I grabbed a magazine and found a quiet window seat, and those 30 minutes of zero calls, zero texts, zero noise? Pure heaven. I didn't realize how much I missed just sitting and reading without a single interruption. Before heading out, I checked out the psychology and cooking sections, and it reminded me how much I've always loved libraries and bookstores. The whole visit made me want to get a library card and come back once a month just to enjoy that peaceful moment. I could've spent hours just checking out each section. Brand new Tesla Charging Station opened! This one is on the corner of South St. and Woodruff Ave. There are 20 charging stations available. It is 250 kW but the fastest it charged my car was 75kW. There are a couple eateries available [Church's chicken, El Pollo Loco, Thai Vila, and more] and 7/11 in the parking lot. I order from Thai Villa and by the time my food is ready for take out, my car is done. Also, directly across the street, Starbucks, Rite Aid, and Vons grocery store. This will definitely be my new charging station when Cerritos is packed and I don't want to charge at home.

The charging speed was also very slow. I arrived with a preconditioned battery sitting around 59%. It took me 40 minutes to charge despite having nobody parked next to me the entire time. Craziness. The rates are actually decent at 0.39c/kWh making it one of the cheapest in the area to charge after 0800 and before 1200. I wouldn't mind revisiting if I am in the vicinity again.
