We parked briefly while ordering drinks, and before we could even finish our order, someone came in to warn us that multiple cars outside were actively being towed. The signage situation is completely misleading. From where we parked, there were only two small signs meant to represent the entire backside wall of the apartment building. We did not park directly under a sign.
We were later told that there used to be a sign under every parking spot stating "no parking," but those signs were removed. They also claimed there was a sign at the entrance to Summerfield, but that sign is not a legitimate or visible warning. It's bent halfway backward, nearly unreadable to incoming cars, and despite claiming to provide contact information in case of towing, it lists none. When confronted about all of this, I could tell the worker felt ashamed because they couldn't give me a direct and straight answer, unable to make eye contact with me while communicating and just darting their eyes around because they knew what they were doing was wrong, purposefully targeting people who were unaware, they were straight spawn camping us.
If a business can't afford to install clear, visible, and properly placed signage, they shouldn't be towing vehicles. This felt less like enforcement and more like predatory behavior. We were forced to pay $730 just to have the car dropped on the spot, which is outrageous, unacceptable, and straight theft.
We also witnessed their carelessness with other cars. When they would unhook the car, they dropped it from so high that a loud bang sound could be heard, which could very well inflict damage on the cars.
