I couldnt hear him correctly and asked him about 10 times to repeat himself because all I saw was a random stranger holding his throat trying speaking words i couldnt understand. I didnt know he was an employee until after I understood him yet he still threatened to call the cops on me. Hes obviously stressed out but this was my worst experience after 5-6 years religiously coming to this store. He probably doesnt have to trauma dump that he has cancer after i told him i dont understand him he just turned red and started yelling at me louder... as best as he could . Sucks he has cancer but you cant treat customers like that especially if you can barely talk and without a uniform. Definitely needs to stay out of customer service if he cant talk.

It's a good convenience store option for those living in the area, college students at nearby Calhoun Community College, Research Park employees, and Bridge Street shoppers.

A few months later none of the printers at any of the pumps worked which annoyed my husband greatly. The manager knew the grumpy guy standing in line was there to get a copy of his receipt. Many months go by, more like 6-7, we stop by and the printer at the pump printed a receipt. He almost did a happy dance. They found someone to fix the printing problem..we hope! The printers have worked the past 3 visits. Hubs was looking for Abita beer called Alpha Gator. The store clerk was able to locate it. Another near happy dance moment. If you are in need of gas, the outdoor printers work here. They also sell craft beers and today is $6 pepperoni pizza day.

Thats *bitterness*. all she had to do was walk 15 - 20 ft & take ONE btl of Dasani back to the cooler. Thats sheer laziness.. Their marketing is too notch, I don't think it's possible to walk out of there without some sort of souvenir. It's well lit. They have Buc-ee's children's books, Buc-ee's swimsuits, Buc-ee's everything. I walked out with an assortment box of fudge, cotton candy-watermelon,strawberry banana, and regular. Watermelon one taste like it was made with the baby bottle pop watermelon dip power-amazing. The strawberry banana actually tasted like individual flavors coming together the banana flavor imitated the banana laffy taffy I was impressed, and they were like only $2. They have rock candy suckers here! You don't see those everywhere, they feel like a cannon event. I noticed they have a huge deli Jekry style. A whole bakery fudge style. And the people that work there in cowboy hats which I thought was really cute. Was it worth the hype? Sure. Be prepared to spend at least an hour on your port break during a road trip. The view at the pump is beautiful as are most views in Tennessee. Saw some things I've never seen before even in the checkout line, energy packs that look like zyns. This is my first and possibly last Bucee's experience…read more Outside: YES--Cheapest gas--a full $0.70 cheaper than any other stations along the highway!!! That alone was worth the stop, but the rest of the experience was less than expected. By the pumps, there are no windshield washer squeegees anywhere, so you cannot clean the bugs off of your windshield. The pay-at-the-pump interface was frustrating. It would not accept my Discover card. I used my Visa, and it locked into selling me only 15 gallons. The only great part of the refueling experience was the price and the zero wait for a pump because they have so many of them. Also, this location has a car wash, and the purchase option was imbedded in the gas purchase--I didn't want it, but accidentally got it. I guess that would be one way to clean the windows, but be aware as you're trying to buy gas. Inside: The inside is huge. It's like someone took a Walmart and placed restrooms and food kiosks in the center of it. The women's bathroom was awesomely clean. It's huge with individual doored stall-rooms along the walls with green (open) and red (busy) lights above the door, so you can quickly find a stall that's open. The entire center of the bathroom is full of sinks/soap/paper towels. It was spotlessly clean and the highlight of the whole experience. Food: Having seen another Yelp review, we got 2 XXL BBQ Brisket sandwiches and Buc-ee's chips and 2 $0.99 fountain drinks. We also picked up a small bag of chocolate covered pretzels. That lunch cost us $41, and there was nowhere to sit to eat it. The expectation is that you go back out to your car to eat. After being in the car for 6 hours, I didn't want to eat in the car, so we found a lamppost in the shade that we used as a "table" and stood to eat. Service: Everyone working at this location was helpful and friendly, so the service is great. Recommendation: If you are looking for a clean bathroom and cheaper gas--this is an awesome place to stop!! Of course, the cheaper gas price is how they draw you in, then they make up the loss in inside sales, especially food. There are many food choices, which is also good, as long as you intend to eat in the car. If you get the BBQ sandwich, I would get the one without the sauce.
