This company installed a patio cover 2 years ago at our house. It started with delivering a messed…read moreup lumber. Then they went to bring the twisted lumber back and brought a new one. So the start of this project was delayed from the beginning. Then they never showed up in time. Sometimes they paused for days. They started in the beginning of June and finished in August. Now two years after that , some boards are coming down and since they only stained the wood , we are dealing with black mold. We called the company and they came and took a look. Then the owner later wrote, there is no warranty , since it was caused by water damage, coming from the roof, which is not true! We got an inspection from USAA 3 days later and they could not find any damage from water and the roof has only minor loss of sanding . After that we called another company to take a look and they said the work they did is low quality. Boards were lose because at some point they were not nailed properly or not nailed at all. Also the staining should not allow black mold after only 2 years! We are done with this company. Also the whole project was extremely overpriced.

Joshua Beal came out to look and gave us an estimate that was very reasonable. Once the project began, I was very impressed with the friendliness, professionalism and work ethic of the team. I was often asked to come look at their work, as they wanted to make sure I was happy with their progress. My closet looks amazing! I am SO pleased with my new bathroom closet. I will most definitely call Texas HomePro for any and all future projects.

I made a reasonable request as we are two months into the project for our garage conversion and they should have been finished by now, to either refund the money for the uncompleted work or actually finish the project. I will update my review/post when either they complete it or refund our money for the work that is left uncompleted. I paid them $37,674.29 to complete the project back in April of 2026. 8 weeks is a reasonable time to complete the project and yet they still have not. The demolition was on 8 June. It is now 3 August. We decided to cancel the project with them (on 29 July, after the 4th no show) since they seem to not be able to complete it and give us a refund for the uncompleted work which is a basic concept or for them to finish the project as paid for and promised. Its a constant process of them scheduling people to come out and then they don't and continue to say they will finish the project "soon", my definition of soon is not continued delays week after week after week. The project manager doesn't even know if they do or don't show, we had to notify them they did not show up yet again (text message proof that he would "figure it out" and never did which led to us wanting to cut ties with them). The last day they did any work was on July 10th for the framing. They stated they would still hold their promise and still have intentions of finishing but also sent an email from their legal team stating they do not owe us a refund as they have not "breached their contract" - not finishing the project is definitely a breach and not giving a refund for uncompleted work definitely is a breach. I hope they can fix this or simply refund the money for the uncompleted work. Not a good way for them to support a disabled veteran like myself. Recommendations for legal support would be great. Everything in this post is completely accurate and is not in defamation - only in my review and supporting documents which are true and no lies are being told here. They are doing this to a multitude of homeowners in the area many are pursuing legal action. Don't use them. They report all bad reviews as spam so it is removed. They also have not paid many of their subcontractors, including ones that did work on the project.
