When it got close to the event the dealership was wondering if I was coming to ride their beautiful area. With the time already off I loaded up the bike last minute and took a long slow ride to Lexington. The next day I went to the dealership to get mine standard gear a shirt and some chips. I was greeted by the staff. At the front desk was Laura who provided me with ride maps for the area. From there to the service desk and purchased hardware. Cameron found what I needed and sent me on my way. Finally it was shirts and poker chips where Katrina help me find the shirt with the dealership logo I wanted. Hopefully Harley Davidson is willing to give them a chance next year to host the rally. If not me and my pals will be spending our week in Lexington. Hopefully the bourbon distilleries will be having tours. If not riding the Eye of the Dragon and some of the other rides planned by The dealership will make our visit worth it. This is what a dealership should feel like when you enter their establishment. I wasn't buying a bike or spend big money on gear or upgrades. But I was made to feel like I'm a their most important customer while they are waiting on me.

Its been cold so I haven't gotten to ride it really. It is now a couple weeks later, and I went for a ride yesterday. It was 70 degrees and lovely. It spun a rod bearing and something in the valve train broke as well. They said they had changed the oil and everything looked great. It sounded okay when I bought it as well. Ive put a couple hundred miles on the bike in the couple times I rode it. Bought at 33k miles and blew at 33k miles. I got ahold of my salesman and they said they could possibly work with me on a repair. Ill find out more on monday. The Indy stores still have closed food service. A couple of Halloween items were already out on display. We found a round folding chair with soft velvety material for $40. And a Members Mark shredder with the attached trash can for $60. I thought these were pretty good deals. I usually go to Sam's once a month for supplies that end up lasting me for several months. Sam's still does a pretty good job keeping everything in stock during these scarcity of times. The roofs over the shopping basket returns are the first I've seen.
