I understand the employees are busy, and that it's a pawn shop, but the last two times I've been there, no one was in the shop and the two guys there weren't on the phone and didn't even acknowledge me when I walked in. One guy by the front kind of gave me a weird look and didn't even say hello. I don't need some jolly fellow to loudly greet me and talk my ear off. But a simple acknowledgment that I'm there and a quick "Hey, welcome to our shop, let me know if I can answer any questions" goes a long way. Cool shop, bad customer service.

The owner (I assume) is very knowledgeable and so friendly! I didn't bring any earmuffs with me to Denver, so I ended up buying one of the handmade (in Nepal) fleece-lined wool beanie animal hats. I do not wear hats, but I was desperate. It is the warmest hat I've ever worn, AND the fleece lining does not flatten my curls!! I got the lion beanie and want to wear it everywhere I go because it (mainly the lion's mane) brings me such joy. I can't tell whether the animal beanies are intended for children or not, but they fit adult heads -- the ear flaps (with attached tails!) make the beanie a bit wide so it doesn't totally ruin your hair day. I also bought a rastafarian animal beanie for my parents back in KC. I'm making my boyfriend go to the store with me once more before we leave Denver so I can buy at least five more beanies. They are truly so soft and warm (and less than $20!). I want one to go with every coat, and I'm going to get a few for my friends -- they may think they look a bit childish, but they won't care once they wear them.

So many people enjoying music and playing instruments. The selection of guitars and amps was off the hook. Drums, sheet music, accessories and everything in between. They even have areas for instrument repair and music lessons. Everyone seemed like they were happy and really enjoying being in the store. It's clearly a place people like to hang out. A social center of sorts. I liked the fact they had armed security in the parking lot and inside the front door. There simply can't be too much security these days. The parking lot was simple and wee maintained. The staff was friendly bordering on perky. Thumbs up for Guitar Center.

The drum selection from sets, cymbals (especially cymbals), sticks, etc are the best here. They also have an isolated drum room with a sick DW kit with a bunch of cymbals. Please be mindful of others though when playing the kit in there and don't be obnoxious/play for a long period non stop especially if others are clearly trying to play. The icing on the cake is Jacob who is super knowledgeable about all things drums and will make sure to take care of you. I would drive out of my way just to buy from him.

They pointed us to Keyboard Carriers. I scheduled it. They just came and picked it up. Killer job. 3 guys, knew exactly what they were doing, I was the 5th one they moved today. They are complete experts. I couldn't be happier with how the treated the piano, their knowledge of what they were doing and how they moved it and put it on the van. Their documentation of the piano condition too was great so we can make sure it come back in the same condition that they took it. They will have it for a couple weeks. Will repost when I get it back.

They are presently storing my piano. I am so grateful for this company. They are reliable, they have great movers and I have never had any problems or damage. Teresa who always answers the phone is so competent. The moving crews have been 100% careful and respectful. Both in packing up the piano for moving and unpacking it and setting it up, they have done an admirable job. All movers have been great, Afi stands out especially. If you need to move or store your piano, based on my 10 year history with them, I can recommend them 100%.

I had originally discovered this company years ago and formed a outstanding relationship with the owner, Gordon. I drove over there the other day because I definitely wanted to give Gordon's cause a donation. Gordon does this thing which is called "Guitars for our Troops". He sends out Guitar's to people in the military that are at war, want to learn how to play guitar or some even have PTSD and finding a way thru music helps calm the nerves and chases out some of those demons. Gordon ended up buying his own building and moved to this larger place a couple years ago. As I visit often, I just love to go in and talk to Gordon and see all the instruments although I play none. I went the other day and was very happy to see JP who sometimes works out of there, he does private guitar lessons and was my daughters first and only guitar instructor. Gordon is working towards turning this amazing building into an instrument Museum, I know he will get it done. Our family had decided to donate our old Victrola that has been in the family for years.
