Almost every Sunday with 3 adults... we almost always get the Mikes who are awesome... today we got Jocelyn who was absolutely HORRIBLE and WE WON'T EVER COME BACK! The steak was so so very tough and potatoes hard and salad was not fresh. But the worst was that she never cleared the dishes, never offered desert and left us there for over an hour trying to get a bill! I finally told a random waitress to get our bill or we were going to walk! Jocelyn was too busy with her "big table" to ever clear a single dish from ours and we were stranded there over 2 hours ... when she finally came back, never clearing the table, offering us water or dessert and by the way told us before that she would get us a take home box now bc she had a "big table" she need to serve like we were chopped liver and in the way... she didn't make sure we could pay, I tried to pay 2x bc it looped back and popped up to pay again and I thought it had gone through and my friend paid and we left... we tried to ask her for help but she was too busy with her preferred table to give us the time of day so we left... all of a sudden some crazy ponytailed girl started screaming she was calling the police and see if they have a phone number in our system etc and I said you don't need my phone number I went to get the Visa card from my brother so I could try to pay again but I have paid twice and she was screaming like a lunatic in front of customers and servers that I didn't pay and I said I realize that bc you said it didn't take so that's why I am back here with my Visa card... she was shaking and snorting and making a horrible scene... and if she had calmed down she would have realized that I directly told her that I was getting my card to pay when we were outside and she ran back inside ... I came back with my Visa card like I told her I was going to do and I was looking for her but she was too busy slandering me and acting like a complete fool!! I've never been to a Texas Roadhouse and after seeing tons of social media videos about how good their butter and rolls are, I wanted to give it a go. The place gets packed. Luckily we had a reservation so only had to wait a few minutes to get a server. Before they seat you they allowed us to go to their 'butcher window' where they had various ribeyes. If you order a steak you're given the opportunity to pick your steak which is a neat practice that I've never seen at a chain restaurant. As the name suggests, the decor is definitely very western/Texan themed. Lots of awards hanging on the walls speak to the quality of their ribs, I didn't order any but definitely looking forward to them next time I go. We had a few appetizers and I settled on the Ribeye with the grilled shrimp. The streak was tasty and cooked to order. The shrimps were also seasoned well. My mean came with 2 sides. I chose the mashed potatoes and the Mac N Cheese (not picture). Overall a good amount of food for the price point. The rolls and butter are good. Nothing special or life altering but they're complimentary and they have our table 3 refills. So that was nice of them. Our appetizers were the fried pickles and the cactus blossom. We've been to Texas roadhouse in our city before. (Bakersfield) So when we were in Vegas, we ate there with the family. Everything is consistently good. Next time I will have to order less food because every time I leave there I leave with leftovers. Me and my crew were staying out here in Henderson for some work location sites and our hotel is nearby. I took them out to Five Guys for lunch, but now it dinner and they deserve a real sit down dinner. Trying to please 5 people is a trick, but I've been with there guys and one girl for awhile so I know what they like. Texas Roadhouse is always a good choice, fancy enough, but not stuffy. Lucky one is located here in Henderson. Most Texas Roadhouses are pretty busy most of the time, especially at dinner, so I called in ahead and did the get in line ahead of time thing. If you do this, your table will be ready pretty much when you arrive, just tell the host person, you called ahead and you get in before all those people waiting in line! I like how the steaks are on display and you can pick out which exact steak you want! This is the way to go if you're particular about your steak. Just tell you server you picked out the steak already. We get seated and the tasty bread is served at the table right away. Our server is all bubbly and friendly, I guess they're trained to be. Drink orders were taken and then we ordered our food. I got the ribeye and so did a couple of other guys. One person ordered the full rack of ribs. I ordered a couple of orders of the cheesy potato skin thingies. Five people need two orders! The restaurant is sort of on the loud side, but that's what a Texas Roadhouse is like, not a one on one romantic place ... well, unless you're in high school! Our food arrives and my steak is cooked just as ordered, I got a Caesar salad with it. Everybody liked their food and even the ribs were super tender, so much so the bones fell right out of the rack! We had a party of 8 and was able to call in ahead of time to be placed on their waitlist. Normally you can do it online through their website. We got seated within 15 mins of our reservation time. It was quite busy and the parking lot gets full. We sometimes have to park near the other restaurants and stores. Their butter bread is the best and their ambience is loud with music, talking and occasional line dancing by the workers ( which is entertaining). Our waiter Brayden was excellent, he was attentive and super nice. Their steaks were all good as we all ordered sirloin or ribeye. I like their meat display at the front of the restaurant. They also give complimentary bags of peanuts, which my dad really likes. We also ordered the bloomin onion and fried pickles for appetizers. I think both dishes use the same batter, which is good. Haven't been to once since we were in Texas. It wasn't too crowded. We really came cause my daughter liked there bread. Our server was nice. The food runner that was bringing the food had gone to the wrong table. I told him I think that was our food and he asked if we were with the other table. I said no and so he said I don't think so. He walks away with our food and then comes back and said I guess you were right. He drops off the food and walked away. The server or runner didn't apologize. Oh boy, we went with a crowd of 15 peeps at 3pm, opening time. It wasn't that long until we to got seated. I guess they don't do reservations. We were hoping for 1 table but I guess they separated us into 3 tables. Everyone just cliqued up. We had 3 different servers, one per table. Our was I believe named Madison, blonde hair? I generally like Texas Roadhouse but have had issues at this location. Steaks not cooked properly and items missing from to-go orders. Also their parking situation is an unfortunate mess. However when they leave out the silverware from your to-go order (which was on the receipt) it gives you an excuse to go "caveman" on your steak. We are about 50/50 with good/unfortunate experiences here. What I like is they do pretty good early bird specials and their kids meals are a good fit for the grandboys. The fresh baked bread and cinnamon butter satisfy. Also if you like country fried steak give it a try here. I just wish we could get more consistent on the good side. read more

