First time coming into this plaza, I tried to follow the first Reviewers instruction but still got lost for a minute lol thankfully, there was a couple of Tesla in front and I just followed them into the parking garage. Next visit will be much easier. What I like most about this charger is it's under shade. All stalls are working thus far (I know you'd expect working stalls but this doesn't always happen), and charging at fast rates. Yay. It's not always on the way around my work route but I was glad to have stopped by here for a good charge.

wrong way you can't go thru here go out past two gate entrances

go past the two gate keepers, then to the second floor. if you pass only one gate and go up you will see the no outlet sign and won't be able to go into the tesla charging area. go back down then pass the other gate toward LA fitness to go in. NOT the AC hotel parking area. limited spots only 12 spots. it was midnight Sunday and all but one was occupied. kinda slow. view photos for directions.

Tesla Superchargers are always tricky to find. This one is located on the second floor of the parking structure. There is always a line to charge but down the street there's another charging station with 20+ chargers. Normally the wait is medium to short but it's a wait mostly at any given time regardless of peak hours or not.

This one you have to pay to park, its 1.50 per 15 minutes. I tried to be clever and leave before 15 minutes and charge for 13 minutes. It turned out that I still have to pay the 1.50 for the ticket. Should have put it in a lot with a 15 minute grace period. But.. alas all the chargers around Irvine have a wait, and I gotta pick someone up in 30 minutes. So at least make this a 240k charger since I'm paying to charge. I guess I should be thankful it is available and not 3$ every 15 minutes and count my blessings instead of bitching about having to pay less money than I throw away on crap I buy once and never use again. I really need to get my shit together, tighten up, quit your bitchin, it's embarrassing. Not an attractive feature. No one wants to hear your life story.

I'm so excited that we have a Supercharger in town located at the Park Place center right next to Houstons!! Pull into the parking garage right above Panini Grill and pull up to the 2nd Floor. You'll see a row of 12 stalls currently .32 /kWh and idle fees up to $1/min This Irvine Supercharger will be a high traffic location in no time the second that all the South County Tesla Fanboys find out its here!! Had to pay to park, there were no adjacent places to eat, drink, or rock a piss open at 230pm on a Saturday. Very disappointing.

+ Plenty of shaded non-charging spots to park at, given it's a parking structure, if you need to leave your car for a bit afterward.

This is what EV charging should look like…read more As a Tesla owner, I've charged at a lot of stations over the years, and Rove is by far one of the nicest charging facilities I've been to. The first thing that stood out was the size of the station. There are 40 DC fast chargers, including 27 Tesla chargers, so finding an available charger wasn't an issue. The entire facility feels modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed with large solar canopies providing shade over the charging stalls. What really separates Rove from a typical charging stop is everything else they offer. There's a ReCharge by Gelson's market with snacks, drinks, and fresh food, a comfortable lounge with free Wi-Fi, clean restrooms, a car wash, complimentary vacuums, and even a water bottle filling station. It feels more like a premium travel stop than a charging station. I especially appreciated the little details. The property was spotless, there was security on site, and the complimentary vacuums were a nice touch. The facility feels safe, well-maintained, and welcoming whether you're stopping for 15 minutes or a longer charge. The location is also convenient right off the 5 Freeway, making it an easy stop while traveling through Orange County. As EV adoption continues to grow, this is exactly the type of charging experience I'd like to see more of. Plenty of chargers, great amenities, clean facilities, and a comfortable place to spend your charging time. If you're an EV owner and haven't checked out Rove yet, it's worth the stop.

With about 40 fast chargers there's plenty of charging for all types of EVs. 28 Tesla chargers, 12 CCS with NACS connection plus 2 CHAdeMo connections allow cars from Tesla to nearly all makes of EVs to charge quickly. There is free WiFi, restrooms, quick grab and go bites and even a drive thru car wash with vacuums. Just off the 17th Street exit of the I-5 freeway, this location is easy on and off on your commute.
