There are also plenty of places to sit and read, both quiet and more in the thick of things. Lots of tablets as well. And friendly staff. The library also has a really nice selection of books in certain languages. I wish they had Thai, but it was nice to see representation! I also really appreciate the audio tour. I didn't listen to it this round, but the fact that it's there and that there's so much on display really makes this library special. There's a dedicated YA area that requires a school ID to get into. They also have newspapers and a really snazzy reading room! Next time, I'll use it. While they have swag and books at the book shop, there was no one volunteering there when we went, so we didn't get a chance to go inside. Oh well, that just means we'll have to come back.

Parking is convenient since it's next to the sheriff's station and shares a large parking lot, including basement parking.

Brand new Tesla Charging Station opened! This one is on the corner of South St. and Woodruff Ave. There are 20 charging stations available. It is 250 kW but the fastest it charged my car was 75kW. There are a couple eateries available [Church's chicken, El Pollo Loco, Thai Vila, and more] and 7/11 in the parking lot. I order from Thai Villa and by the time my food is ready for take out, my car is done. Also, directly across the street, Starbucks, Rite Aid, and Vons grocery store. This will definitely be my new charging station when Cerritos is packed and I don't want to charge at home.

The rates are actually decent at 0.39c/kWh making it one of the cheapest in the area to charge after 0800 and before 1200. I wouldn't mind revisiting if I am in the vicinity again.
