I take a yearly pilgrimage to a Harley event. This year with COVID all events have been cancelled so the time I had scheduled for Bikes, Bourbon, and Bluegrass was void. When it got close to the event the dealership was wondering if I was coming to ride their beautiful area. With the time already off I loaded up the bike last minute and took a long slow ride to Lexington. The next day I went to the dealership to get mine standard gear a shirt and some chips. I was greeted by the staff. At the front desk was Laura who provided me with ride maps for the area. From there to the service desk and purchased hardware. Cameron found what I needed and sent me on my way. Finally it was shirts and poker chips where Katrina help me find the shirt with the dealership logo I wanted. Hopefully Harley Davidson is willing to give them a chance next year to host the rally. If not me and my pals will be spending our week in Lexington. Hopefully the bourbon distilleries will be having tours. If not riding the Eye of the Dragon and some of the other rides planned by The dealership will make our visit worth it. This is what a dealership should feel like when you enter their establishment. I wasn't buying a bike or spend big money on gear or upgrades. Don't ever try to buy a bike from this place. Worst experience buying something ever. Tried to sell me a bike with a wore out front tire. Tried to get them to throw the tire in after a couple of days of thinking about. Never got a return call after a couple of calls and messages. Found out a few days later they raised the price 2k. Called em up to find out why. Was told that the bike was gaining alot of interest and they put a tire a battery and flushed the brake fluid. Not 2k worth of work to me but whatever. Sales manager Larry refused to work with me. Evem after i told them inwas working on getting more for the downpayment. Total piece of work. Cool dealership! The inside is designed to be similar to the inside of a horse barn - paying homage to the heritage of horse racing that is part of the area culture! As I already own a Harley-Davidson, I'm not here to shop for bikes, but to ooh and aah over them, and perhaps buy some accessories and/or H-D clothing. I ended up buying several H-D t-shirts and muscle shirts, along with the Man O' War H-D poker chip, and dealership pin. Every person working in this shop had a smile and a greeting. EVERY PERSON! And the shop is huge with a lot of bikes, new and used. More clothing than some clothing stores. Hubs wanted something from the area and Man O' War is about the coolest shop name we've come across. Like all HD shops, super clean restrooms and more than ample parking. Manowar H-D is an outstanding dealership. They got my bike running on a Sunday when they don't normally provide services, and even the clothing/services staff will go out if their way to help you. They have an excellent selection of bikes and swag, and I like the layout. The only thing that lowers their rating is in line with what I've seen as a trend in H-D dealerships, in lieu of military discounts they give you "loyalty" points (the absolutely most useless thing to motorcycle enthusiasts on road trips and a concept rather insulting to members of the armed forces). I will rant about this even more in later reviews, but this is just disappointing. However, everything else that they did was above 5stars, so I still can't recommend this place enough. read more

This is one of the worst Harley Davidson dealer in the state. Josh Bentley the general manager has an attitude of he is better than everyone else. They do not stand behind their products and are very over priced. If I was anyone wanting a new or used Harley Davidson I would think very hard about going to another Harley Davidson dealer in Louisville, or London, or even Cincinnati. Their tried to sell me a used Road Glide CVO for 49,000 and change. Telling me that it had all these extra stuff added to it, however they weren't going to give me anything for extra chrome or upgrades to my bike. I asked them if I had stupid written on my forehead. My bank said that loan value was only 32,000 and if they wanted over 50,000 with Tax and Delivery charges that they are asking WAY TO MUCH!!!!!! This is the way this dealer does business. I ordered a part from them on the phone and had it delivered to me after being told it would fit and now they will not let me exchange it for something else. read more

