Service requested was for them to clear tree branches away from our pool, they also were going to other services but the main thing was cutting the branches around our pool. I was on a call when I did the walk thru with the manager on site, so I was rushing and didn't notice the trees by the pool were not cut. I called to let them know that trees around the pool were not done. And I was blamed for it not being done because I didn't see it when we did the walk through. The management went to telling me how much money 200.00 dollars it was going to cost him to get workers back out. I am still waiting for a call back to be scheduled for our job we paid for to be finished. Very disappointed with service I received. Below is the estimate of everything that was supposed to be done. Back yard: Oak trees, deadwood removal, sucker reduction, canopy lift, pool clearance, Front yard: oak tree shape. $1350 labor $111 tax $1461 total $500 deposit Balance due upon completion. Overall they did a good job. My husband had to FaceTime to see if the tree was cleared out enough. I had to be the one to point out areas that still looked really thick, had to ask about taking a large branch off. I would have thought them being the professional would look and know what to cut as they were on the pricy side for one hour of work. The positive side was they do haul off what they trim. Otherwise glad the trim is cleaned up and hoping it helps it. read more

We are very happy with the tree service Greg, Esteban and his crew gave. Our yard was a mess when we moved in from overgrown trees, dead limbs, dead trees and limbs on our oak trees. We were concerned about how much it was going to cost us to get it done, but the price Greg gave us was a happy surprise. They came out within 3 days and completely transformed the yard, both front and back, into a beautiful space. We didn't even know how big the back yard was due to the overgrowth. This company has been harassing me. I don't live in Texas. I don't know how they got my number. They text up to 10 times a day. They call several times per week. Once at 2am! It's been a nightmare. I was promised to get three trees removed and the remaining trees trimmed and removed of dead branches. When I received actual invoice, it only listed one tree for removal and trimming of oaks trees; although I have oak and cedar trees. I sent two reply messages to the owner asking that he update the invoice to lists all work he informed he would complete during his site visit--never got a response. After not getting a reply from the first messsage, I sent a second message informing the owner I wanted to postpone work until my return from a trip. The owner didn't reply to either messages. The next morning I received a call from his team indicating they were on their way to get started..I am informed them not to come because I had not finalized a contract deal (no updated invoice). Right away, I received a call from the owner asking why I informed his crew to not come to do the work. I kindly informed him that I never heard back from him regarding the invoice being updated and that I decided to postpone the work and that's why I never forwarded the required deposit. After explaining to the owner my decision to postpone he seem to got a bit "heated" so I decided to let him know I may just go with antoher company--which at that point he hung up on me abruptly. So not sure why he still sent a team out seeing we never finalized a contractual agreement and I never met the deposit requirement. My deposit was contingent on receipt of an updated invoice (price based on all promised work, as invoice received had expected price but only a portion of the work promised during site visit). read more

Esteban and his team did a really great job with 3 trees in my front yards. My trees are fairly young about 8 years old. The trees have grown out so much it has become a little overwhelming to look at. I contacted Texas Sun Tree Services and Esteban came out the next day to give me an estimate on the trees. We got in contact with Esteban after we moved into our home. Last year, a branch from the tree in front of our home fell onto the roof and caused damage. The roof was repaired but the tree wasn't dealt with. Also, the inspector found that we had a bush too close to our main service panel. I have a big Mesquite tree in my backyard. All the branches died after the big snow storm in February and they don't grow back and free up room for the new branches to grow. So I needed to prune all the dead branches, which is a lot. Esteban responded quickly after I requested a quote. He was able to give me a rough range from the picture I provided, which is the most competitive among the few others I got. He was also able to come take a look on the same day to give me the final quote. He was kept me posted on his itinerary and actually arrived a few mins early. Texas Sun came right away when a tree lost a huge branch. They gave the best quote of 3 different companies and came the next business day to trim 2 very large overgrown trees. They took off dead sections and cut off a lot of weight from the healthy parts so that no more branches would fall. I found Native Texas Tree Service on Yelp of course and we met with Esteban Rodriguez. I work for a property management group and we needed some very large trees cut down on one of the properties we manage. Leon took on a pretty scary job with my 40 foot palm tree that was leaning dangerously toward my house. It was so heavy from dead branches that it became very topheavy.
