They were calm, fun and really patient. My daughter had a great experience and was asking on the way home when she can go back. Goal accomplished! What I also liked was the more conservative approach: No x-rays for this age. Just digital pictures which won't harm. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the actual office is very clean and solid but not necessarily up to the newest technologies.

They made me feel comfortable right away, which helped calm my nerves before surgery. The procedure itself went very smoothly. Dr. Genutis has excellent bedside manners (he's patient, kind, and genuinely attentive). You can tell he truly cares about his patients. I had two regular erupted wisdom teeth, one partially impacted tooth, and one bony impaction, so it wasn't a simple case. Even when I had a small complication afterward (my stitches kept popping and I needed an emergency cauterization), he handled it quickly and with great care. I still remember being nervous before the surgery, and Dr. Genutis asked, "I like your pajamas. What's the pattern on them?" (They were Star Wars!) That small moment helped me relax before going under, and before I knew it, I was out like a light. If you need your wisdom teeth removed, I can't recommend Dr. Genutis enough. He's professional, compassionate, and truly one of the best oral surgeons out there.

EVERY staff member was extremely welcoming and personable. My hygienist was super sweet, engaged in fun conversation, and was very gentle with the cleaning (a nice change from my previous dentist office haha). I feel really lucky to have found such an awesome dentist so close to home! Second Street is location in the perfect spot in downtown St. Charles. I have had nothing but pleasant and easy cleanings. When I have needed to get cavities filled the team has ensured I am comfortable and not in pain. They even provide dental cleanings for young kids. I have 2 kids (5 and almost 3) who have gone and the team does really well with them to try and keep them entertained (put on a show while they are cleaning) as well as incentivize them with prizes afterwards.

Please note I would give more then 2 stars for the doctors themselves, they were great for what I…read moregot done, but the terrible service I've dealt with just from reception and thats why this review is only 2 stars. I moved to the area a year ago and needed to get my wisdom teeth taken out. So I researched and seen all the locations are not far from my house. I've seen some positive reviews on here and on their website so I decided to try them out. The 2 doctors I've seen were very nice. When I went in for a consultation I met with Dr. Adams and he was very polite and told me how they would extract my teeth. 2 weeks later I went in for the 2 wisdom teeth and I met Dr. Brar, he was really nice and the nurse who was with me that day was also very nice, I don't remember her name. The procedure itself didn't take very long at all, and my mouth is very small so one side was much much harder then the other and I have to give it to Dr. Brar that he did not get frustrated and calmly told me what was going on the whole time. It was a successful procedure in the end, except part of a filling I had on the tooth in front of the wisdom tooth fell off and he told me that it looked decayed and that I needed a crown put on it. When I went in to get my stiches removed, they were very pushy about setting up a time to get that crown done which I didn't like. When I went to my regular dentist for his opinion he said I would not need a crown put on it and that I could just get it re-filled. So I saved a lot of money by getting his opinion. I got this procedure done in October 2015 and before I left that day they gave me some random amount to pay for the procedure. So I did that and she said the paperwork would be put through to my insurance. Well half way through November I received a bill for the full amount of the procedure when it still has not gone through my insurance. I called and asked about it and a lady told me not to worry about the bill and that they were putting it through insurance that week. It is now the end of December and I have received yet another bill with late fees and the full amount being charged AGAIN. It still has not gone through my insurance and when I called today she said they had a glitch and that she was putting it through insurance today. It just seems like they don't know what their doing at the reception desk, and its frustrating when you know you have an outstanding bill hanging over your head. Update 6/29/16: they didnt bill my insurance until February after calling them multiple times! Luckily I have good insurance and only had to pay $201.95 out of pocket for a $1,500 procedure. Now the kicker is they owe me $98.05 because I paid them $300 the day I got the procedure done but still have not gotten that back..