I took my bike in back in early June for a fluids change, general tune up, and to diagnose a problem. Two months and $4k later they called me and told me my bike was ready for pick up. I showed up, paid the ridiculous price, and they brought my bike out. I go over to start it up and it wouldn't start. I went back inside the service department and explained the problem to the service rep who called a tech over to look at it. After some time the tech discovered a broken throttle return cable, that definitely wasn't broken when I brought it in. So I know they didn't do the however many point inspection that I paid for and nor did they do my throttle cable and clutch adjustment that I also paid for considering they didn't realize they broke my throttle cable since they called and told me my bike was good to go. So yesterday they called me up and wanted me to pay $400 in addition to the $4k I already paid to fix a problem that they caused, additionally now my battery had also gone bad all of a sudden while sitting in their shop for the last 2 months. I told them to forget it I wasn't paying to fix a problem they caused and that I would be in to pick up my bike as soon as I could. Harley Davidson service department at Man O War is a joke. I will never use them again. Find a local independent guy or learn to do my own maintenance rather than getting ripped off by the stealer-ship. read more

They have new management here and have really turned their focus around toward the customer. Why Drive hours out of town to another shop when you could just visit your local shop here in town. I was halfway into a 8 and a half hour trip that was the first day of a six day motorcycle trip through the smokies. We stopped here to grab an obligatory t shirt and when I came out, my road glide has puked coolant all over the parking lot. I rode it down to the service entrance and spoke with Christie who told me they were down three techs and had 30 plus appointments on the day, but told me she would have someone come look at the bike. A tech came down and examined the bike. He stated it probably had burped an air bubble since I just had my coolant pump updated, but said he would let it cool down and then add some coolant and burp it to make sure I'd be good to go. This really put me at ease. I hung out for a half hour to let the bike cool so they could release the radiator cap. Half an hour later, two techs came out and refilled my coolant and burped the bike. The most unbelievable part? On the house. This service department is an absolute testament to Harley's dealer network and made me so confident in my bike and continuing this trip. I stopped by to look for a oil cooler and voltage regulator cover for my 2017 Street Glide. I looked at a shirt. (I was dressed in PT gear was at the VA for Physical Therapy) The girl that worked there followed me around closely kept asking me to carry the shirt. After the 10th time it got annoying and gave it to her, Bought the shirt and left. At that point I knew I was profiled. 2 weeks later I rode up to Lexington a and stopped by of course in leathers and jeans and walked around with a shirt in hand no one from the staff approached me. I confronted the same employee and asked why she did not chase me around this visit like the last and she denied the last encounter . I said fine and pulled out my cell phone and showed her on video. The choice is simple...DON'T GO ANYWHERE else! 3 weeks ago, I had zero interest in a Harley. Saw a Fat Bob and my interest was peaked. Long story short starting looking at bikes at other dealerships where service was just non existent. After spending 45min sitting on bikes at a dealer near London, KY, I finally left because I didn't even get eye contact from any of the staff. Walked past 4-5 sales folks on the way in and walked by the same folks on the way out. They never broke stride in there conversation with each other as we walked within feet of them. My wife and I drove to the next closest dealer (over an hour away) in Lexington (Man O War Harley). We were greeted by a very welcoming and attentive guy named PAC-Man. Long story short, the bike I wanted was sold within an hour of us leaving to get some lunch to discuss the purchase. Pac-man was all over it as he and the staff searched for the last 2018 vivid black Breakout in all of North America. Within a week, the team found it, secured it and transported from out of state...simply to make a sale on a bike. I doubt any other dealer would've have gone that far....I've never even heard of that before. Two days ago my new Breakout was delivered but unfortunately after my second ride, the bike would no longer crank. Needless to say, I was crushed! Within 48hrs there was a Man O War van in my driveway scooping up my bike headed back up to Lexington (again, over an hour away). Within the very same day, my Breakout was repaired and back in my driveway by 5p. That's just CRAZY! Man O War Harley, Pac-Man, Sniper, Jason, management and all the other AMAZING people who gave me and my girls the red carpet treatment.....THANK YOU! I've stayed at 5 star hotels, fly first class, eat at wold class restaurants....none of them come close to the level of service and hospitality that you all deliver! Worst Customer Service by the Service department ever. Not only do they not return calls when I called for status update. e.g. the tech has it up on the lift, I will call you back this afternoon, but it took 4 weeks to complete a job that should have been completed in no longer than 2 weeks. No one