Tesla parking next to a Target: WIN WIN!
Richie D.

While in Marina del Rey, I figured I might as well charge up. This location is easily accessed from the I-105 in Hawthorne/West Athens/Gardena area. There is a Target, Lowe's, Ross, PetSmart and other stores nearby. I was charging about 350-400 miles per hour or 77-100 kW. Funny enough, people got out of their cars to chat with each other, even during a rare rainy day in Los Angeles.

Tesla canopy going up?

I use this spot most often. It's between my job and my home & it has a gym directly across street. They closed off the Spacex charging shortly after opening this one. Seems they are maybe adding chargers. There is sometimes a wait at this location. So extra chargers would be helpful. I like that it's in a open parking lot and not a tall structure. Wish they'd put some chargers more mid-city. Note: during construction of the new charging canopy, 9 or so of the chargers are not operable. So caution yourself before going here. I noticed the construction on 10/8/22.

Despite several chargers out of service, it was easy to find an open spot and charge rapidly.

Chargers are always out of order and there is always trash on the ground. I would recommend to charge anywhere else.

Very nice safe and clean not even that the food place is worth the wait while charging. My favorite was the barbecue chicken pizza.

I liked that they had a petsmart and a target in the plaza for me to walk around as we charged.

On my latest trip, it was really full and everyone was having issues navigating the spots. Just a warning, I saw Cybertrucks really struggling in the narrow lot & tight spots. There aren't a ton of stalls here and on the weekend, it gets full so be sure to check availability when you roll over. There was also one out of order stall over the weekend. As mentioned, I love coming to this location when I want an invigorating Viet coffee from Lee's Sandwiches right in front of the chargers. Aside from Lee's, Torimatsu (amazing skewers) is in this shopping plaza, as well as Myung Ga Haejangguk & Sushi Sonagi - all places I love. Very good variety of restaurants within walking distance if you need to eat & use facilities. No dedicated bathrooms. Panda Express will be a 15 minute round trip walk. Both times I have been here, it's been more messy than other chargers with the garbage cans needing changing & some trash on the ground. So in short, the only time I come to this charger is when I am combining with visiting one of the restaurants. Not my favorite, but it gets the job done.

The Enclave has been a great spot to hang out, grab some food, and just relax with good vibes. We've especially enjoyed the spacious outdoor seating since it's dog-friendly, making it a fun place to visit with our pup. We've had a great experience each time and definitely plan on coming back to try more of the restaurants there.

Big enough to host an army. There's an art gallery here that host a couple outdoor games: ping pong table carved out from rock and metal cornhole. I recently found out the owner is a member of the church Calvery Life and offered to open an outdoor Sunday ministry spot for the church. I finally had time to come check it out and loved it! They closed a corner lot and you can tell the church spend a lot of time and effort to set it up. It was a very powerful worship. Loved it! I got my favorite mocha latte and got to try some fresh pastry from Noga. What a perfect start to a perfect Sunday. Thank you JESUS!!!

I'd like to consider ourselves as mall connoisseurs- we are always at Santa Anita Mall, South Coast Plaza and Brea Mall. We rarely visit Del Amo and I'm pleasantly surprised by how clean and the touch light walls are working. The rugs don't seem super grimey either. I particularly enjoy the layout that the play area is enclosed. The mall seems very safe with multiple security mall cops on moving scooters surveillance-ing around at all times. The nicer part of the mall with new shops like Chagee and Uniqlo is bright and open. Aritzia is opening soon too and Somi Somi is here for a sweet treat after playing

Food options to meet everyone budget. Pros 1. Abundance of stores and food options. 2. Well-maintained grounds. 3. Plenty of seating throughout the mall. Cons 1. Parking is insane. Talk about frustration. Especially during the weekends and holidays. You will roll around for quite some time to secure parking. Just have a lot of patience. Things to note: The mall spans a few blocks, with different stores like Dick's Sporting Goods and Barnes & Nobles being outside the main mall in stand alone locations. Moving on... There's a pretty good mix of stores for everyone in a fairly small footprint, plus plenty of food, drinks, and treats. I've never had an issue parking, either. Come to think of it, it's a pretty darn good place that should please most people, though apparently not everyone. I like The Point. My wife loves Evereve. It's close to my house, parking is easy, and it's nice to sit outside while my wife shops. I've even enjoyed a beer while hanging out. Solid 4.5 to 5 stars. Let's go 5 for now!

I saw a number of new stores that I didn't see the last time we were there, such as Lululemon and Yeti. This is an enjoyable place to visit.
