I was on a call when I did the walk thru with the manager on site, so I was rushing and didn't notice the trees by the pool were not cut. I called to let them know that trees around the pool were not done. And I was blamed for it not being done because I didn't see it when we did the walk through. The management went to telling me how much money 200.00 dollars it was going to cost him to get workers back out. I am still waiting for a call back to be scheduled for our job we paid for to be finished. Very disappointed with service I received. Below is the estimate of everything that was supposed to be done. In fact, they far exceeded my expectations so much so that I hired them to do additional tree trimming on some other trees. These are the best tree trimmers I've ever hired. Before starting the job, I wanted proof of their insurance and was provided the proof so they are indeed insured. My neighbor, who never hires anyone to cut his many trees, was so impressed with their work that he actually hired Jo'Se Tree Trimming to cut down one of his Ash trees as they were finishing their job with us. We wanted everything hauled away which was part of the estimate and the workers did that and, thoroughly raked the ground to pick up all debris. Everything was very neat and professional. All the workers on site were very respectful and put together as well. We paid with card which added a normal 3.99% fee to process but, if you use Zelle like my neighbor did, there isn't a card processing fee. I requested an emailed receipt which I also received. You can tell these guys were Family owned and operated by the amazing quality of their work. According to one of their guys who worked on my yard, they have almost 20 guys and a handful of trucks in total and spread out their coverage across the greater San Antonio area. They break the city up into Zones and cover different zones on different days of the week. These guys were phenomenal from the start. I used Yelp's request quote function on US Lawns Yelp page. One of the coordinators/managers (Tim) responded within an hour enquiring to a time he could come out and walk the yard to give me an accurate quote. Tim was extremely professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Tim squeezed me into their schedule to ensure he could assist me as fast as possible. As we walked the yard he explained to me the important tidbits about different types of grass, weed treatments and things I needed to do with my large trees. HERE's A HUMOR BREAK... Tim also explained to me what plants in my garden were "Opportunity Trees." I thought they were tree trees... And by what Tim was saying, I thought maybe they were good luck trees that were going to bring me money and good fortune...Nope... They were weeds that I let go so long... they became trees... ... .... .....done laughing at me yet? BACK TO THE REVIEW... Initially, I was told it may take a week for his guys to be able to come out. Keep in mind, their schedule is driven not only by demand but the weather. Rain will put a damper on lawn maintenance. On that note, rather than having to wait a week, they came out the next morning! Awesome!! There were 3 guys initially and then 2 after lunch. I don't know how they do it in that heat. The team that was sent out were experts in their craft, extremely meticulous, and very friendly. They answered all of my random questions about yard maintaining with a smile. At one point they were on their hands and knees picking weeds out of the cracks in my driveway! While we did not use the service, US Lawns also provides landscaping and can install irrigation systems. If their quality of work is anything like they did for me today; it will be superb. PRICE! COST! VALUE!: I am guessing experiences will vary and I do not want to get into exact numbers because I have no idea what they would charge in different situations. But for what I received and the amount of work these guys did, the price was EXTREMELY reasonable, if not a steal. My end result: (See pictures) a clean, crisp yard that looks like someone actually loves it. If you are in the need of lawn maintenance and are not sure who to hit up, I would give US Lawns a try.