cares about the customer. Also you might also note that the reviews on their website only contain 5 star reviews. That is not realistic based on my experience and other friends of mine. I am finding out the hard way that Man O' War Harley is the worst dealership for service and parts! We have taken our new motorcycle there 2 times for service and customization work and both times it has come out damaged. By the way this motorcycle was purchased brand new there in June of 2019. The first time was fall of 2019, we asked for some custom handle bars, highway pegs and first service. While it was there in service they scratched the fairing and fuel tank. In order to get these scratches repaired I had to file a BBB case and attorney general case. After speaking with Josh Bentley the General Manager, we came to a mutual agreement to give them another opportunity to make things right. We dropped the motorcycle off in November to have the damage repaired, we also had tires replaced under warranty because they were splitting down the middle, the custom handle bars that were installed the previous year had to be replaced again due to being bent, which they did under warranty. We also asked for new shocks and a cup holder. Fast forward to February and I had to send them an email because they had not reached out to me to let me know how the motorcycle was coming along. We eventually picked the motorcycle up on March 6th 2021 only to find the paint work that was done was horrible, swirl marks in the fairing, the paint is dull now and no sparkle in the paint that matches the rest of the motorcycle and there are new scratches in the front fender and backside of the tank. Wilson took pictures they day we dropped off and the day we picked up so that there would be no discrepancies. He stated to me and my fiance that he knew those scratches were not there and that the fairing looked horrible due to all the swirl marks and that we were ok to take the motorcycle and we could bring it back to fixed. I was then contacted by the Service Manager Kristie only to be informed they were not doing anything to fix the damage they caused and we were not welcome back to the service department. If you are thinking about using their service department think again!!!!! I went to Man O' War Harley Davidson on the 27th of April 2018 and spoke to them about getting a fuel tank panted and switched out on my 09 Iron 883. I was told it was fast and easy. I was quoted $500.00 total for all work and labor. I came back the next day and dropped off my fuel tank with Christen or Christy. She said she would call me with a time line from the painter as soon as she had one. I went back in on the 7th of May and spoke to the same person who told me that I needed to wait a week. the painter is fast ang gets everything done in a week. I told her that I dropped it off longer than a week and she still refused to believe it. She said she would call me with an update that day. On the 8th I went in to get supplies to do an oil change I stopped down in the service department to check the status of the fuel tank and was told it would be ready for pick up the following day the 9th of May by the above mentioned employee. On the 9th I waited until about noon and when I called I was told that it would not be ready for at least another week do to the fact that steel tanks are so much harder to paint than any thing else and their has to be tons on body work done to the tank before it will accept paint. I called and complained to the store manager and spoke to the service department manager and was told that the tank would be ready today 16 May 2018. I go in and I believe Luke starts to help me I tell him I am their to pick up my fuel tank. He asks if it is the one I dropped off and have been having the problems with for almost a month? I told him yes and then Christen butts in and takes over I told her that I did not want to work with her she wanted to know why. I told her she was a liar. WHEN SOMEONE SAYS THEY WILL CALL YOU BACK WITH A UPDATE YOU CALL THEM BACK. I WAS IN THE STORE MULTIPULE TIMES AND YOU TOLD ME YOU WOULD CALL ME BACK AND NEVER DID. Cristen then told me that Harley Davidson did me a favor by having my tank panted. And they do not tolerate their customers getting angry at them. Luke chimes in with we have been so busy that's why you were never called back. So I am no allowed as the consumer to tell the person who has given me bad service I do not want her helping me? What is the favor Harley Davidson did for me not the Pride in Service, Not the Customer Service, Not a fair Price at $425.00 for a fuel tank with that many problems. What did I get? I got a big hassle, treated like crap, talked to like a kid, and disrespected by a woman who could not even apologize for not even calling me back when she said she was going to. I WILL NEVER GO BACK AND WILL TELL EVERYONE I MEET SEE AND KNOW ABOUT MY EXPERIANCE WITH MAN O' WAR HARLEY DAVISDON AS LONG AS SHE IS WORKING THERE. read more
