It was still there when they had completed the wall is how I knew they didn't install it. Failed to insulate main water line in the attic like I ask. Excuse was it never drops below freezing here. One of the three shower controls doesn't work properly and they couldn't get it fixed. I've had three other plumbers look at it and they couldn't figure out what is wrong either other than it has to be how Five Oak ran the water lines in the walls. Told them I wanted the largest shower door possible. After they installed they said it could have easily been 4" longer. They did fix it but I probably had to pay for it cause we were on time and materials. Final billing included everything including numerous redos that they said they weren't going to charge me for. Since that time I have never heard anything good about this company and what I have heard from many people was all bad.

Instead of correcting the errors, it was made to seem that it was our fault. So the problems were left even though it was unsatisfactory. It seems this business has little interest in quality work.

My major dissatisfaction with this contractor was the bathroom remodel. From the beginning, we explained our design expectations with the owner. And since we still lived 1 1/2 hrs away, we came occasionally to view progress. But our details were not followed. And when we did question what was done, it was made to seem that we were responsible for the incorrect work being done. And that we would need to cover the costs to undo incorrect construction and build as we had made clear from the beginning !

The guys showed up right on time to measure and then the door was ready by end of next week. They came out to install, again, right on time, removed the old door, and installed new one in about 1 1/2 hour at most. The new door is beautiful and so functional. Recommended a structural engineer come out and do an inspection. Insurance company had me use one of their "preferred vendors" come out and do the inspection. Liz and Sergio came to the house while inspection was being done. They were correct and my home did have structural damage. They worked with insurance company's adjuster and came up with a supplement. Construction contract had been signed and they will begin work shortly.
