Just finished our 2nd class with Brian and have another scheduled this week and looking forward to it. You can't go wrong here. Brian is so incredibly personable, knowledgeable and PATIENT that the time just flies and you're having a blast (no pun intended). It's fun and Brian is fun and interesting! Our main focus is on home defense and personal protection, but for me personally, it's looking like a new hobby and my wife is encouraging it! (yay!). As a novice gun owner, I wanted to gain some shooting experience on an outdoor range with a well-informed instructor. Brian was the perfect choice. First, he laid a clear foundation by allowing me to see his collection of historical guns. Then he asked me many questions, in order to determine what my actual needs would be in personal and home defense. Brian had brought along several different models of present-day handguns for me to safety check before giving me the opportunity to try each of them out on the target range. This gave me a much better idea of what I should purchase for my own use. Not only is Brian very knowledgeable about firearms, but he makes his lessons fun. The training met the goals we had as a family in regards to handgun handling and safety. We were novices and Brian focused on the basics, allowing us to be confident that a handgun, when treated with respect, can be a safe, fun and effective tool. Our only regret is that we didn't get to shoot more during the 4-hour session, but we appreciated the opportunity to shoot a variety of handguns. My wife had never fired a gun before in her life. I set up a personalized training session with Brian and it was perfect. He spent a lot of time going over not just firearms but ammunition a brief history and also familiarization with numerous types of firearms. I cannot say enough about his professionalism and how patient and courteous. His ability to instruct was fantastic and concise. Once we were at the range shooting he followed all standard safety precautions and at the end my wife was much more comfortable with firearms and is wanting to get more involved into shooting. read more

Brian is an excellent instructor with an amazing amount of patience!!! I learned so much. Never handled a firearm before and was a bit apprehensive when I first got to the class. After having so much patience and being very detailed in explaining the basics on how to handle a gun, how to use it safely , how to load and unload, the proper stance and many more other things that are needed to know when you own a firearm, I left the class feeling much more confident that I now have the knowledge to safely handle a firearm. Brain is a very nice instructor. I booked intro to gun class online. And he went over the tradition of guns, different caliber handguns and how the majority parts on them work. He is also very knowledgeable about the safety and rules about gun and the related stuffs. At the end of class he let me shoot different hand guns with .22,.38,9mm calibers and a shotgun. I would recommend him as your gun trainer. I feel I learned enough to operate a gun now. I would consider to book another class sometime soon. read more

Great training! Started by learning about firearms, their parts, how they work, and how they changed over time. Then we went over the core safety rules for handling and firing a firearm and by the end of our four hour session we went from never have fired a gun to being comfortable with handling and firing handguns and even a shotgun safely! I highly recommend this training for anyone with little to no experience that wants to learn how to use firearms safely and confidently. read more

Brian is an expert instructor. Personable and relatable. His presentation of introductory material thru through delivery in my training module was thorough and well paced. His instruction starts at where you are experience wise with achievable goals to progress for the next level. This class was so informative and I really learned so much more about guns and gun safety. I took it as a beginner so that I could learn proper gun handling techniques. I would recommend to new gun owners, people thinking of buying a gun and for seasoned gun owners. I was scared and nervous about my gun and now I have more confidence in handling it.
