Not sure how other reviewers gave this place 4 or 5 stars. This is not the place for online purchases. Zero customer service--despite providing a phone number, they don't answer calls. I bought a Samovar, used it twice, and on the second use, the glass water reservoir cracked while boiling water. I reached out multiple times via email and phone--no response. Now, I'm stuck with a leaking, unusable Samovar. Total waste of time and money. Avoid this place! read more

Great little neighborhood Judaica shop- don't let the size fool you, they have an excellent and extensive selection of items. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable, and they have a great website. You can place an order online for store pickup, or check to see if there's something you're looking for before you go to the store to see/buy in person (I do this a lot). The last time I was in the store the owner recommended oil cups for Chanukah, I didn't think they'd fit in my menorah so I brought it in to check before buying, I was wrong, they fit perfectly! I had a horrible experience with Marigold and would not recommend buying from this place online. I placed an order over a week ago and although I did received an order confirmation, I never received the item. I sent an email and text message as well as called, but when I finally reach somebody they told me that the items I ordered was out of stock. While the credit memo was issued almost immediately, I never received my refund. I am disputing this with PayPal. I'm still waiting for my refund. This is unprofessional and I will not be buying from this place again. read more

Our wedding glass mezuzah just arrived and it looks beautiful. We're disappointed it took so long due to Covid related delays (around nine months) and wish the communication had been more frequent and better, but the product looks great and ultimately Marigold House delivered. Well it's a good thing it's next door to Muchies otherwise I would've never found Marigold's! They need a bigger sign...with some neon lights...or a dancing marigold out front! Anything so I don't circle the block 3 times looking for this place! I stopped in looking for a tea set, possibly even a tea pot as well. I was pleased to find they had a nice selection. I wasn't greeted at first when I walked in, but when I had a question the woman got up to help me and she was extremely nice & helpful. They also had other kitchen items, coffee mugs, pots, candles, and small kitchen appliances. The $5 and under shelf near the front entrance was very tempting! There was a ceramic non-stick deep pot that was calling my name! It was only $5 why the hell didn't I just get it?!?! Being that its in a Jewish neighborhood there were some very beautiful cultural items as well. The menorahs were some of the nicest ones I've seen! And I couldn't help but envision yummy Persian rice and kebabs on the gorgeous serving platters they had on display. I didn't get my tea set because I feel like they had more options on their website, and perhaps I'd see something there I'd prefer instead. I happened to pass by this place via a recommendation that they had a nice assortment of Samovars, from stove -top to electric. Upon finding this place, they had exactly what I was looking for, at a very reasonable price. They also have everything you could ever want/need for a home & kitchen situation. Even if you don't keep Kosher, you can use everything there. When I return, they have a Persian style BBQ (think Kufta grill without the holders for the blades), rice cookers, electric kettles, knifes, copper-bottom pots and pans, glassware; they have something that everyone can afford. They even have this amazing French Silver cake knife, the weight was flawless, and the look, goodness! IF you need something for yourself, or a gift, you can't go wrong with this place, just west of Pico and Robertson (on Pico), ample street parking, and as I write this article, I'm sipping tea from my newly purchased electric Samovar. read more

Do NOT shop from this store! Terrible service and bad attitude. I ordered three pans for about $90 in early January online and didn't receive the items. I called back, the owner said it will be shipped in two weeks. It didn't happen. I called several times and each time she said they will ship the items in a couple of days. I am a busy professional and just following up on this order was so frustrating! Finally, three months later, the owner admitted that there was a glitch with their computer and the items were never shipped to me! She said two of the items are out of stock and issued a refund but not after being extremely rude and while screaming she blamed me for being upset and she insulted my ethnicity origin. The owner said all people from my national origin have attitude!! Can you believe this customer service from a business owner?! We all know, It is illegal discrimination, if a person or a company intentionally insults you based on your race, ethnicity, or national origin. In summary, avoid this company and it's rude owner. I had bought a two fancy Mulex Samavars from another retailer... both had issues with their spigots, which had to be replaced. I looked around online for the part, and it was not available. On a lark, I decided to call Marigold, who had not sold me the product, but came up as a retailer that carried Mulex products. I told them my problem, and asked if they could help me get the required parts, even though I'd not purchased the product from them. The customer service rep was incredibly helpful and said she'd absolutely help me, and it didn't matter that we didn't buy the product from Marigold. She proceeded to resolve the issue quickly and I had two replacement spigots quickly. I wholeheartedly recommend Marigold. read more
