Check your receipt. I was not given a receipt at the time of my appointment, but was told it would be emailed to me. Receipt never came. I showed up several weeks later and after a little hassle finally received my receipt. There were multiple discrepancies between what I was charged and what was billed to Insurance. After calling the TSO billing department it was determined I was over charged by more than $300. My family will never go to this location again. read more

So im very Blinda d can only really see shapes. Im 20 years old and ive never been to an Eye Doctor ive always been scared. This Office made me Feel so safe and relaxed. The doctor is incredibly lovely, does fine work, but one of the assistants is really pushy when it comes time to choose your frames. I asked her to help me find a cheap pair and she kept giving me expensive designer ones. When discussing the glare reduction/shading option she kept trying to sell it even after I said no multiple times. I went home with a pair that was more expensive than I wanted and I blamed myself but after talking to a friend who also had been here they claimed that the same woman did it to them, too. So my advice is if you go here just get the eye exam and buy your glasses online. read more

My first time coming here and I received Great customer service from the staff! The doctor was very professional, thorough in explaining my exam and efficient! I like that he was friendly and didn't go through the exam too fast. They also had a great special for buying frames! This was by far the best eye exam experience I've ever had. The team was so nice and thoroughly explained every step, insurance coverage and costs. The staff was super friendly and eager to help. Their technology is also very updated and advanced. I went for my annual check up and contact lens fitting. We went from a bad experience at the willowbrook location and so wished we had started off here first... Dr. Woolverton is awesome. He took the time out to answer questions, and never did he make us feel rushed. My sister greatly appreciated the time and effort that was shown. We greatly appreciated the compassion, energy and most of all the care that we received. We live on 1960 and i would be willing to drive an extra 30 minutes to this office just because Dr. Woolverton is a great optometrist. Thank you! You have a lifetime patient! read more

No problems with the doctor here, but the staff is another matter!!!! My husband ordered bi-focals here. When they Finally came in, the tech had measured wrong! Re-ordered. Waited weeks again. When hubby was finally ok with that pair, I brought in his second pair to just have the lens replaced. When I dropped them off, they said it'd be 45 minutes, so I said I'd be back the next day. The next day they said their machine wasn't working so they had to take them to their other office and would call me the next day. It's been a week with no call!!! I need glasses myself, and might go to this doctor. Wouldn't get glasses here, though, if they were free - it wouldn't be worth the aggravation!! read more

Love this location. I've been coming here for three years. Dr. Woolverton did an awesome job at explaining the pictures of my eyes and even showed me an eye with diabetes damage. My dad had diabetes for a while and didn't know it. I'm worried there is damage and I'm convinced to get him to the Dr. The rest of the staff was helpful and answered my questions. My husband and I have been coming here for years. Dr. Wolverton was great as usual. We had very special wants for glasses this year, though, and struggled with what we wanted versus what our insurance would cover. Steve stopped making glasses to come help us work it out. He helped us maximize our benefits, choose glasses that met our needs, and was kind and honest about how the options looked on us. And, he fixed a pair we bought a couple years ago. I was in Texas for a wedding. My son's contact ripped. I called my optometrist in Memphis, TN and had his prescription faxed to me. I walked into TSO, told the receptionist my problem and she immediately went to the back and started looking for his contacts. They did not have the exact ones he wore, but she had daily lens in the right prescription. When I asked how much I owed her, she said "Nothing, welcome to Texas and enjoy your niece's wedding!" As a dentist and business owner, I often treat patients for Emergency visits for the same reason, knowing I won't see them again. But I want them to have a good view of Memphis and how Southerners treat people. This kind of customer care is so rare these days. If I lived in Texas, I wouldn't go anywhere but TSO for my family's eye care. read more

He's always very kind, seems genuinely happy to see me, and answers my questions in detail. He helps me understand why and how things work with my eyes. I appreciate him. Also enjoy his staff. THE WORST. The Optomitrist and the lady who measured me for the glasses were great----HOWEVER, the customer service from the rest of the staff is a nightmare. I took a half day off work to come and get my glasses when they called me to say they were in. I work very far from this location, as it is close to my house. So, I get there and they mistakened my free pair of readers as my glasses. No apology, nothing. So, then I wait over 2 weeks---no call for my glasses. I decide to call myself-they are in. I asked them why they didn't call---nothing. So, I go the second time, let them know how unhappy I was with the last visit---nothing. Once again-no apologies, nothing. Just a blank stare. So, they bring me my glasses AND IT WAS THE WRONG FRAMES!!! So, I had to leave AGAIN without my glasses. Once again, I wait a week or two---call them myself, as I have not heard from them. My glasses are in. They give them to me, no covers, nothing. I leave---only to find out later that day that BOTH sides are wobbly and loose. So, I have to take yet ANOTHER trip to this location to fix the glasses. I DO NOT recommend this location. The optomistrist is great, but get your glasses elsewhere. They could not care less that they disserviced or inconvenienced you. read more

Worst optometry experience ever. Made 1st and only visit in 2013. Bought 4 pair of glasses - mains, 2-sunglasses, and safety. All prescription. When I went to pick them up - received zero help from the attendant. Felt like I had walked into a grocery store instead of having just spent $1000's. No fitting, nothing. Turned out prescription was off - so I've resorted to wearing my older glasses ever since. I do wear the safeties in the garage - but they just broke (frames only). Asked my wife to go order a replacement pair. I wasn't seeking warranty - just a new frame I was willing to pay for. Optometrist refused. Insisted I have a new eye exam. Remember - I didn't want new lenses, just to PURCHASE a replacement for the frames. No. Fortunately I found the frames on line and bought a new one. $68 - which is exactly what I purchased in 2013 for MUCH more money at TSO. Lost my whole family's business for life. read more
