Tender, flavorful, and packed with that rich beefy taste you'd expect from a steak of that caliber. The garlic stuffed filet was incredibly tender and added another layer of flavor, while the New York strip had a great texture and a perfect mesquite grilled finish. The Gulf shrimp were cooked well and added a nice contrast to all the steak. Smoky, juicy, and full of flavor. The sides were excellent across the board. The mac and cheese was creamy and rich, the cornbread was warm and comforting, the tallow fries were crispy and addictive, and the Brussels sprouts provided a nice balance to the feast. The restaurant itself has a true Texas atmosphere with a rustic upscale feel. Service was attentive, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel special. This wasn't just dinner. I liked the cornbread the most and wished there was more of it. Usually a side of cornbread is much more substantial and comes with honey butter. - Steak sauce: we ask for a side of this. This airport is on the smaller side. Only Southwest and Delta fly through here, but being on the smaller end, made it easy to get to your gate and to get to baggage claim quickly. But don't let the smaller size make you think it doesn't have much. My husband was particularly impressed with the Whataburger kiosk right past security. You can order there and then pick up when you get to Whataburger further down the concourse. DAL also had some live entertainment as well as ample other food and gift options. Our flights were relatively on time; security went fast; and the bathrooms were also clean. It checks all the boxes!
