As the highest rated pest control business in the city, I had high expectations for their service…read morebased on their online reputation. Over the series of experiences I've had, it was strangely somewhere in the middle. The positive side was that they were incredibly responsive. The customer service is on point and the attitude of their management is definitely a class act. I have no doubt this is a major driver for their most positive reviews and deservedly so. The part where I struggle is the mixed experiences from the various technicians that had come to one of my properties that had an ant, cockroach, and spider problem. The initial $160 was a bit higher than I expected, but a small price that I was willing to pay to rid the property of creepy crawlers. Jason and Servando (sp) extremely brief in their initial run of the place. Even after their treatment, I still saw plenty of spider action where it was clear were not that thorough. After explaining my situation to their staff, they assigned the manager at the time, Daniel, to come back and apply treatment the way he intended. He went nuclear with a whole host of sprays and was extremely thorough both inside and out. His work made a world of difference and there was very little bug activity for close to a year. He was thorough in his explanaition and super transparent with his approach. If every experience was this thorough I think I'd be more receptive to future service. He has unfortunately left the company. Typically they recommend treatment 3 to 4 months. The subsequent visits after my initial concerns were not charged, which I'm thankful for but should not have taken that many times just to get the desired result. It was close to $250 for carpet ant treatment, which felt out of my budget but was assured that the chemicals would be different than the standard ones used for treatment. I was presented with a 30 and 60-day warranty which is fine but not something I elected to go for this past time around. While I'm sure they've done stellar work for other households and other properties, I do wish that I was able to experience the same magic on a consistent basis.

Orkin has to be one of the worst pest control companies I've ever hired…read more After paying them $97.43 monthly for termite control and $37.89 for pest control over $1,623 in a year I found dead termites scattered throughout my home. I called them for the first time. Their inspector walked around, said I didn't really have a termite problem, never lifted a single bait station off the ground, then quoted me $7,000 extra to treat the attic. If I don't have a problem, why quote seven grand for treatment? And if they did want to treat the attic, why did they refuse to do anything about the termites I found on my floors at ground level? Their guarantee was worthless. Total rip off.

I Would never recommend orkin to anyone. From the beginning they tried to sell us a $40,000 package…read morefor a rodent issue. Let me remind you we've only ever seen ONE MOUSE. No droppings. Nothing. The least expensive package they had was $650. So we took it so we could get rid of this mouse. They showed up the next day unannounced and set traps. They said they would return next week to check the traps. No one shows up. The next week after that comes. No one again. I called and they said there was a scheduling issue someone would be out that Thursday. Thursday comes nothing. Call again the next week (week 3) they said there was ANOTHER scheduling issue and someone would be out friday. I told them we wouldn't be home were are going out of town Thursday at 12. They insured me someone would be there first thing Thursday morning. Thursday comes and by 12 no one still had shown up. I call AGAIN and let them know this is the third week no one had shown up and I want a refund. They try and talk me into another service free of charge. I told them no I want my money we are done. The next week ( week 4 ) someone ranom shows up un announced AGAIN to check for traps AFTER I've already canceled and requested a refund. I call the office AGAIN and let them know someone was at my house and she said "no one should be there you aren't even on the schedule". ABSOLUTELY MIND BOGGLING. it has now been a month and we still have no refund. They keep telling us "higher ups have to approve it". My husband called this morning and someone from the national line answered and said our refund was issued may 21st. (The last day I spoke with them and was told it has to be approved by higher ups). Its now June 4th and it still hasn't hit out account and the traps haven't caught anything but dust. Save your time and sanity and use another pest control company because orkin is NOT IT.

If i could give 0 stars i would! I would not recommend this company to anyone. They scam people!…read moreCome to your door and scam. Had a guy come to our door told us we could do a ONE TIME SERVICE!!! He sent a guy out a few days later that was in August. It's September and i'm getting charged for a service we didn't even receive nor asked for. $58.46 we were charged. Called the billing people, Rude guy! Told us we had to pay a $200 cancellation fee!! Like are we joking rn? I'm flabbergasted cause why tf are you trying to charge me a cancellation fee on something i only agreed to ONE TIME SERVICE??? And then charge me for a second service i didn't even receive. SO basically the billing guy told us we had Two options either pay the $200 cancellation fee or set up an appointment for someone to come out and do the service and not get refunded our money! So it's a scam don't agree to the service or sales person. This company is a joke.

This time of year, it's common to come across ants, roaches, and spiders, all of which we wanted...well, outside of the home by the time we moved in. I went with TruForce for two reasons. 1. The competitive pricing, and 2. The responsiveness and professionalism of the team. Request-a-quote on Yelp is thus far 3/3 for me. As others mentioned, these folks are responsive, polite, prompt, and professional. I needed assistance within a few days, and they were on it. From request a quote, to a quick phone convo, booking online, a courtesy call before arrival, and a quick educational termite prevention and extermination servicing, this team has a way of making extermination quick and painless. Jaden handled our termite prevention installation and Steven handled our extermination services. I'd recommend both. Fast forward 6 months, would still recommend!
