a fantastic employee. She never huffed, rolled her eyes, or became frustrated. She handled everything the incorrect system handed her with ease & grace. Great location.

Until it wasn't…read more They said everything was fine, sent my husband back to work, went to hand me the plates, then decided they had the wrong plates and I have to wait an hour to 90 minutes for them to go pick up plates. I asked FIVE DIFFERENT TIMES if there was anywhere for my kids to sit bc they were with me-remember they sent my husband back to work 30 minutes prior bc "everything is fine, we're just getting the plates ready". The ladies said no five different times and then copt an attitude and smarted off tha I was causing a problem and that I was teams yes no yes no. I NEVER answered so there was no yes-no at all. I asked if I could have the old plates so I could go to the county tax office and get the plates. No. Can I drive without getting arrested to get them without the plates. No. Can I sit inside. No. Then she starts lying to my face and saying she never told me no when she just did 5 times. She cost the dealer a sale because she was being aggressive, argumentative, and pushy. I DESPISE being rushed through a process to hide someone else's incompetencies and that is 100% what was being done all around. I would absolutely never recommend this location for any title and registration needs at any point in the future. Just go to the county. You'll still wait, and you'll probably still have bored salty employees but at least you'll leave with your paperwork and title and plates.
