Came here to check out some of their programs and meet their instructors & students and tour the facility and was VERY impressed. Texas State Technical College is not the most glamerous of college campuses but they mean business here and their education and career readiness is right up their with anyone's. What is NOT up their with everyone elses is their cost of tuition. You can get a great education here without feeling like you are going into a debt vortex from which you may never recover from. Their educational prices, especially in relation to income earning potential seem to make this school a great choice for many budgets. I was especially impressed with with their Automotive Technology and Collision programs. Their instructors are former industry and their curriculum was impressive. In addition to general programs, they offer manufacturer programs like Lexus/Toyota, General Motors, and Chrysler. If you are considering schools, don't heitate to check this institution out!

Good school, has a great placement rate. You're almost sure to be making a lot of money right out of school.

Baylor University is a very nice campus to visit. The Mayborn Museum and Texas Sports Hall of Fame…read moreare located here. One of the few campuses where located next to a river while McLane Stadium makes this campus stand out while driving on I-35. After our visit of the Mayborn Museum we ventured off to find the bear pen. After following directions we found it and parked in front. Here we saw Joy & Lady relaxing in the Bill & Eva Williams Bear Habitat. One was sleeping but the other walked around and drank water. They originated from Oregon and are medium sized brown bears. There are signs to not bring pets here. From here you can walk to campus centerpiece Rosenbalm Fountain and circle around to enjoy his beautiful campus. Back at bear habitat you can walk along Waco Creek below. Before leaving made sure to see and take photos of Pat Neff Hall with its magnificent colonial architecture.

I eventually found a job in Dallas, TX but the degree and thousands of dollars spent has not helped me in any way and probably hindered me due to Corrupt Social Circles and Illegal Drugs, fake jobs, scammers, blacklisting and Illegal Employers in the USA, except for the ones who hired me. A degree from Baylor has left me with no retirement and no friends in the South and no jobs exept cleaning jobs which do not require a college degree on any special skills. Amazing...simply awesome! Been wanting to visit for quite some time and only now was able to do…read moreso. After walking around for about half an hour, I was informed about a tour starting at 10 a.m. Of course I couldn't pass that up. Rachel, the tour guide, was very knowledgeable and friendly. Her passion for the library and the Brownings showed through the information she gave. Lots of positive energy! In addition to the collection and ambiance/architecture of the library, the grounds are worth checking out. I will have to come visit again in order to really soak in all that the place has to offer. Please don't wait as long as I have to visit.

"How do I love thee? Let me count the ways." OK-I'm not…read morereally going to count the ways I love the library, but I figured most people would recognize that quote. It's not Shakespeare; it's Elizabeth Barrett Browning. This library/museum includes a wide array of artwork, personal effects, and manuscripts by Robert Browning and his wife Elizabeth. If you're a scholar of Victorian poetry, researching here would be a dream come true. Even if you're not a fan of Victorian poetry, the Armstrong Browning Library is worth a visit. The beautiful building, which frequently hosts weddings and special events, contains the largest collection of secular stained glass in the world. You might also enjoy the unique and fascinating architectural details throughout the interior of the building. If pottery or porcelain is your thing, check out the Wedgwood and pottery collections, too. Upstairs, the curators have recreated the Browning's home, complete with their authentic furniture and decor. If you ever wondered about life in the mid-1800s, this could give you a pretty accurate picture of it. Admission is free, so check this place out next time you're in the heart of Texas!
