Their service and bedside manners are excellent. I'm always informed of my state of dental health and collaborative approach to treatment plans. Very happy with their practice. 11/1/2022 This practice under Dr. Meera is excellent. So good that now that I am switching to Medicare I am making sure the plan that I get have them as approved providers. If I could not be covered through my plan I would pay cash, that is how fantastic they are. 8/23/2022 You might think that I'm part of Sunshine Family Dental staff, related to a staff member, or perhaps I get paid ... No, I'm a client, a very satisfied client who appreciates good service, specially as I'm getting older and dental issues could get bad. So far so good. Cleaning regularly prevents problem and my dental hygienist does a great job while being kind and very nice. The whole staff is professional, delightful, and very helpful. I'm glad I found Dr. Meera 5?years ago. 5/18/2022 Another good visit to the dentist. I am always in good hands here. Dr. Meera and her staff always charming and personal. The front desk staff makes you feel comfortable immediately when you walk in the door. Everything was on time and is an extremely professionally run office. The best dental care I have experienced in years! My insurance does not cover 100% of their service, Eve though is a PPO, so I'm cancelling my insurance because I do not want to change dentists. I wrote several reviews in the past and I keep finding Dr. Meera to be excellent at her trade, kind, gentle, and has a nice smile. Always keeping an eye to prevent my dental issues. I love that they took the time that were closed, due to COVID, to remodel and expand - smooth transition and good protective procedures in place, for staff and clients, as they resume business. I have seen Dr. Blackman and staff for years for all of my dental needs, cleanings, fillings - even the heavier stuff like root canals, crowns, and oral surgery (Dr. Smulson comes in for wisdom teeth removal and heavy oral surgery) back in 2006. Just this past week, I have had a cleaning and three days later, 3 fillings done by Dr. Blackman and his assistants. This past week alone, my experiences couldn't be more pleasing! From the moment I walked in the office (I was actually several minutes early BOTH TIMES), the desk staff was very friendly, and told me Dr. Blackman would be right with me. Literally not more than "2" minutes after I sat down, one of the hygienists was ready for me. This is very incredible - especially in many doctor's offices (and I have been to many with my bad migraine condition) where you have to "wait and wait and wait" in the waiting room, then in the doctor's room, and so on. A+ for this. The procedures on my cleaning and then fillings a few days later BOTH started immediately - i.e. no 'waiting another 15 minutes' (like I described above at other doctors offices, as is usually customary). I was very pleased. I was a bit worried about the novocaine shots - sometimes they can hurt (depending on where certain nerves may be in the gum line) - this time they were not bad at all and Dr. Blackman was very gentle about the procedure, and the hygienist was very nice and comforting at that moment and during the entire procedure in fact. For the entire almost 2 hours, I was mostly very comfortable - both Dr. Blackman and the hygienist were very accomodating, friendly, and talkative throughout everything - which made the procedure that much easier! Dr. Blackman and staff are very thorough with everything and another BIG PLUS - I must mention - is that him and his staff will work with you with small payment plans if you need for any periods of time. My insurance recently changed and I am 'in between' carriers, and I did not want to switch dentists because I am so used to going to Blackman & Bliss and like them so much - so his staff was very happy to let me do my own payment plans with them - they are very flexible with everything if you are just open and honest with them and talk to them about your situation - Heather and all of the others are very friendly, thorough, and will answer all of your emails! I was VERY PLEASED with my services with Dr. Blackman and his staff this past week and my family and I have been throughout the many years - and would without a DOUBT recommend him and his firm for any kind of dental needs! 5 stars! Another was so strung out on caffeine, I swear I never saw him blinked. So when I found CS Dental Associates many years ago, I never wanted to go anywhere else. I even commuted in to see my dentist when I lived in downtown Chicago. They have several dentists working here, and I actually saw a few of them for various reasons (maternity leave, vacation, etc.) I was nervous every time they made an appointment for me with a new dentist, but they have all been great. They give me the play by play while they're working in my mouth, which helps me stay calmed and informed. In the recent couple of years, they were able to assign me a regular dentist. This is nice since he knows my history and I am comfortable with him. The staff is friendly, the office is clean, and there's a TV in the waiting room. It's conveniently located a few doors down from Jewel, so I can get my grocery shopping done at the same time. Hooray to efficiency!
