Finally a Tesla Supercharger in Irvine! This is a bitter sweet addition because I literally ran out of free miles a week before, but the Tesla drivers in Irvine got a supercharger. Despite having the ability to charge at home, I went here and paid just to try it out. It was glorious. I avoid this plaza due to parking but who knows maybe I will be working here someday one of the high rise companies. If your a hiring manager hit me up for your marketing needs! Anyways, this location is not ideal due to parking however it's not bad for people commuting to Irvine. Dealing with parking is still worth the pain over driving to the other OC chargers for no reason. You live, work, or travel to Irvine for a reason why would you want to go anywhere else. Enjoy the bubble. Located on the second floor of the garage. Drive past LA fitness to the garage entrance and drive up the ramp as if you are trying to make it to the 3rd level. You will find the location on the 2/3 level right before the ramp. In other words keep going up. You won't see it otherwise because the superchargers are in a line so there are no visible Telsa logos. If you see a another Tesla follow it. Great job Tesla but we need more... I'm going to rant for a moment because Irvine is #5 on Tesla emissions saving chart with possibly the highest per cap concentration in a CA city hub. Irvine has a ton of commuter traffic, travelers both business and personal, multiple Universities and local residents and not too far from Disneyland. Cough! We need more superchargers. I will charge at home but think of all the Tesla fam that might live in an apartment or want to go electric. Irvine has one SC but there are 2 Tesla sales showrooms in the bordering cities of Newport Beach and Costa Mesa. Hmmm. Doesn't add up. Before you discount my comments. In NorCal if you travel to Dubin/San Ramon, there are literally 3 or 4 superchargers placed near freeway exits. I can't get on the freeway without passing one. That needs to be Irvine! First time coming into this plaza, I tried to follow the first Reviewers instruction but still got lost for a minute lol thankfully, there was a couple of Tesla in front and I just followed them into the parking garage. Next visit will be much easier. What I like most about this charger is it's under shade. All stalls are working thus far (I know you'd expect working stalls but this doesn't always happen), and charging at fast rates. Yay. It's not always on the way around my work route but I was glad to have stopped by here for a good charge. read more

Hubby and I came here a few times this past week to charge his Tesla. They have the charging station on the 2nd floor. There's no validation needed for this structure which is good. We came during off hours, after 9pm and before 7am to get a few charges in. It's been impossible to get a spot anytime during the lunch rush or even after 2pm. There's a line of Teslas waiting to get a spot. Personally, we love this location only because it's beside a bunch of great restaurants (North Italia, Ruth's Chris, Puesto, Lemonade, Houston's, Panini Kabob Grill). You can grab a bite to eat while charging your car. It's great. read more

Tesla Superchargers are always tricky to find. This one is located on the second floor of the parking structure. There is always a line to charge but down the street there's another charging station with 20+ chargers. Normally the wait is medium to short but it's a wait mostly at any given time regardless of peak hours or not. read more

Supercharger indeed!! During the Silverado fire evacuation it seemed like half of irvine residents were here to charge their Teslas! Luckily the station had many stalls to accommodate almost everyone at 8-9pm. It took about 1-1.5 hours to charge our car which wasn't bad at all since we were able to walk around and shop at Mother's Market. The stalls are located on the second level of the parking structure between Panini Cafe and Puesto. Unfortunately there is no dining in at this time because the is plaza would have been the perfect location to do so with so many restaurants here! read more

This one you have to pay to park, its 1.50 per 15 minutes. I tried to be clever and leave before 15 minutes and charge for 13 minutes. It turned out that I still have to pay the 1.50 for the ticket. Should have put it in a lot with a 15 minute grace period. But.. alas all the chargers around Irvine have a wait, and I gotta pick someone up in 30 minutes. So at least make this a 240k charger since I'm paying to charge. I guess I should be thankful it is available and not 3$ every 15 minutes and count my blessings instead of bitching about having to pay less money than I throw away on crap I buy once and never use again. Charger located on the 2nd floor; just follow the winding path to the 2nd floor. DON'T go through the gate in between the 1st and 2nd floor; it leads to a separate part of the garage meant for residents (or someone else). You're able to access and use the super chargers with no parking garage fee. Happy charging! read more

Had to pay to park, there were no adjacent places to eat, drink, or rock a piss open at 230pm on a Saturday. Very disappointing.

Been to this Supercharger twice, it was hard to find initially. You have to go into the parking garage and go up one floor. This place is always busy and you have to be lucky to find an empty space. Lately the Tesla app doesn't show the number of available spaces. We definitely need more superchargers in the area. read more
