When the technician arrived, he immediately stated that he couldn't help us. Well, after another Yelp! search I found another company, Modern Mobile Home Services. Their technician, Will, came out, went under our house (not a gnome sized man like the previous company would suggest), quoted us a price, went back in and fixed our air ducts. He started over 4 months ago, said he would be done in a month and he has not finished ONE room. This is not just a one time incident, this dude has given us the run around from day one. He leaves for lunch saying "We will be back" and never shows back up. He told us he "hurt his back and was on medication" so we waited a month and finally had to call and see what was up... he answered (after about 2 days of me begging him to please let me know something) saying he would stop by (it was a Saturday) that day. Because our house has been in complete disarray for so long because of this man, we cancelled our plans for that night and waited. He never showed UNTIL the next morning - SUNDAY MORNING!(no call, no text to let us know he wasn't coming Saturday- he just came by banging on the door at 9am on Sunday) He came in looked around like he had forgotten what the place looked like and said he would be finished by next Friday. Well guess what?!? He never showed. Again. So here we go again with the texting and calling. Finally he does answer and texts me he had another job and would be by after he finishes this other job. And that brings us to today. He has not answered and I have to assume is just taking off with our $ now. Update- It has now been over 6 months and no word from this guy and he's changed his number. Not sure what to do...

This was a basic shelf build in a small utility closet housing our water heater. The handyman was…read moreresponsive, punctual, arrived with all materials, and completed the work as quoted. His pricing was fair compared to other estimates I received, and he was accommodating when we requested adjustments after installation due to clearance concerns around the water heater. The quality of the work was appropriate for the type of project. This is a utility closet rather than a visible living space, so I wasn't looking for high-end finish carpentry. The shelving is sturdy and functional, which was the primary goal. There were a few minor points worth noting. The shelves themselves were built from plywood while the framing was pine. This wasn't a major issue, but the exposed plywood edges remain somewhat rough despite being sanded. Additionally, when modifications were needed after installation, the shelf was cut in place with a jigsaw rather than being removed and recut, which left a less polished finish but it is not visible. Regarding pricing, the original quote included a first-time customer discount and staining. After deciding not to stain the shelves, the price remained unchanged. However, given that his overall quote was still significantly lower than many others I received, I felt the pricing remained fair and reasonable. Overall, I definately would hire again for practical, functional projects where value, responsiveness, and getting the job done are more important than fine-finish craftsmanship.

A little over a year back I had them put some 20' steel poles in my backyard for hanging sun shades and twinkle lights. The job was done quickly and efficiently, the price was fair and they're still standing true and sturdy. Recently they put in a beautiful 80 foot walkway with crushed limestone and 2'x2' pavers. I highly recommend their expertise and craftsmanship.
