After a $100k remodel, we've had to spend thousands more correcting what Five Oak did wrong. Their electrician put 220V outlets in the kitchen which eventually fried the refrigerator and microwave. As the electrician who made the repairs said, "it's a miracle this place didn't burn down". Not to mention the cost of purchasing a new fridge and microwave. After mold started growing on the walls in the half bath, the plumber who opened up the walls had to replace much of the piping and move the toilet to a different wall. Apparently there were missing pieces and 4" pipes that connected to 2" pipes that should never have been connected, causing leaks in the walls. Not to mention the rest of the finishes that don't look finished. Poorly cut granite in the kitchen, loose outlets we've had to rescrew, and numerous other little repairs. I wouldn't hire this company to build a bird house. read more
