I was disappointed the prices went up and are now the same as Walmart, but the quality just seems so much better. They have specials throughout the year and I always take advantage of those. It was a Saterday and we were buying 2 boards as to R&R the bad ones (many others warped but not as bad). I told the MOD about them and before I could tell her how bad they were she said that boards will warp. Yep boards will warp, however do not think customers are a fool and do not know what normal warping is and what is so bad that it pull the hangers loose I wrote Corporate and got no respond. Then I called the office an the manager of the La Grange store then wrote me this email Hello Mr. *****. We did get your email about the 2x6x16 you had purchased. I am sorry and there may be some misunderstanding about this. When you talked to the ladies at the front desk they asked you when you bought the boards and you were not sure. The boards you brought in that day had no paint on the ends. All of our boards are color coded and have been for over 2 years. Our return policy is 30 days with receipt. We need proof of purchase in order to do a return or exchange and would have to be within the 30 day window. We try to help everyone we can with looking up receipts but we need the customers to offer more info. Being that you have no receipt or when the time of purchase and the boards do not have paint on the ends it may be possible they were purchased elsewhere. I buy from different places myself and I have made a mistake of thinking I bought from one place and it happen to be somewhere else. We would love to help but we need a proof of purchase. I can go over the 30 days but we have to make sure the boards were purchased here. Hope you understand. To pick up boards that long I have to hook up my 25 foot gooseneck, and I do not run all over the country with it. As for a receipt, itnever got that far. I have a bookkeeper that I send a scan of EVERY receipt to and can get a copy....Again it did not get past me being told that boards will warp and she did not let me tell her how bad they were warped..I was a fool for talking about warped boards. As for the boards having paint as marks ...Again it did not get that far...However they have paint on their ends (see photos) Again the MIC a AND the manager think people are fools. Just because they cannot remember where they buy things do not mean other are as ABSENTMINDED as they are I wrote back to S**** M****** making the points, and have not heard a word. So I call Corporate and got the runaround as well. Well Sutherlands did me as a customer wrong. Not so much about the boards and their cost , however the way they treated me as a customer. My guys cut the boards up to mak bracing and fire bolcks. I paid a premium for short boards ...Something I have by the 1000s. I have 1000s of shipping pallets that are made of 2x6 Douglas fir. They have seven 2x6x7'6" and eight 2x6x5'

Said they would call when the order was ready, they didn't. I called and went to pick the order up, get home and start noticing how grungy the wood was for it to have been milled only a couple days earlier. Come to notice stickers that say "Georgia Pacific Lattice 8' long 1/4" thick by 1.75" wide". I called to ask about it and she said she left the stickers on so I didn't think she was hiding anything from me, this was before I even said she was hiding anything from me, so if that's not a sure sign of a guilty conscience, I don't know what is. STILL CHARGED ME THE EXTRA $25 FOR MILL WORK. Basically charged me $25 for maybe 1-2 drops of a chop saw. SAD SAD SAD. Never again will I return for any business with them.

Here's my list of all their mess ups from my one and only order from this company. 1.Ripped me off in how much metal I ordered and paid for, shorted me about 100 running feet and shorted me 2 of the ridge caps I ordered. 2.Sent me the wrong valley metal color (and tried to blame it on me when it clearly was on the paper and didn't was a no brainer that the valleys needed to be the same color as the roof) 3.Sent me the wrong size drip edge. Sent me 4-1/2" when I needed 7-1/2" (When again this was on the paper) 4. Blatantly lied to my face trying to make this all my fault. (Even tried to lie about whom I brought in with me, they said I came in to order the metal by myself when I brought the homeowner with me to order.) 5.
