Disclaimer: this is my review about what I saw while my children attended this school…read more I put off writing this for a while. I think I was mostly in denial about all the trauma that was suffered there. I will start with the worst but most important incident. Around October 2024 I was made aware by a staff member that the class above my child's class was punishing kids for having accidents. The kids were between 2-3 years old and potty training. The two teachers in that class were locking the kids in the bathroom with the lights out and using school issued tablets to play scary videos such as scary clowns and monsters. I saw the videos on the tablets myself and the school admitted to it. While the owners let the two teachers go when they found out the problem is that many other teachers knew it was happening and never reported it. It was discovered because one of the good teachers walked in with the director, Max. They heard kids screaming in the bathroom and Max turned around and walked out while the other teacher went back in to investigate. She then told Max what she saw. Once things died down from this incident they ended up firing the teacher who reported it. Other things that happed prior to this are from my own experience. To begin our older child was stabbed in the face by a student with a colored pencil and no suspension or action was taken. That same student went on to harm many others in the class and was not asked to leave. Prior to this, that same child had also hit another classmate in the face with the magnet tile and caused permanent ear damage to her. This was never addressed, and the child continued to injure other kids throughout the year. Following that incident a different child punched my child in the face. I was assured by the owners that the student would be on a 3 day suspension, however that did not last and the student was only required to stay home for two days. With our youngest our issues started when she was in the toddler class and we began to notice that she was having a severe reaction to eating pineapple and citrus foods. I asked the school many times to no longer feed her pineapple and citrus. I wrote it in an email along with providing the allergy form. However, those needs were not met and they continued to feed her pineapple which led to an ER visit where I had to pay over $600 and do many test to be told that her stomach was blocked due to the pineapple not being digested. Following this incident a few weeks later, she was given pineapple again, and I had to come into the school with a bag full of her puke to prove that she could not eat pineapple. Her allergy was not taken seriously until that point. The last issue we had there was the lack of care that had been given to diaper changes. Our youngest kept coming home with a diaper rash. I asked the teachers to make sure she was changed at the end of the day. They then would wait until 6 PM to check and change her. At that point I would arrive and see them changing her but not applying the diaper cream I provided or using the wipes I provided. I had to teach the teacher in the class how to properly change a diaper and apply cream. I spoke with Max, the director, about this incident and was reassured that it would not happen again. Then another day when she was picked up by one our friends, the teachers smelled her bottom and said "I think she's OK" but did not really check. She did have a soiled diaper. The day we decided to leave I went to pick her up and they were changing her diaper as I walked in. My child was screaming at the top of her lungs and had tears rolling down her cheeks. She was crying so hard that she bit her lip. The fecal matter in her diaper was so old and stuck on that could not be wiped off with wet wipes. I had to step in and change the diaper myself and then bring her home and immediately bathe her because it was still stuck on. This neglect is dangerous for the children, and the teachers cannot be trusted to provide basic care. Not only this, but as while she was screaming, one of the teachers who was sitting in the classroom made a comment saying "I cannot handle the way she cries it is so difficult to listen to" and then walked out of the room. How can we trust these teachers to care for our children when they make comments like this? There are very few teachers at the school who actually care for the kids and the ones who do are sadly overlooked, while the teachers who do not care for the kids get placed into rooms that they do not belong in.

HEY HEY HEY HEY RUN FOR YOUR LIFE…read more All of the amazing teachers have flocked to other schools... and for a good reason. There is only one remaining teacher, from the dream team that once was... and I have had nieces at this location from 2016-2018. My children have been there year round since 2019. It used to be an amazing school. Now it's a complete waste of money. I enrolled my first daughter in 2019, my second child in 2021 and we transitioned her out to public school pre-k in 2023-2024 school year. My youngest daughter was there from when she was 11 weeks old in 2021- until last week. Despite being a year round- paying family for this amount of time, one day "the owners" Hank and Anne Emory - just like that- kicked my daughter out and told us she isn't welcome back. In my experience, if you dare to say a word regarding the curriculum ... the owners 1. wait for you to get behind 2. they wait for you to pay them back 3. then they kick your child out with zero warning *I am not the only family That this has happened to... so this is your warning from someone who was incredibly invested in this particular school. Be careful, y'all! They will literally stop you at the door one day and tell your child she is no longer welcome. I've been there as an aunt picking up her nieces 2016-18 and then I enrolled my daughter after she was born in 2019. Now we are in the year 2025. I can say without a doubt that this place is a sinking ship and it should not even consider itself worthy of the Primrose name. A few weeks ago- I gently voiced my opinion - I noted to Max that the difference between my two daughter's exposure to "Primrose-level" curriculum is alarming. Plus they are increasing prices constantly...? My 3 almost 4 year old does not know the book "Brown Bear" which Is totally bizarre ...as her sister knew it by heart, the younger child cannot write any letters - can't even write the letter U with dots... Younger child does not know the pledge, eldest knew it by heart. She doesn't come home and tell me about books being read to them. Let me just go ahead and state that I understand all children have different abilities, but my youngest is not even being exposed to the same curriculum. Max responded to my concerns - he told me that they had transitioned my child to "pre-pre-k-3", a class that did not exist ever(!) and she had grown out of someone checking her after she used the restroom. The owners made this without telling me. I've had close family in the school for the last 9 years, this is a big red flag. I did not even worry about the transition in the moment- but I explained my curriculum concerns, with Max. The next thing I know, they kicked my child out like she was a piece of trash. Full disclosure- I want to own that in December, we got a 5 weeks behind on payment, they did not say a word to me. On the second week of January- I realized my card needed to be updated and I immediately paid off the balance, in full- at once- 5 or 6 weeks, paid, done. Zero balance. The next day, they stopped my child at the door and said she is No longer welcome. Literally, as soon as we paid the balance they kicked her out. Within 24 hours. My child began attending The Primrose School of the Westchase District in 2021- when she was 11 weeks old, she will be 4 in April. My child had important relationships with her classmates since they were infants. Yall- after spending around 100K at this school, they kicked my child out like she was nothing. I watched them build each playground, one by one before my children were even conceived. I've been there, cheering on the school, dropping off books and cans and supporting teachers with gifts when I could. I was invested. These dip-doodles have negatively impacted my entire family and put us in a serious bind this week as we scrambled to find childcare. i believe this school has also knowingly put my child at an educational disadvantage by not giving her any of the Primrose curriculum. My advice- is consider anywhere else. They have zero loyalty to these kids. max says "the owners" but we all know it's his Mommy and Daddy who own it. Yikes. *When I found out that they kicked us out, I did not have that sinking feeling that many parents get when something horrible happens that affects your child- I felt relieved to be finally rid of Primrose Westchase. Any parent who has left a review prior- just note that they also fired Ms. Graves and threw her out. They did her dirty, yall! Ask any former teacher you know... they will tell you... what they did to Ms. Graves was horrible. So these days snacks come from packages, rarely do they come out of the kitchen. I doubt anything is made with love. PS: the scam they love is... all new families get asked for a five star review on google for being selected "family of the month". I know this because they did it to my family.

Walked into the store not knowing anything really about guns. All I know is people are acting crazy…read moreand I wanted something for home protection. Walked in thinking I was getting a shotgun and instead I got a 9 mm. I'm quite the blonde when it comes to guns. Thankfully they offer courses I plan to start taking them next week. And eventually worked my way up to my concealed weapons permit. David and the other gentleman here are quite awesome and very helpful. As long as I live in this area they will definitely be my go-to store to learn and to buy. Proud to say to this location thank you for your service because as far as I know this establishment is ran by veterans
