This is one of the best charging stations in Orange County. Not only can you charge your Tesla but this place has all the different charging machines. We saw multiple Tesla cars, Audi, Porsche, Rivian and a Kia. What makes this place so great is that right next store is the new Re-Charge Market by Gelson's. Not only can you charge your vehicle, but you can shop at intimate upscale market that has nothing but the best fresh product products. From fresh fruit to premade sandwiches and salad salads to your favorite beer and wines this place has it all. A very quick self checkout process allows you to charge your vehicle, get some shopping done and even pick up a quick meal. Came to charge my car, which seemed super nice! Decided to check out the convenience store, and bought a drink. The employee complained that I asked to use their bathroom while my car was charging. His words were "this isn't your home, why do we need to let you use the bathroom" and this was after a purchase. He also complained when I asked him to fill my hydroflask with ice at their drink station, and charged me 50 cents! I asked before doing that so I don't understand what his problem was. I paid for ice, bought a drink and paid to charge my car....and that wasn't enough to use their bathroom. There are plenty of places to charge on harbor, I highly recommend NOT going here. Unprofessional employees, that have no idea how to provide customer service. read more

Glad the bathrooms and lounge area is open at 10pm. Unfortunately the market is closed. Only the vending machine of snacks is available. I would say there are 28 Tesla slots and 9-10 larger chargers for non Tesla vehicles. It's very well lit with solar rooftop at night and feels safe. Will check out during the day read more

This Tesla supercharger station that just opened in the beginning of April is seriously such a chill spot. The charging area is operated in partnership with Rove, with 28 Tesla chargers and 12 non-Tesla chargers available. There's also a convenience store in collaboration with Gelson's Market (though it doesn't show up on Google Maps yet). They have way more options than a typical convenience store, everything from snacks and drinks to sushi and even freshly squeezed orange juice. There's even a small beer cooler room section(Hop Box) ! In the back, there's a really comfortable lounge area (only for paying customers, with a 2-hour limit, and no sleeping allowed). After you check out, you can bring your food inside, relax, watch TV, and eat. There are plenty of outlets for charging your phone or laptop. The restrooms are very clean, and the staff are super friendly. There's also a Goodwill right next door if you want to browse and kill some time while charging. This location is bright, clean, and the items look surprisingly new. If you happen to be nearby and need to charge, it's definitely worth checking out! I'm visiting their newest location today to charge my electric car. Everything looks nice and new here. The setup is very similar to their older location in Santa Ana but they do not have a car wash here. The indoor lounge is nicely lit with family/ADA restrooms and free WiFi available. They also offer window cleaning supplies, trash and recycling and patio seating if you want to relax outside while charging your vehicle. There 32 NACS/Tesla, 16 CCS and 2 CHAdeMO chargers available here. You can use the charger interface or their Rove app to start charging. The ReCharge by Gelson's Fresh Market convenience store will be open for the Grand Opening on 4/8/26. I was driving back from Newport Beach-our client- and realized I needed to charge up. Having experienced Rove in Santa Ana and having an excellent experience, I decided to go and check out their new location in Costa Mesa. I'm so glad I did. I was trying to get my car charged and Leo came by to assist me. We struck up a great conversation. I was commenting how nice the Rove stations are compared to the crappy ChargePoint and the others. I love the part where you can go in and shop at Gelson's and relax. Jordan Martinez -the station manager, came out to chat and I'm so excited they'll be adding more units. We have 2 EV's. I tell everyone to go and check out Rove. Jordan and Leo set a very high bar. These guys are fantastic. Sadly I can only give them 5 stars- They deserve 10 stars! Complete waste of time. I showed up, downloaded the app, and followed all the instructions exactly. Everything seemed fine at first, but once I started the session, the station screen began glitching. Within seconds, I was charged $60 and then immediately got a "charging canceled" message -- with no actual charge to my car. So not only did it fail to work, it took my money in the process. I won't be coming back. If you need dependable charging, you're better off going somewhere proven like IKEA or South Coast -- I've never had issues there. read more
