My initial call yesterday was productive. Had my phone ready for the call appointment today but it went straight to voicemail. I called back immediately but she didn't leave her extension. I was on hold for 17 minutes. She tried calling back and I tried to take the call but it was hung up. I stayed on hold for another 14 minutes and thought I'd try a different extension and now I've been on hold over 50 minutes. You do pay for the convenience, however it was worth every penny of that $40 to be able to sit in my truck and not have to pay for parking and wait in line. read more

Miriam was professional and chipper when I rolled up in my F150 on a blazingly hot afternoon. I can't imagine one can maintain their composure very well toasting inside a little shack of a building, but maybe she's got great A/C in there? Texas Tag & Title is conveniently next door to a Texas Inspection Station which makes it the convenient, if not cheapest, alternative to registering your vehicle at the tax office. I stopped by and although she was not able to register my vehicle because of a problem on the DMV's end regarding my title status, she was able to put me in touch with someone who could take care of it for me. I probably wouldn't be back unless I had money to burn. I don't mind the DMV, but I can see the appeal so I'm giving them Five Stars. read more

READ!!!!!! before they up charge you, for services you can get cheaper. they will charge you 126 to just set up an appointment !!!!. when you can instead go to schertz substation office for FREE appointment and only pay for what documents you need. but if you go to them expect to pay the 126 plus the documents you need which could equal to 200+. or you go can go to schertz substation office and pay less than 100. And you if you try to get a hold of the supervisor you wont!!. read more

I can't believe it's rated a 2.0 I've been coming here for years and I have never had a problem with anything or anyone. I came to Texas Tag & Title with a very complex situation involving a car I purchased and then sold. Unfortunately I did not get the name of the woman that helped me but I cannot sing her praises enough. She was so patient with my very complicated situation. She made sure to call who she needed to in order to be able to help me in the best way possible. I'm sure the people in the line behind me weren't very happy because it took a really long time to get everything figured out but I was so grateful for the lady who went out of her way to help me get my title switched over. Like a few of you, I showed up one day for my inspection and to get my new tag, but that day the inspector was not in. Came back the next day for round 2. Everything was open and I was first in line. Inspection took about 7 minutes. The guy provided good service,but he failed me for a slight tear in my windshield wipers. Choose to buy theirs because I was not coming back for a reinspection. $18 for inspection and $30 for wipers ($48 total) Inspection complete. Drove around to the registration side to get my sticker and noticed the "we are a private business and below are our fees" sign. Oh well....I'm already here. The girl was nice and fast. Out of there in 5 mins. 7.50 mandatory Texas fee, Thier $15 registration fee, and a $1.50 card fee ($23.50) D-U-N. Done! No issues with the overall customer service side, but I'm not paying the additional fees again read more

I came here for an inspection . The employee walked up to my car and immediately started raising his voice at me saying " I don't know what you want, you are parked between both lanes." I apologized and said I had never been there before and I didn't realize I was in two lanes but I would like to get an inspection done. Continuing to raise his voice at me he says " well we don't even do inspections while it's raining so I don't know why you are here." AGAIN I'm trying to apologize to this guy and he cuts me off and says do you have your insurance!?! I GUESS I'll do it since you have it." Then storms off . I went there today and waited while 6 cars ahead of me were inspected..when I pull up the man states that the internet was down and he could not do my inspection, I drive away, go home, and call before I return..you know, to make sure the Internet is up and running. When I went there was a moron doing inspection and after I was in line for a while he finally came up to me and told me that he would not inspection my truck because I had a office desk in the back of my truck. This place took well over an hour to inspect 5 cars. The person inspecting was opening trunks and inspecting things that I've never seen inspected in other vehicles. I only came here because the local place I went to closed down so I came to the nearest one from there. In the past I've gone where the line was long and did not experience nearly the same kind of wait time. Slow and inconvenient. Hey Native Texans, this system is beyond unnecessary and inconvenient. This is the most unprofessionally run business I have ever dealt with. I went there this morning to get my registration renewed. The website and sign says they open at 8:30 but when I got there at 9:20 it wasn't open. I have often recommended this place because it's fast and easy; however I have several friends experience the same thing as me. I called the number for their corporate office and spoke to Jackie. She told me there were a lot of accidents on the road that morning due to rain. I was a little annoyed so I told her that everyone else has to wake up earlier when there's rain so they can make it work on time and I didn't understand how it's acceptable. I then started to ask if I could file a formal complaint and in the middle of me asking that Jackie hung up on me. When I called her back and asked her why she hung up on me she informed me that she had other phones to answer and there wasn't any point talking to me because there was nothing she could do. So I asked to speak to her manager and she took my info and told me Stacy (the manager) would be calling me later. Well, I just got off the phone with a very rude Stacy who seemed to be annoyed that she had to talk to me. She offered me a very dry apology. She told me there was a lot of accidents on 1604 that morning. When I explained to her that isn't the first time this has happened she seemed to not care at all. She also did not really care at all that one of her employees hung up on a potential customer. She made excuses by saying that I might have paused and Jackie thought I was done or that Jackie said she heard me say "ok thanks!" So she assumed the call was over. None of that happened and when I told her that she seemed to not believe me! She was completely unsympathetic to the horrible treatment I received. She constantly interrupted me. She even told me that Jackie told her I said I was going to Tisdale (another registration place), like since I didn't do business there it was ok how I was spoken to. This business is poorly run and customer service is absolutely disgusting. Do not ever go there! Tisdale is very professional and all the women that work in there are so nice. Go to Tisdale! read more
