Four Tesla superchargers, one handicap Tesla supercharger. Needles is not the nicest place to stop but when you gotta do it, you gotta do it and this one works great! Supercharger was quick and I was able to choose from different places to have lunch. I chose Carl's Jr., which was very slow, but it didn't it worked. I would recommend the Stop. read more

If you are heading east in a Tesla with a standard range battery, you're going to have to make a stop here even for a quick charge just to get you over to Kingman. There are only 4 charging stalls at this location. 1 stall is shared with general handicap parking. It's located right next to the Shell gas station that sells very expensive gasoline, but they also sell decently priced snacks and drinks. There's both a Dairy Queen and a Subway inside this Shell station, so you don't have to go very far to buy a meal, a snack, or a treat while you wait for the car to finish charging. This is also a truck stop, so sometimes those big rigs will get in the way of you pulling in and out of those charging stalls. read more

Worst charging experience ever. Arizona Sign Company blocked 3 out of 4 chargers here most of the day to work on the sign. Owner wouldn't take any responsibility for wasting the food in my fridge, my missing my campground reservation or ruining my cross country road trip. There is usually a wait here, but the line is ridiculous. There's a huge parking lot, but the chargers are stuck in the highest traffic area. Why not block the gas tanks? read more

Definitely made our last driving stretch a breeze. *my Tesla map said that the charging station was closed for some reason? Twelve fast Superchargers here. You'll need 'em because Needless is a long way from anywhere. Located alongside a dying strip mall. The Rite Aid closed recently leaving a huge empty storefront. Closest food is a Dominos in the same strip mall. Jim read more

Had to make a stop on way from Grand Canyon to Palm Springs for mobile phone connection (HW40 is spotty for mobile connectivity). Only 4 chargers that I can see right next to a Mobil and Subways including a large truck stop and railway. No complaints here as the speed started at 240 m/h with convenience of drinks snacks and sandwiches. read more

4 stalls total, the first one closest to the street is for handicap also. Says 150kw, but sure isn't doing all that well averaging 63? Either way, I almost didn't make it. Warning sign cane in several times to keep it under 85 to make it to destination. The other 2 stalls are "hiding". Just drive in more where all the other truckers are resting. At first I didn't see it but they are there! Wish they had the free WiFi password posted. Just don't want to get out of the car! read more

Area is a little sketchy, so I wouldn't recommend wandering too far when the sun goes down. There's a lot of semi trucks and people hanging around so I can see on busy days it may be a bit of a pain to get in out of a spot . The gas station store was nice, refilled on snacks and got a blizzard from Dairy Queen. The workers were really nice , too. read more

Sketchy looking area we were coming west on the highway and it gave me some crazy directions leading into a super bad area. Then it corrected itself after we were already down in some kind of a torn up old subdivision. The superchargers were located next to an alley numerous truckers use. So you get to breathe lots of diesel fumes while you wait. The adjacent convenience store is open 24 hours, so restrooms are always available. read more

Super sketchy and the homeless know to target the Tesla owners and travelers pumping gas. We were met with a homeless guy with a huge rock in his hand and then he began pounding on our window with his other hand. My husband is the nicer of us two and I nearly went karawack on the homeless guy. I think I made my point. Good thing I didn't have to get out of the car. I was pissed. This location needs to do more to ensure the homeless take a damn hike! I'd avoid after dusk. read more

I went to the Tesla Supercharger in Needles, CA on 2/3/2017. It was my 1st time there. Nice location just off the main highway. Had no problem charging my red Tesla, just wish they had more bays at this location. Right next to the Dairy Queen. Plus, I took a photo. read more