Yummmmmm the SOFT bread made from scratch with Honey Cinnamon Butter is divine. I just learned you can buy a tub of that butter at Wal-Mart too! Service was amazing with our Server Claypool! Decided to stop in after a Costco trip and tried something different. I was ordering the chicken salad anytime we came, but I went with the smothered chicken this time since I was really hungry. Rare miss for this location on our last visit. Maybe it was because it was a busy Saturday night, but while the food was its usual good fare at a good price, the service lacked today. First something was wrong with the iced tea so that wasn't provided until well after the app and salads were served. Maybe offer something else in the meantime? Then just as we're getting into our salads, the meal appears! Way too early for when we got our salads and we had to clear out everything else on the table to make room for our dinners which were going to be brought no matter what. Again the food was fine. In fact the cactus blossom was the best we had ever had it. But you know how a supervisor always comes over and checks if everything is fine briefly as they usually are running away from the table but they pick up the tag on the edge of the table. No one came by to do that but yes the tag was gone. Not sure what happened there, but the one time I would have had some constructive criticism, no one came by. And not once was a refill brought or even asked about. I've been there times where I've had a refill well before I was ready. What we have learned is be prepared for a louder more rambunctious environment on the weekends that will make the setting even louder than normal and may make the service a little less five star. I like this brand and have had enjoyable meals, but this was our first visit to this location, and it was disappointing. Our party of seven had to send back two steaks because they were off-temp. Both were ordered Medium and came Rare. Not just slight, but quite off on the temp. I also chose my cut from the display. My cut was pulled, but it was not what I received. Mine was also noticeably off temp-wise, but I didn't want to send half our steaks back. I should have, as I later found that parts of my medium-rare-ordered steak were blue-rare. One of the medium refired steaks came back well. The service was okay. The drinks and apps were good. It was a Saturday night and busy, but there is no excuse for the lack of care in your signature items, steaks. I will return to TR, but I don't plan to return to this location. read more

First off, I'm a steak snob. I like cooking and grilling my own steaks, and I love going out to steakhouses all over the Strip. I had the bone in ribeye and thought it was good. Cooked medium, not overly fatty, and had a nice texture and charred flavor on the outside. Not bad for around $33. The green beans side was gross, however. Super mushy and tasted really bland. The baked potato was pretty standard. I also tried the rattlesnake bites, which were free because I signed up for their club on the website. It was ok, I thought there would be more of a spicy kick. My wife tried the prime rib, and it was the nastiest and driest prime rib I have ever eaten. It tasted like it was at least a few days old, and every once of moisture had been zapped from it. I don't know how any self respecting restaurant would dare serve that thing. This was my first time at Texas Roadhouse, and it was just about what I expected. It's food that any competent cook at home can make, but for a night out without breaking the wallet, I can see why this chain is popular for a specific demographic. Well YEE-HAW!!! Grabbed a great meal on an early Friday evening... parking lot was packed but we were greeted by the front end host stand promptly with no wait and taken to a table with hot dinner rolls and sweet butter within seconds. Next our server welcomed us to the "Roadhouse" and told us all about the menu with some delicious recommendations. I thought I was seeing double though when he turned around to the other server, who was his twin. They both came back to the table and were sweet as pie! Ordered appetizers and that came out sizzling hot under 10 minutes tops. Our server, Chris checked back with us frequently -- he was awesome! Soon after, our dinner arrived. One of our napkins was definitely dirty - we asked for another one with no issue though. Our waitress definitely expected us to know what we wanted as soon as we sat down lol but I told her a couple times in a maybe 5 min span that we still needed a minute. It felt very rushed. When we ordered our food, the waitress tried to upsell every item possible - if i wanted avocado, I would've asked for it. If I wanted my fries to be cheesy with bacon, I would've asked. If we wanted the baked potato to be loaded, we would've asked. Every individual being asked this is repetitive and annoying. It took a decent while to get our food, but the place was busy so that's understandable. We had to ask for more bread - service is best when it's offered, especially when the wait is long. The fried pickles were mid, wouldn't order them again. But the rest of our food was decent. We've had much better service here in the past. Finally I've had sometimes after an appointment near by St. Rose, I drive here 2pm. And waited in the empty Parking lot, wanted to make sure I could get in today when they open at 3pm. I had a good experience when I had Saturday lunch right after work. I ordered salmon and green beans and sweet potato, they cooked my fish and the sides perfectly and I finished them all. Hubby ordered kabob and he said he loved it, I tried it but I thought the temperature should be medium instead of medium rare but that's his preference. We got our food promptly and the complementary bread and butter felt sinful eating them. If you want another bread basket they will happily oblige to give it to you. We had an attentive server and the manager also came and checked if we are ok. Food is consistent. Casual and family friendly ambiance. Service depends on who you get as a server. I want to take the time to commend Angela. She wasn't our server (she seemed like a food runner) but the customer service she showed deserves to be recognized. We made eye contact and she knew exactly what I needed (extra barbecue sauce) and even got a refill for my husband. That made our dining experience go from a 4 star experience to a 5 star experience. read more
