Low and below, I also ended up with cording in my primary right arm as part of the process. Everything I read online about cording is bad and you need to get started right away on therapy to help address before you get a frozen shoulder and arm. My doctors referred me to a place who could not get me in to help work on my cording/lymphedema for over 6 weeks. Not acceptable! I looked up registered therapist who work with this very special issue. After doing research I found that there are only a couple in all of San Antonio and the surrounding area and Alante happened to have several. Not only did they take my call after hours on a Friday night, but hearing what I was going through, scheduled me in for first thing the following week fitting me into their already busy schedule because they did not want me to suffer. Cate (owner and lead therapist) is superwoman! She is fantastic to work with, super sweet and caring, always takes care of me and ensures that I am doing well and like the energizer bunny...just keeps going and going. I have made such progress and am so impressed with their personal approach to me while doing my therapy. They are so sweet and caring and also very professional with what they do. They are up on everything to make sure I get the best of care and keep in touch with my drs. They always do a "check in" with me each time I go before we start to see how I'm doing as far as my pain level or any other issues. They also cheer you on and get as excited as I do when I'm able to take a step or steps forward and when there's been a few rough bumps and have had to take some steps back or an easier day and not as much they still reassure me it's ok and it's normal not to beat myself up. The staff I just can't say enough about how awesome they all are: Cyndi, Misha, Lynn, and Jenna. I attempted and spent hours trying to communicate by phone in order to schedule and reschedule appointments for steroid injections and an ablation. Not only would the ancillary staff not answer the phone before and after lunch hours, she would never return recorded pleas to call me on the voice recorder. Absolutely frustrating to the point I just recently had to report this to the VA. They thankfully referred me to a much better practice. The medicine was good, but the service was terrible. Loved the PA and the head nurse.
