I have been coming here for years, as the last review added, since Seamus left the company, service and quality is poor. I even spent $2400 for their water filtration system which had issues after issues. They finally stop responding to me stated its to bad. Spent hours and finally figured out they just added isopurewater filters and charging 15 times the price. Its a shame, since i think its very important supporting local and small businesses. Super upset right now. I paid for the 2 gallon bottle with water and added tip and what they gave me was stomachache! Found this place on Yelp and wanted to support this local business. Made it before they closed today. I purchased 2 gallon with the water included. Didn't think much nor monitored the worker as I was trusting the seller to know what they were doing. The staff came out with a bottle and filled water with that. Ok cool, went back home to try out this glorious water. As I was driving home, wondered if they should have like rinse that new bottle before putting water in, No? When you buy kitchen products or anything to store food or liquid, you should wash the kitchen product beforehand to sanitize it. When I poured out the water into my crystal cup, something white was flowing. I thought oh maybe my cup is dirty. Without thinking much, I took a sip to make sure. Then it started not sitting right in my stomach. I started having a stomachache. Dump the water from my cup. Then I decided to check my cup and the citizen bottle and the water inside. Inside the citizen bottle, i saw some small weird things flowing. I took some water out again to double check with my eyes but definitely not with my mouth. Ya, I'm not drinking this. I have used Citizen water delivery for years and it just keeps going downhill. Our service is frequently forgotten, leaving us with no water for our business until the next week. They keep charging us for our full amount yet delivery half. The customer service is awful and hard to get ahold of. read more

If you've never had a water delivery service before, and don't really mind submitting to the way they do things, then this place is for you. But if you're coming from another bigger company -- who has technology and systems in place where they can send you text or email reminders of your delivery date, swaps out used jugs for fresh clean and sealed ones, remembers your delivery preferences, and doesn't require you to keep track of the caps -- then you may want to reconsider. Firstly, they come with a water truck and just refill your existing bottles at the curb without cleaning them between uses. You also better remember to keep those caps or they will fill a bottle of water and leave it outside your house in the elements, with no cap on. Secondly, they will not come once a month even if you've requested it several times. We live very close to them and they seem to be stopping by whenever they feel like it rather than having a set schedule. It seemed to us like they were coming closer to once a week, and we don't have time to be fussing over water jugs on such a regular basis, and to be frank, it actually started stressing us out: remembering caps, leaving out empty jugs at the front door, not knowing when they're coming, etc. We just wanted one day a month to handle our water transaction and not have unsightly jugs constantly sitting outside our front door (because if you do put them somewhere less conspicuous, they won't come up to your house looking for them, they'll just keep driving and leave you with no water if they can't see your jugs from their car.) We wanted to shop small and local and don't mind young stoney types.. we've done our own share of killing brain cells. But we gotta do what we gotta do and find somewhere else who can meet our low-maintenance needs. read more

I purchased a large glass bottle, and I'm able to go and get free water refills for life! I also saw that Grit Cycle now has an installed Citizen Water filtration system, so I asked about installing one in my home. Not only do they have one for cooking and drinking water, they also have one for showers!!! I definitely have the water filtration installs on my 2018 wish list! The kombucha was great too! I didn't noticed it until I came back later that I don't like that she didn't allow you to put your own water but then don't see clean her hands after being behind the desk, the register, don't wear gloves at all, much less new gloves for each customer's pouring and then mix touching others bottles if they come in at the same time to my bottle. What if the other guy's bottles or he's infected, so touching the tip of my bottle and cap after touching the stranger's is gross .. the neck top is where I'd drink bottles from. I'm gonna have to dump the dozen of waters got here and bottles as well. (Am going back to other place where I used to go before they let me pour my own waters. I wear gloves handling the spouts too and I do see the Japanese ladies clean it after me.. Whereas I don't think I saw her clean the place and wash hands after each person. What's the point of mask if you just passing cooties from another into my clean bottles. Now you just wasted my $15 and containers I either have to really ReaLLY sanitize or dump & buy new glass bottles. read more

Just to let everyone know they do not sell "alkaline water" like advertised. And they do not sell the best water out there either. I have been coming here for years when Seamus and people who actually cared about good water was here. Now it's just a few people that work here that don't care or are not passionate about water at all. The people that work here now are not helpful at all, the customer service has dropped here tremendously. And it's basically just expensive bottled water you can get anywhere for a fraction of the price. Even gave them a ton of chances, I tested the water three different times on three different occasions. Was it 9.5 ph balanced water? Not even close, tested around 5 or lower every single time . How can you charge 2 bucks a gallon for water that's not even close to alkaline? Very weird. Will not be coming back here anymore sadly read more

I had an excellent experience at Citizen Water Company today. I believe they just opened a couple of days ago. You can pick up superfoods, coffee, tea, water, kombucha and more. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable about they're clean drinks and superfoods. The fresh young coconut by YW International Inc in Thailand was amazing. The antidote bar was tasty too. The best water store in OC, easily! Each employee knows all about their system and is able to explain what it is that you're drinking. Their water is some of the tastiest around. These guys make their own kombucha, make their own cold brew coffee and then run it on nitro, and have some awesome all natural health products. Not only was the owner not pretentious like some hot spots, but he and his staff were happy to explain methodology and technique behind their products. I have been drinking Citizen water for about 7 months, it is clean and delicious. Seamus is the best about explaining how and why the water is processed. Indy is one of the other employees, and the other day, I brought in two 5 gal plastic bottles, and he tested and repaired the leaks, and replaced the water at a reduced cost for me.
