Upon speaking with Anthony over the phone, he was able to sort out what he could do for me. I was priced at $296 for a flatbed towing truck and asked Anthony to drop me off at a location 17 miles away. Initially I was willing to pay for his service ahead of time but Anthony preferred I paid him in person, which is perfectly fine with. The day of service, Anthony communicated well by informing me when his previous job would end and when he would be arriving. Something I was pleasantly surprised by. After my car was hooked up to the truck, our 17 mile trek began. The drive was smooth and safe as he made careful driving decisions. All the while, we held nice conversations throughout the commute about one other's lives. Unfortunately, the location I was dropped off at did not have good cellular service so I had to pay Anthony a few hours later. He accepted Zelle payments so make sure you have service where you're being dropped off at to avoid my audition. I am the fool who had not yet purchased my own spare tire, so after calling their useless roadside assistance line, I decided to utilize AAA. My beloved, reliable AAA. S & J was dispatched and after a while, an angel appeared. That's how it felt, at least, because the truck's headlights were shining behind him and it felt very godly in the moment. Anyway, my girlfriend and I were so exhausted and Rafael towed us 45 minutes home. For a tow truck, it was actually pretty comfy, which is VERY MUCH not what I experienced last time I had to ride in a tow truck. Rafael was really kind and very friendly and nice to chat with! As soon as I got in the car with the other driver from the day before, we found FRIES SPILLED ON MY CENTER CONSOLE. We cleaned it up right away and brushed it off *Issue #2: I noticed my car started acting funny that evening. When I turned on the car, it was fine though when I let go of the brakes, it jumps. I then drove to a stop sign, stopped, but when I pressed the gas it jumped again. We looked under the car and noticed that I truly believe that SOMEONE AT S&J TOWING LOOSENED OUR MOTOR MOUNT NAILS! WHY? Because there was nothing wrong with our car before it was towed to their location in POMONA. I have looked up reviews on S&J TOWING and there is a pattern on customer complaints and possible unauthorized vehicle tampering, willful misconduct, or malicious damage.
