When they arrived today to perform the work, they informed me they could not complete one of the previously agreed upon duties and that I would need to hire someone else for that portion of the project. This set my whole project into a tailspin as that portion was a very intregral part of the work to be completed. As I scrambled to find someone else to perform that job duty and keep the project on track, they then informed me they could not honor any portion of the original quote and would instead be switching to an hourly rate. A rate that again they could not confirm would not exceed the original agreed upon amount. It was a complete bait and switch that left me completely in the dark. This is a very dishonest company.

I know Singletrack is known for electrical but they are equally competent in the other areas they service. Travis and Peter were great: Showed up on time and pleasant to work with and completed the work perfectly. Noelle, the scheduler, is the most courteous scheduler I've spoken with in a long time. She really has the gift of customer service. There have been other companies I've called where I was left feeling like I'm interrupting their Facebook time. Not the case here. Call her and you will know what I mean. I may call her just to chat about random stuff! My next jobs with Singletrack are more smart switches and a home backup generator, scheduled for next week. It's tough to find impressive workers in the trades but this is my team moving forward. They have taken the stress out of these projects because I don't have to wonder if they will show up, show up on time, make a mess of my house, do a poor job, or make me feel like I have to babysit. Also, they have a big enough team that I'm not waiting weeks to get on the schedule. The longest I've waited to have someone out was 3 days. Then they just get the work done right. That's all I ever ask of a contractor.
