Mann , everything about my experience at my visit was perfect! Dr. Binder was very thorough and went over everything with me from my exam to the overall experience was so much better than what I have come across at other Eye Center Places (I'll leave out there name). I have a dry eye issue and the medication that was prescribed to me at another Eye Center is not what I needed after Dr. Binder explained to me about dry eye vs. inflammation of the eye. He suggested that I give iVIZIA a try and see if it makes a difference and if it does that's great and if it doesn't I can come back and we'll discuss the next steps. I just really appreciate his honesty and him not wanting to slap a band-aid on it and send me off. He's very professional, patient, kind, honest and efficient and I'm just glad that I found Mann Eye Institute and a great Eye Doctor! I would highly recommend them for all of your eye care needs! The staff is very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable and Nikki could do her job blind folded! I mean that in the nicest way...she's quick, thorough, easygoing, patient and has you all checked out before you know it! I tried on a lot of glasses and even though she had some other people to attend too after me she didn't rush me she made me feel like I was important and her only client and I didn't need to hurry. She's helpful in giving her honest feedback on what looks better on you and she's measuring you and plugging in all the information and it all goes so quickly and after you've made your decision on what your going with and in my case it was glasses and sunglasses - she gives you your information and what your insurance covers and then paperwork and her business card and lets you know about when your glasses might be ready and if you have any further questions to please feel free to call her! I just appreciate how kind she is even though I was somewhat unsure on what to go with but she made my decision easier with her honest opinion! And I'm happy with what I picked out! She's the best! We have been going here for years alway have had great experience. This year 2023 they decided to change computer systems and when you get there you have to do all the work. There's no need for a receptionist because all she does is sit there, playing with her computer, talking to other people as you enter all the information into your own drivers license your insurance card you're doing all the work and then, when you ask her questions, she acts like it's an inconvenience. I have really good eyecare insurance and I get two glasses every year. This is the first year we went someplace else about our glasses because when you don't have customer service what I was going to have to measure my eyes pick my own glasses order my own lenses apparently because there's no need to have staff there Thinking about changing eye clinics after this year. To start with Terry at the front desk is fantastic! She and Dr V & staff were great at both my previous visits. I've been coming here for 2yrs. I recently now had my both sons in for exams and meet Dr. Tatiana for the first time. She was outstanding, she not only explained to my sons their individual exam outcome but assured me in the "why" behind selecting contacts and knowing the difference in choices was easy to select after speaking with her. I will be coming back for my annual exam and hope that Dr. Tatiana will continue to be at location. You guys, this place is the best! If you need glasses, contacts, vision check, this is the place. The facility is clean and the employees are warm and friendly. Dr. Bui is the perfect optometrist. She is friendly, professional, approachable and very thorough. She explained everything I needed to know and really goes beyond the usual expectations to make sure I was taken care of. She spent a lot of time with me which was really nice because I hate feeling rushed. My wait time was short and scheduling was very easy (you can make an appointment online or one the phone). On the Optical side, Nikki assisted me and she was wonderful. She was super patient (i tried on lots of glasses) and helped me to pick the right glasses for me. Dr. Tatiana Noroozian is amazing. She not only took very good care of me during an emergency visit, but helped me days later with getting my additional prescriptions filled. Ordered glasses, wait 2 weeks. Bifocal crooked, returned same day, sent back, wait 2 weeks. Wrong prescription, returned following day , sent back, wait 2 weeks. Unhappy with Transitions after 3 days, was told I could upgrade to Active Transitions but would have to pay the $20 difference. When he looked it up, the upgrade was not available on the Polycarbonate lens and I would have to downgrade to plastic but would not credit me the $70 diffrence in lens price. When asked for a refund, I was told the order was over 45 days old and they did not have to provide a refund (or even offer to upgrade the Transistions) but would, minus a 20% stocking fee. I was happy with the Eye Exam. read more

The Dr was great & the staff is nice. My only complaint is the financial part. I don't understand why I have to pay an extra fee to get a different brand of contacts than I had last year. I have commercial insurance and I can pick whatever brand I want so why do I have to stick with the same brand or pay Mann Eye more if I just paid for a full eye exam. It's not like I picked one brand and then came back a week later wanting a different one. Now it's almost been a year again and I ordered a refill from an online website but since my prescription expires in a month Mann Eye will not approve any order since I can't go over a month and a box of weekly contacts contains 6. No one has ever limited my order as long as the prescription is still good. This is a first and I've been buying online for over 20 years. They offered to give me some samples until my next appointment but I'm just irritated with all of it so going to try another place. At least I can try another brand and not pay more out of pocket just because I'm a returning customer. read more

For story telling purposes, I live in the Heights and work in downtown Houston. I drove all the way to Tomball and it was WORTH IT. Mind you, I was about 10-15 minutes late to my appointment but this did NOTHING to alter their professionalism. An older technician greeted me and had me fill out paperwork immediately. As soon as I finished, she took me into one of the rooms to get the exam going. SWEETEST lady ever. She explained her process, how and why she was doing it. So the technician was great. Brownie points for sure. Miss Chau Vi, the optometrist, did a thorough exam and also explained the whole process as well. She also spoke to me about her personal experience with LASIK. Miss Chau was the whipped cream and cherry on top. I have gone to fast paced optometrists [America's Best Value] and have been told what I need but never why. At ABV, the optometrist went very quickly but did not bother to give me any feedback from my previous prescription to compare. I can in and was told I would need two pair of glasses. One for distance and computer and one for reading. They guy keep trying to sell me trifocals. I told me I could get use to bifocals why do I want trifocals. I told him I would buy one pair from them and another pair elsewhere. So I had my distance and computer glasses done here. When I went to pick them up. I was told the guy was fired and he should have never tried selling me distance and computer glasses. And I could buy another pair at discount price. Really that would mean I would have three pairs of glasses. I will never go back. I was told one thing and didn't get what I wanted. Don't go to them. They will just take your money. I consider myself pretty picky when it comes to my vision. In the past I've always had doctors who seemed more concerned about what they thought I needed rather than what really works for me. This is the first time I have found a Doctor that really Listens to what my needs are and have my prescription really work for me.
