Edited Review I added a star. After my 1st review he contacted me again to see if I needed work done. I called another. contractor. He asked what was wrong. He graciously told me how to fix it. I need help with repair of my sprinkler system. I set an appointment a week out. longer than Alfredo stated he needed to get to my project. Alfredo did not show up and said he had a truck problem. No problem. Set up a second appoint a week later and he did not show up or call. sounds like he does great if you can get him there. I don't want to have to be the one to follow up and call him when he is missing appointments. poor customer service. I am flexible and was not on a time line. his reviews were good but I have not had the same experience. read more

Alfredo was very nice and prompt at the time of service. He came out the same day I called him and was able to schedule service within a few days to cap off a few lines to make way for a slab. After this again he came out and seemed to do a good job getting a couple of zones back up again. However, a few months went by and I tested the sprinklers again and noticed one of the zones was not working. I tried to run each zone but this one wouldn't take. I called and texted Alfredo several times after this without any word back (spanning 2 months). I do not want to have to write a bad review, but b/c of the lack of service/call back after the initial service I would not recommend this company to anyone. read more

I happened to be behind one of Texas Sprinkler's trucks on my way home and wrote down the number. We need a couple relatively small repair jobs done in the front of the house, as well as new irrigation installed in the back. My wife had called Top Choice a while ago about what it would cost to just repair a broken head we have, and they said it would be $85 minimum for a service call (labor, not including parts). I figured we should at least call around, and Texas Sprinkler seemed as good as place as any to start. When I called I reached Camacho. It was his truck I was behind in the Circle C neighborhood. I told him about the issues I had and asked if he could give me an estimate. He said it would be no problem and would come by my place in about 20-45 minutes at no cost to take a look (he was in the area. The company is listed as located in Leander, so I'm not sure if Camacho covers Austin, while his partner covers Leander, or if he just happened to be in the area for the day). He arrived promptly, and after a quick look gave me an estimate for each part of the job. The prices sounded very reasonable. As for the busted sprinkler head: he said he would replace that at no cost right away. He took a head off his truck and in about two minutes replaced the head! Camacho is a very nice guy, and very professional. Texas Sprinkler is a small company. He works with his partner, Alfredo Saenz, and maybe two other guys (I believe he said their were four guys total). Alfredo's number is the one listed with the business. My brief experience with Camacho was very positive, and I will definitely be calling Texas Sprinkler to install the irrigation for the back of our house, as well as for any additional repairs along the way. read more

Yes, really, they actually are in the home services category AND THEY CALL YOU BACK. Like, really. Every time. (cue twilight zone music) I called these gentleman based on some yelp reviews and will add my 2 cents into the ring. They are the definition of above and beyond. They... ~ Did what they said they'd do. Which, was to install an irrigation system into the meandering and diverse vegetation that surrounds the abode I call home. Irrigation system runs well, permits were included and all is superb. ~ Remember the little details of which plants have super nostalgic value and need TLC. Like, really ! How cool is that ? ~ Came by next time they were in the area to check on a sprinkler head that was being cranky. And.. fixed it for free ! ~ Spent A LOT of time explaining the timer on the watering system and were super patient as I created color-coded charts of the area. ~ Noticed this orphan crepe myrtle I'd had hanging in it's pot and suggested a few places it may actually work. Even helped me find a good spot for it, and then... they planted it for me ! (Not at all on the original plan). ~ Are fantastic, polite and super professional. Highly recommend ! read more

We used this company about 4-5 years ago to install a new sprinkler system in our front and back yard. They did a great job for us and we've had very little maintenance issues since. Recently we noticed some areas of our lawn weren't getting enough water and the sprinkler heads there weren't spraying effectively. We contacted the company and asked if they could come out to assess the issue. They were quickly responsive and set up a time to come out. Their technician figured out that an area of pipe had cracked and there were some sprinkler heads that needed replacement. The technician was able to repair it for us within an hour and was very professional and courteous. We will definitely call them again if any issues come up for us. I called Alfredo about a couple of areas in my yard that were not getting hit by my sprinkler system. Alfredo and his crew spent close to a half hour testing all the zones, checking and adjusting water pressure, and made reasonable suggestions on how to improve the overall system before even creating an estimate. He and his crew were quick, knowledgeable, and charged what I felt was a fair price for the work they did. I'm up and running within a couple of hours. Alfredo and crew did not disappoint. I had several sprinkler heads that needed replacing and some that needed relocating due to a redesign of our planting areas. Also needed a valve replacement as well. All work done extremely well and at a fair price. I'm checking into their services for exterior lighting now and will provide a separate review for that. We used Tx Sprinkler for our backyard irrigation. Camacho and Alfredo were very professional. They came out the same day for a quote and were one of the most professional and thorough contractors that we had a bid from. They were able to do the work within a week of their quote. All of their workers were quick, polite and fast. They stayed around till after the landscapers finished their work to double check and make sure everything worked correctly. I noticed my neighbor was using them on their house and made a mental note to check with them about their service - of course the very next week I had a whole zone go out on my sprikler system. My neighbor recommended them highly so I called and Comacho answered from his truck. He said I will try and get there this afternoon. He called at 4:30 and said I can't make it but will be there first thing in the AM. 8 AM he is out in front of my house! His crew was extremely professional - they fixed the problem and then Comacho took me ourtside and showed me where each solenoid was hidden so I could map it for future use. Alfredo was very professional on the phone and helped me communicate and coordinate with my home warranty company to get my sprinkler repair covered. He was very patient and knowledgeable throughout the process. His crew showed up when they were supposed to and walked through all of the repairs and adjustments with me. When one of the sprinkler heads seemed to be faulty, they returned and fixed promptly, no problem. They stand behind their work and do a great job for a reasonable/competitive cost. When I was shopping around for landscaper to install river rocks on my front yard (on 500-600 sqft), I was shocked how landscapers ignore potential customers. I tried to reach 6 different landscaper and could reach only 3 of them but one turned out to work only with trees (yelp mistake). Texas Landscaper was the only one who answered my phone call immediately and I did not need to leave a message. They gave me a reasonable estimate within few days. I got a cheaper offer from the other landscaper but it was always a hassle to reach them while I could reach Alfredo or Camacho on phone and email any time I needed them. So I decided to go on with Texas Sprinkler after negotiating the price. Even if they were still a bit more expensive, I'm glad I made the good choice. They could put me on schedule for the same day and finished the job in one and half days. They (and the entire crew) were super nice. I would definitely recommend them and they will be my first contact if any landscaping project comes up around my house in the future. read more

We recently used Texas Sprinkler for repairs and additions to our current system. Our next door neighbor recommended Mr. Camacho with Texas Sprinkler for both their work quality and pricing. We needed the master valve replaced, as well as some new sprinkler heads put in to replace ones that were capped when a patio and sidewalk were installed, and a couple heads moved. He gave us an estimate one day; and he was out with his team the next. They were quick, did a great job, fixed a couple more issues that we found once the system was working correctly again, and cleaned up after the work was done. We worked with Mr. Camacho to move our main line sprinkler system in the back yard as we recently extended our patio.They also adjusted several sprinkler heads in the front and back yard. They were extremely professional and easy to work with. Mr. Camacho is an expert on lawn irrigation!
