I found SVPT by a VA referral and was displeased with the distance from my home (approximately 20 miles) and workplace (16 miles), however after my second visit I was convinced this is where I needed to be and will continue to make the drive! The voicemail stated to call back to reschedule. I have been trying to reach a human for the past two hours. Both numbers I call go to the customer service center, which keeps you on hold because their higher than expected call rate. No one at the Singing Oaks office answers the phone. The automated system let me request a callback. The system called me back and put me back in the queue. How does one reschedule when there's no call back and no one answers the call?! Also, when my doctor sent them my referral and I did receive a call, the woman on the line stated that I was going into the San Antonio location. I told her that I was going to the Bulverde/Spring Branch location and she said that I had to call my doctor's office to get that changed. I did and she was misinformed. My dr's office said that I could pick any location. Train your people and answer the phone! *Edit Two hours went by without receiving a callback. I called them again and waited in the queue. This time the line was answered quickly. The only available appointment for the same week was three days later at 7 am. I don't do early mornings, so I have to wait 8 days for a different time option.

Walking in the front door- you don't find anyone at the front desk. I breezed in, started wandering around the facility, and nobody was around- the halls were empty of people working there. That seems to be the general feeling of the place- grossly understaffed. My grandmother has been complaining about the fact that she hits the button that calls the nurses, and nobody shows up for five hours. Five Hours. They haven't been able to deliver her prescribed pain medications, because the facility has been out for days. Days. How does a medical facility run out of medicine?! The management here is largely absent. It's taken days to get to see a doctor. Days! This place is completely inept. Don't send your loved ones here. The one guy on duty doesn't have nearly enough time to get to see them. Beware!

I had seen her about 3 years ago for a similar injury and she was amazing. If I hadn't been the recipient of her wonder working abilities, I likely would have been skeptical; however, after one visit I walked out, upright this time, with zero pain. My back was sore the next morning where she manipulated some muscles and attempted to relocate my spleen outside my body but the muscle pain was completely gone. I received a few exercises and stretches as a maintenance program and a couple other sessions with Dr. Nino were scheduled just to put everything right again. Dr. Nino is a very kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable health care provider. I highly recommend her to anyone with a soft tissue injury. For Years doctors and chiropractors I've seen have done Nothing for me other than take my money and tell me I'll have to learn to live with the pain for the rest of my life. And so I have... until I met Dr. Stephanie at Airrosti in Bulverde, TX just a few months ago! On the very First visit she diagnosed what was really happening and causing the pain! And after some joint manipulation there that day with some things she told me to do from home - I actually felt real Relief from my pain THE VERY NEXT DAY!! I was amazed to tears of joy!! Ms. Kelsey and Ms. Kjersten have been amazing, as are all of the staff. He has grown more in the last few months than he did in the previous years. It is amazing. His confidence has grown unbelievably. The way they go about "correcting" sounds or behaviors enables the children to believe in themselves, not doubt that they are able to do something. He used to say "I can't do that" or "that sound is too hard" but now he knows that he is able to do anything he tries! He loves going and leaves feeling empowered every time. Our daughter also started speech here with Ms. Melissa and she begs to go to speech every day! She is the kid that cries when Mom leaves her anywhere (including at home with Dad) but she runs into her "class room" without a glance back. Her speech is improving already! They are called Connections Therapy for a reason, they truly care about the connection they have with every child and every family member. I cannot say enough good things.

Started Physical Therapy with Dr. Leanna Garza last week. I had an initial exam with lots of Q&A so…read morethat Dr. Garza can properly assess my issue and the treatment plan going forward. She was very patient, gentle, listened carefully, polite, understanding and had a great bedside manner. I felt like I wasn't just a number and never felt rushed. After the Q&A, we did some mobility assessments and went out to the floor where Dr. Garza showed some exercises to do daily. The following visit, I tried Dry-Needling which is similar to acupuncture but the needles are placed only momentarily in the trigger points vs. left on the skin for a few minutes. Sometimes it would sting in the initial prick but it was bearable and brief. I've had acupuncture before so I'm not averse to it. The dry needling is supposed to treat the pain and allow for a better range of motion. After the dry needling, I was out on the floor to do more brief exercises and stretches. The exercise area is pretty big and there are a few PTs and Medical Assistants there to help you. I really appreciated that Dr. Garza was the one assisting me on the floor vs. just the exam and out on the floor with just Med Techs/Assistants showing me exercises. The MAs were personable & friendly. They were the ones taking my blood pressure as soon as I was led to the floor after check-in. It's been a few days since the dry-needling and the pain has subsided so we'll see if I'll need a few more treatments in the coming weeks? Lively music is piped in and I noticed in my first visit, there was a lot of Spanish language pop music playing. Check-in clerks were friendly and in a good mood. Overall, it's a positive atmosphere. The place seems busy but efficient. There's plenty of parking in this small business park.
