They google their patients and gossip about them all day instead of helping them with their medication or answering any questions.

I first started with Kristin F (practitioner) when I would make an appointment. I always felt comfortable and she was always helpful, informative, and listened. Every time I walked into that office I am greeted right away and there wasn't a long wait time. Everyone is always smiling and filled with joy. I travel from south austin and I don't plan on changing them unless I move far, far away. lol Now that Dr Alberda is part of the team there is no better doctors office then this one. I have never walked in to a place like this where you get joy, understanding and great knowledge/skills like this office. Even the phlebotomist is a sweetheart with great skills to draw your blood. Its a short visit with her but her pleasantry last beyond that. Every single person of the staff is excellent at their job and they feel like old friends. I wanted to give kudos to this team and know that it's appreciated how they treat the patients like family with care and excellent skills. Thank you for being genuine and providing the best service possible. God bless y'all.

This office does clinical research related to liver disease, which includes compensated studies. Unfortunately, they are disorganized and requires you to spend hours and months trying to get the compensation owed. And it's worse if you need travel reimbursement, which studies often allow for "reasonable travel" but they refuse to provide details. Depending on who you talk to, it's a different story. If they promise you the check is being written, you hear an hour later that the request for payment was just submitted. And the check is in the mail? Maybe, but it'll arrive two weeks after it's promised, and still be wrong. They also forget to schedule appointments, and those unscheduled appointments aren't reimbursable according to their accountant. Plus it's not a CapMetro friendly location so if you don't or can't drive, you're going to spending $$$ on top of all the time (even short visits are at least two hours, mostly to watch someone flip through a binder and leave the room 5-6 times to get something else. They won't pay the mandatory booking fee if you opt for ride shares, and you must provide itemized receipts. They are about to move to a slightly more CapMetro location. But know what you're going into if you get referred to them for study participation. they still owe me money and I have had to remind them about what's supposed to be included. If you're desperate and choose to participate, be aware that they only see patients in the morning, and those visits will take at least two hours, and only on weekdays.
