Talk about customer service, passion, enthusiasm, genuinely nice people and fantastic gifts! Tweak has it all and gives it 110%! I was in-need of a get well & be happy gift for a child at Cedar Sinai. Scored out at the hospital gift shop and fortunately stumbled across Tweak. Not only did Tara (the owner) take my order over the phone, wrap, and deliver the gifts to Cedar's she also customized a perfect gift package for the situation and her whole staff got in on shopping around the store and hand-picking the perfect gift. Tweak is a must for any and all gift giving needs - hostess gift, get well, birthday, baby shower, housewarming, just because, any holiday, any age - babies to seniors, you will be able to find something and know that you are supporting a local business while doing so. And the prices are totally reasonable! One of the stores Mission Statements or "Tweakisms": "None of us actually need anything. However, we do believe in items that enhance our lives. They must be purposeful, convenient, educational or downright fun." - That makes sense to me! Another one of their "Tweakisms": "Customers should leave better for having spent some time with us." - Even over the phone I feel like they accomplished this! Thank you Tweak Team for being AMAZING! read more

I walked into this quaint little gift store with low expectations, but once I took a closer look at the amazing items they had to offer on their shelves I realized I had hit the jackpot. Tweak carries an eclectic mix of quirky toys, books and presents from detachable nunchuck notebooks to luchador bottle openers and everything in between. But the star of the show is Tara, the awesome store owner who's uncanny ability to always find something that you need is only topped by her personable and shining personality. Go and take a look, play around, if you don't end up buying anything you still will walk out of Tweak a winner just from the unique experience. Tip: don't use technology while touching the items, the two don't mix :) read more

This place is amazing, we lived in los Angeles for 2 months and found this gift shop on yelp along with a few others. I got birthday, and baby gifts which are 1 of a kind. They are a little expensive but well worth it. The employees are also extremely helpful and very nice. Do yourself a favor and stop in, look around you might just make a purchase:) read more

Ever need a gift/card/pick-me-up and not know exactly what to get? GO TO TWEAK. Not only do they have everything you'd ever want under the sun, but their collection is so incredibly well curated and of such outstanding quality that you will never leave disappointed. Something I love about them also is how fair their prices are; you will never have to compromise on a gift based on price if you shop at Tweak. Tara is an intuitive, wonderful businesswoman and I love everything she carries! Plus they provide some of the most beautiful wrapping I've seen ANYWHERE! Service is helpful and you can go there every day and always find something surprising and delightful! One of my all-time favorite stores. I just wish they had a clothing pop-up next door... read more

Tweak is such a gem! I went by Beverly Hills Juice for a smoothie and stopped in next door to browse because of the bright yellow logo. Such a cute store - a great selection of GOOD toys and gifts. A very unique selection and the best part is everything is wrapped. The owner, Tara, was working in her store and was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. She was super nice to me even though I was just browsing and took time with every customer in the store to make a recommendation. This "little store" has a big heart...I'll definitely be coming back anytime I need the perfect present. read more

Tara's super kind and has a vibrant personality. Her staff are a reflection of her and the gifts at TWEAK are one of a kind!

Best cards. ever. Almost didn't want to share my love for this hidden gem at risk of people getting to the new cards before I do ;) but couldn't resist because the owner is awesome and this place is one of a kind! read more

Great place to find unusual gifts for everyone. The merchandise is extremely well curated and it is really fun to browse around. Gifts are also beautifully wrapped. read more

The retail selection is pretty cool & considering it is right by Cedars and also has pre-wrapped gifts is a huge plus if your pressed for time en route to the hospital! Unfortunately the one salesperson there was evidently having a really bad day which halted the purchases I *desperately* wanted to make. Of course it was hard given the 100's of really rad letter pressed greeting cards and countless fun things for my toddler. I did not once hear her say hello to ANYBODY in the shop! Not only that, but she couldn't even smile! it was about 2:45pm- so it wasn't like I was interfering with her closing duties or something. In fact she looked like she was about to shoot someone until she got a surprise visit from someone claiming to be a "friend" of hers. She has a very cute store, which is why I'm glad she has a lot of friends that can give her good yelp reviews (which seems to be the case here) but I'm on my way home and plan to spend that money that I was going to give her- and buy letter pressed cards & something for my toddler on Etsy! I think she should think about "tweak" ing her sales practices! read more

Tweak is a special place where you will find lovely things you didn't know you wished for and there they are. It's so much fun. A gift for someone else must be accompanied by a little something for yourself. It's that kind of a place. Treat yourself to Tweak. It will make you happy. read more

I love this place! Wether you're in a rush or just want to get inspired, there's something for everyone here! The owner (or perhaps the lady who helped me) is so lovely and full of great ideas - NOT pushy and doesn't make you feel obligated to buy anything - just there to be helpful. Love this store! Perfect!! read more

The lady was helpful then flipped tp be very rude over a joke. Look up the stuff on Amazon, it will save you 50% and a store trip.

This place is AWESOME. I've been here for children's bday gifts on two separate occasions and each time, I felt as if I'd hit the bulls-eye. Books, toys, and curios, galore. (Bear in mind, however, that the gifts on hand are best suited for kids five and under. I was there the other day looking for something for a 9-yr-old boy and had a more difficult time.) They also appear to have a similarly impressive range of gifts for sophisticated grown-ups. The best part is that each and every item is pre-wrapped in really charming, modern gift wrap. That's genuine value for someone like me who always seems to be in a rush and who also wasn't blessed with the "craft/creative" gene. Finally, may I add to all the discrete Dads out there: The woman who works behind the counter on the weekends -- I don't recall her name, but she's a brunette -- is an absolute doll. She is so incredibly helpful, upbeat, and smart. She's also gorgeous and that's not a bad thing, either! Hahaha! read more

Such a great shop with awesome people! They have every kind of gift for every occasion, and they will pay attention to your gift-giving budget. Plus, anything you buy is already pre-wrapped. I'm looking forward to my next visit! read more

Tara, Pam, and Erica saved me big time! I called all around town because I needed 60 presents wrapped in one day, and Tara was the only one to take on the job. She opened her shop 2 hours early ONLY for me and gave me a competitive price to do it! The results? She did an amazing job and finished it all that morning. Besides the shop being great and filled with all the best throwback gifts you could imagine for infants to adults, she makes you feel so at home there like you've known her for years. More than just a shop, I recommend it highly. read more

Tweakwas like a magnet to me. I walked in and I couldn't leave. Not only are the gift items incredibly different and creative, I love the owner and her help. She truly listened to my needs in gift purchasing and offered the most amazing suggestions. The variety of games are incredible and she took the time to explain how to play them. Now where would I ever encounter that? I will go to Tweak for all my future gifts, especially for those people who I struggle with what to give. Her merchandise is so unique. The trick is to figure out how to leave the store as everything catches my eye. I musn't forget to mention her incredibly creative gift cards. What a joy to shop in this store! read more

Great store... with a lot of interesting and unusual items. Some great books and cards as well as quirky items. Staff is great.

Love this place. The owner has genuine enthusiasm for what she does and anybody I've met working there has a similar vibe--it's work, but they enjoy making it work for you. The prices are reasonable, the gifts are wrapped (which is a biggie for me). You can run in and buy a present on the run and it's already wrapped! And I dig their taste. They're cool and classy, but don't mind whimsy and campy. They've got stuff for different ages and sensibilities. It's a smart and genuinely fun place to shop. read more
