My wife posted (I'm not sure where, maybe Facebook?) and 2 companies responded pretty quickly. The first company came out and looked at it and suggested a course of action, then Jeff from Houser came out and suggested a different course (more thorough and more expensive). He walked me through his thinking and what he recommended made more sense. He was professional and courteous (and didn't mind questions). On Tuesday, his crew came out and performed what was a reasonably extensive repair quickly and expertly. It turns out the repair the first company recommended would not have actually solved the problem (turns out there were leaks originating from multiple locations). We've had several big rains since, and the problem is, indeed solved. Kudos to Jeff and crew - job well done!

I had to remind them to install the guard I paid for, but fine. The gutters match exactly the color of my exterior walls, and Houser Roofing provided good advice. So far, so good. The vent installation went fine, except they had to come back to install the duct correctly (the first installation was a bit of a fire hazard). But fine, they were graceful about it. The big disaster has been fixing a roof leak. The salesman came up with wild theories about the source. all wrong. It cost me thousands of dollars, with zero results. They came several times, and the last time, they said it was a plumbing issue. A plumber came and disagreed. So this leak has cost me a small fortune over 3-4 years. Finally, I called a local roof company. They found the source of the leak in 5 minutes. I don't want to be too harsh here. Roofing is not an exact science. I talked to the owner, and I don't feel he was there to scam me. It's more incompetence than malfaisance. I seem to be the only one with this experience.

The original roof was installed when the house was built and had some bad hail damage causing a need for replacement. The new roof looks great as you can see in my attached pictures. It was priced right in my insurance's price range and installed in a single day! Even my neighbors were impressed by the completion speed and the final look. It rained a few days after the installation and I had no leaks or issues. One thing that I was most impressed with was the concern to detail and great cleanup. My back mini porch overhang had its roof replaced too which was unexpected and thoughtful. The other above and beyond thing I saw is that they actually talked to my neighbors if they saw them during the installation and explained what was going on. Miguel the roofing manager even explained to my neighbors if debris went over the fence they would gladly pick it up or the neighbors could just toss it on my side and the roofers would take care of it. Thinking of others was clearly present in every member of the Xtreme Roofing team. When I met the owner Frank he explained the insurance process and worked with me during the entire process. I was thinking I had to get the roof immediately after making a claim but Frank explained everything to me and it gave me time to save up and get the roof done we I had the funds. Frank also scheduled me at difficult time when rain was happening often but he checks that weather like a Hawk to ensure the roofing is done in optimal conditions if possible. Now that I have a roof that is going to last for a few decades I have one less worry in my life. I know if I need roofing work in the future or have a family member needing it, I'm going with Xtreme Roofing!

Giovanni was responsive, reliable, honest and fair. He was very transparent about his pricing. He came on-site to give me an estimate and started working on some of the smaller handyman jobs such as adding my cabinet and drawer handle pulls, swapping out my master bathroom shower head for a shower head with a wand. He also hung four paintings/artwork for me. He even repaired one of my drawers that were installed incorrectly. I didn't even know it but it was greatly appreciated. I plan to get more work done under him. Awaiting his quote for the bigger jobs such as living room TV wall, adding stone ledgers in my master bathroom windows, recessed lighting, landscaping and a paint job. He cleaned up after he was done and he even apologized for not having his own handheld vacuum cleaner to get a precise cleaning job after his work was completed. He diagnosed the issue, determined the supply line that needed replacement and went straight to work. He cleaned the interior to ensure no mold would form, removed the wet drywall that I missed, replaced it, and painted & finished. By the end of the evening, my wall was as good as new. I also researched pricing with my co-workers beforehand (who were in the construction industry and certified in Xactimate) and he was right within the ballpark on pricing for labor and material. I would definitely call him again for any handiwork needed as I felt comfortable from beginning to end.

I had an HVAC disaster that dumped gallons of water on my living room. Alan responded quickly and…read morehad a water mitigation team at my house within about 24 hours. They ran an industrial dehumidifier and cut out all of the wet components. And they did it shockingly cleanly, covering everything and making sure all debris was cleaned up after. That was the first service. Because I was impressed I also had them do the rebuild. Literally a third of my ceiling needed to be replaced. You have to look really hard, and know it's there, to tell where the wallboard was replaced. They even closely matched the ceiling pattern! The team was phenomenal, polite, friendly, helpful and skilled. An all around exceptional experience. Value was very good too. The final tally was in line with expectations and perfectly reasonable given the quality of work completed.
