They resealed my roof. I've never seen such a mess. The guy doing it kept disappearing obviously a drugs issue to me. They were supposed to come back and clear it up but never saw anyone again. I called Doug to set up some repairs to my 5th wheel. He called me back while I was busy and I couldn't answer. I texted him and he said he would call me back. I texted and called him for a month after that and he never responded or answered. Bad business. read more

Until one week ago I have never spent more than 20min in an RV and certainly never alone in one. Well, my first night in my RV and after my family had left the A/C and interior lights quit working. By day 3, I'd had enough of waiting for Family to return to troubleshoot and I started calling........ So, line item number one that made GTech awesome was.....THEY ANSWERED THE PHONE! After briefly describing the problem he told me what was wrong, what he would have to do, the part he needed to get and finally what time he'd be here. He even explained why he would be here that afternoon instead of immediately-which, of course, he did not have to explain his schedule to me. Additionally, i was under the impression that no RV repair company makes same day calls......so being told it would be handled that day is line item number 2 that makes GTECH awesome. Doug was my technician and OMG! Not only did he do what I needed him to do inside of 20-30min he also gave me a quick RV's 101 tutorial. (So helpful amd im so appreciative.) Doug is extremely well-spoken and he did not talk to me like some men talk to women (ladies know what i mean......like we're idiots). No, I felt like a family member was talking me. At the end, he must have made sure i understood to call for ANYTHING even just a question by repeating that about 3-4 times. GTECH - and Doug, especially, are the go-to guys for RV repair. As long as im dealing with an RV they've gained my loyalty. Just one visit and immediately I wouldnt trust anyone else to help me with my RV issues. Doug repaired a couple of things on my trailer and was way beyond helpful and dedicated. I put in a recent repair request. Doug has been a no show. I have called and been given the "empty promises" of Doug planning to show. I had to call someone else. read more

I used them because they were recommended by Eastlake RV Park where I was staying. There were a number of issues with my RV. After two trips, they resolved none and kept my $250 warranty repair deductible on top of what I paid for their trip and labor. They blamed my warranty company for lack of action. I switched to In Route Mobile RV and they were able to receive authorization for over $5000 in repairs including a brand new AC system. read more

At first loved these guys. My first called them about a leak under rv they came and fixed it no issues but when i started looking they left a bunch of screws out made gaps ubder the rv. So I called them again about my shower drain because I liked there work before I started looking. They told me they would be out a few days later so i agreed and told them i would be working at the time to come in whenever they got there. However when I got off that afternoon they weren't there and nothing had been fixed. I called the office and told them to disregard because this repair was going to be complicated he told me no they where coming and they showed up anyway. They didn't complete the repair that day and stated they would need to come back. I called the next day to speak to some one about the situation. They told me thay they would charge me again to show up and finish the job. When I said that wasn't right I asked you not to show up they yelled you dont know what you want and hung up on me. I had another company show up for the shower and fixed it within 20 min when they said it would take 2 hour and included taking apart my hot water heater. read more

We arrived at our campground in TX during a downpour May 23rd a Sunday Our leveling jacks weren't working and we Called Mobile RV Service. The tech, Doug, was able to asses the issue and advise us what we needed. Bought a new relay switch and working great. Thank you Doug! read more

This place is terrible!!! Doug came out to my camper on June 24th. I paid him $100 for service call and $100 toward my deductible on warranty. He was suppose to order me a grey tank well to this day (July 26th) I don't know if the grey tank has been ordered!! Got to talk to Doug today (July 28th) he is giving me the run around. I'm done dealing with this company. I think they just come to your place and get the $100 for the service call and then blow you off but I'm out $200!! I wouldn't even trust them to do work on my RV anymore. read more

I have no issue with quality of work if you can get them to show up. Spent 3 months trying to get an apt to finish a job, but was always told "next week" or "we'll call you". Started to think they were doing it deliberately until I read other reviews with the same issue. We run a RV resort and are taking them off our list of preferred vendors. read more

I got a power surge which fried my converter/charger and my inverter. I called Texas RV Traders and they showed up in less than 2 hours. Doug had the new converter in his truck had it quickly installed. The inverter had to be ordered but we got that within 2 days. Great service, knowledgeable techs and great prices. We had used their services in the past and had no issues. This most recent experience however, was less than acceptable. Their follow up and communication was horrible. I had to call several times for updates and was given the run around. They told me they would expedite the delivery of the parts needed and send me the tracking code. Never happened. The owner could only make excuses and told me it wasn't his fault that the factory hadn't sent the part and why his tech wouldnt get back to me with updates. Bottom line, they stopped communicating and never fixed my issue. Would never recommend or use them again! read more

Contacted the owner about coming out and doing some work on my RV. After discussing the cost and what needed to be done, I was told they would be out on Monday and they would call and let me know an hour before they would arrive. I waited an entire day and never heard from them. Understanding that mistakes can be made, about a month later, I thought I would try again. I contacted the owner and informed him of what happened the first time. He stated "that didn't sound right' but I informed him that is what happened. He told me that he would schedule me for Thursday. I asked if he knew about what time and he said that they had my number and would call about an hour before they show up. I agreed and waited around all day. Once again, I was left with no phone call and no follow up. I was/am not happy with this company. I will be informing others of how Texas RV Traders do business around here. Don't waste your time. The employees do good work from what I have seen but the owner apparently doesn't know how to schedule and run an office. Do not be surprised if you find out you have wasted your time. read more
