I've take my son here since I gave birth to him and although I love his doctor, the other physicians and front desk workers aren't the best when it comes to their patients. I went in because my child had congestion and a really bad cough that would keep him up at night. Not only were the front desk staff rude, I was told there was nothing to do besides giving him cold medication and waiting it out (i couldn't schedule with his regular doctor so I was given a different doctor). I decided to get a second opinion by another facility and was immediately given medication and a nebulizer. not only does he have a cold but also an ear infection that wouldn't have been caught if i had stayed with this facility. Being a parent is the scariest thing I've ever done. I do not know what I would do without this place. Yes, calling sucks and the wait times when you get there for an appointment are significant- but we ask all of our stupidest, dumbest questions and the doctors are all genuinely kind. We see Dr. Nicholas and love her to pieces. Also- Morgan. This nurse is gold. She is nicer to my kid than I am. I don't know how to tell her I love her so much without it being weird. read more

This is the place we take the kiddos to when they get sick. Its a well laid out doctors office. They have a separate sick and well waiting area! Decorations are cute and they always have lots of books (not sure if this is a good idea - cough) and TVs in the waiting area. The best part is they have after hours care on the nights and weekends. Kids really don't get sick only from 8-5 M-F! They recently had a tiff with Blue Cross Blue Shield (my insurance) and said they wouldn't take it anymore, but that all got worked out. Negatives - would get 5 stars, but they tend to be backed up and we wait for a long time. This may have to do with patients taking advantage of scheduling. I know that some patients brin gall the kids for one appointment and ask the doctor to look at all the kids. read more

I was surprised by some of the poor reviews so felt I needed to leave my own. I took my son to see Dr. Worrall for the first time when we moved here in 2008. My son was 4. I've often said that choosing Dr. Worrall is one of the best decisions that I made after moving to Texas. When my daughter was born in 2013, I started to take her as well. He ALWAYS knows the answer. He has some kind of 6th sense about everything medical. He has taken amazing care of both my kids. I was just looking online to see how long my son could continue to see him since he's 18 now and noticed some of these reviews. The care there has been the best I've seen. The office staff and nurses and Dr. Worrall have always been kind. The wait is not bad. Sometimes I wait but MUCH less than any other doctor I've ever seen. He knows my kids and my kids love him and actually look forward to going during checkups. When they are sick it's not always easy to get into his schedule but they have a location closer to where we live now and my daughter usually will see a Dr. Muzumdar at that location when she's not well. Her schedule is usually more open and she has also been amazing. She's kind, and personable and knowledgeable. You really couldn't ask for better doctors. I'm sure anywhere you go there's a possibility for a bad interaction. No place is perfect. But, I promise you that Dr. Worrall and Dr. Muzumdar are two of the best doctors I've ever met and I work in the medical field. You would not be disappointed with them. And, you will likely be grateful to have found them. read more

I am not happy here. I have been taking my kids here for 5 years now. I have a 6 year old and 2 year old. At those ages you are in the pediatricians office often. They do everything by the book. There is no personalization. Our doctor doesn't even know who we are. I had just seen him on Friday went back on Tuesday and he didn't know what was up. I want to go somewhere where the doctors and nurses know us. Feel like another number. Jodi the receptionist is very nice and she seems to know us and our dr has a nurse that remembers my kids. I do like the fact that they have after hours clinic and that is what keeps me there but I don't know how much longer. read more

My main doctor's office is located off of FM 2920, I love the convenience they offer by providing their patients with after-hours and weekend appointments for emergency's instead of having to run to an emergency room where the wait is much longer. read more

It's 3.5 star but I give it 4 because of the doctor. When I called to make an appointment, it was impossible to get hold of anyone. The phone was always busy, and the wait time is ridiculously long. When I finally talked to someone, I knew why right away. We were the first-timer there. She had to get our basic information and insurance information on the phone, just like any other clinics. However, their computer system seemed very slow. After each question, she had to say "hold on a second". It definately not just a second. And I had to wait for every single question? You must be kidding me. It took me 25 minutes just to register one child, and I have two!!! No wonder the phone was always busy. The wait time in the exam room was loooooong. They told me it was because school started soon so they were busy, but what I heard from other moms is that the wait was always long. So do I want to go back again? Yes. Why? 1. It's very close to where I live 2. The doctor we had that day was really nice. Dr. Sherri Sandifer was very patient and fun to talk to. Our appointment is right before their lunch time (after the wait, it was basically during their lunch time), but we didn't feel rush at all. When we were waiting for the nurse to come after her, my older child followed her to her office. My son played a toy in her office while she was working on her computer. She didn't kick her out, instead, she let him laugh and scream in her office and still talked to him. My little boy told me afterwards that he felt welcomed. And that's the reason why we would go back in the future. read more

Regarding Team Health after hours answering service paid handsomely by the pediatric center...If I could leave zero stars, I would. My son was prescribed an antihistamine (AH) eye drop which I was told was available in a generic form only to learn it was NOT, and our co-pay was $100. I called the Team Health after hours line asking them to call in a drop that comes in generic, which they did after some pleading. The initial response was they didn't want to bother as this was not an emergency. (If you saw my son you may disagree...gray in color with extreme purple under and above his eyes). Next morning I call the pharmacy. Pharmacist says the person that left the new Rx mispronounced the drug name so badly, he could not even guess what was being prescribed. Another call to Team Health after hours. I tell the lady the situation, and she asks me to spell the name of the drug. If I could spell the name of the drug, there would be no problem and I wouldn't be calling. Are you even listening?? Yet another Rx is called in. Pharmacist alerts me this time they prescribed an antibiotic (AB) rather than an AH. My son has been on more AB's than I can even count. Not giving him another for something that can be handled with an AH. Another call to after hours. It takes 1-1.5 hours to receive a call back each time mind you. I ask, please prescribe an AH that's available as a generic, as was originally intended. Get my call back to be told the doctor on call (Dr. Matthew Muehe) won't prescribe anything bc he hasn't seen my son! We know he needs an AH drop, and has needed since yesterday. And I'm pretty sure Dr. Muehe hasn't personally seen any of the patients the calls are about. I am certain Dr. Muehe decided not to prescribe anything, and therefore punish my 2 year old, because he was irritated with all of my calls to Team Health, never mind that if anyone there could do anything right I wouldn't have to keep calling! Team Health after hours answering service = totally inept and unprofessional! Just FYI, I have never had any problem with 1960 Pediatric Center. The issue is with Team Health, the after hours agency they use. read more
