This supercharger location is super convenient while we were visiting Knotts Scary Farm and stayed at The Doubletree Hotel. Literally a block away from the hotel, located in The Source OC parking structure. The app says it's temporarily closed, but we decided to check it out just in case and it was operational! Yay! There are no signs directing you to where the chargers are but luckily there were a couple a parking attendants on the first level that directed us to the 3rd level and it's right there. There are two dozen superchargers spots here. Since it was not available on the app we didn't have to wait and there were plenty of spots open! Location is open from 6am - 2am. The Source OC is a shopping mall so you can shop or eat while your car is charging. Pricing here is $0.31/kwh. read more

Avoid this supercharger. No signs but can be found on the 3rd floor. Most are all the end wall but there are a couple on either side as well 1 star because out of the 12/24 that were supposedly available on a Saturday night, I tried about 9 of them, all of which were broken, before I gave up. Older and slower 72W 1st generation chargers here. Not very "super". Also on a Saturday at 5:00 PM, the price per was the highest in the area. The parking lot is crowded and if you have to wait for a charger it's awkward to stand in the traffic flow. Do yourself a favor, the area has lots of better, faster, cheaper, newer, less crowded superchargers. Unless you are below 5%, drive over to a different nearby supercharger location. Cannot recommend. read more

Other than having a little bit of a hard time initially with signage, this supercharger location is optimal because it's located inside the garage that's directly adjacent to the source OC and so there are about 16 chargers available and in the middle of the afternoon I was able to grab one right away, which is pretty uncommon for a weekend. The nice thing about being right next to a mall is that if you don't wanna wait in your car, you can walk around to one of the many stores and restaurants which is right next to the supercharger station. read more

Free structure parking. No limit. 3F by the side wall (a bit awkward). Youll go straight into it when on 3rd or to the leftside of the structure when coming up the ramps. So away from the main street. Everything is great except 2 things. 1) its not the cheapest (52kW @ $0.47 from 12p-11p). 2) they were totally shut down last sunday 8/27 and I was not amused. I would charge here more often if it wasnt as $$$. I actually come to this plaza alot so thats unfortunate I normally charge by my office in Irvine- main st and now I started charging in santa ana when passing by. Proceed straight up the incline to the third floor where all the chargers are (East side of the structure) . There are 22 chargers along the wall with 2 more around the corner on the right closer to the stairs. These are the urban chargers so you'll max out at 72 kWh. This location is great because there are lots of retail, dining, a theater, and a hotel for you to visit while charging and public restrooms as well. All the spots are also covered. The restrooms are by the middle (of 3) set of stairs on the parking structure. They are where the escalators are. read more

The chargers are a bit hard to find with no signs directing you to them, but thanks to other Yelpers we found them. You don't have to sit under the sun waiting for your car to charge and can sit back and watch a movie without the glare from the sunshine. Unless you've added tint. Also has access to the source with so many options for food or entertainment during your wait. Con: Can be hard to park during really busy days (weekends) because it's 2 way traffic. So if you wait for someone to empty a spot you'll be holding up the traffic. Unlike other superchargers where you can wait in a line for a spot to open up and away from the general traffic and stores parking. read more

Supercharger speed seems to have gone down in the past few months though it says up to 72KW. Lots of broken or slow chargers that only go up to 40+kw. I used to love this place but now it's only when I have time to kill do I come here. Hope they get this resolved soon. read more

This is one of the most unreliable Tesla Superchargers. DO NOT count on it being opens 3 out of 5 times it is temporarily closed which is extremely inconvenient when you plan events around charging there and having a meal or meeting friends at The Source. Tesla needs to look into this and see why they have so many closures . read more

One of the best superchargers in the area. Lots of machines within the Source OC 3rd floor. Even on a Saturday prime time around lunch there's at least 3-4 stalls available at all times. There's a lot of good food at the Source OC that you can grab within 30-40 minutes worth of charging. I highly recommend FlipPoly and Myung Rang Hot Dog on the 1st floor or Jaws TPK on the 4th floor in the food court. Restrooms on 1st floor or 4th floor food court. Very clean. read more

First time to this Supercharger in Buena Park. The map in our S showed the chargers are on the fourth floor of the parking garage. Ahhhh! The map was kidding. These high output charges are actually on the third floor in the northeast corner. 24 high output chargers just waiting to give you car the boost it needs for the remainder of your journey. We plugged in with 22 of our closest Tesla friends and were still getting 73 kW and 256 mi/hr. Yum! Lots of tasty electrons! Just remember! It's on the third floor! This Supercharger is hidden away in The Source shopping center/outdoor mall. It has 24 Urban Chargers (72kW) that are usually pretty empty. I recently discovered it and it's a great spot since the chargers are fast enough for you to have some time to explore the center. Lots of boba shops, drinks, dessert places and restaurants scattered throughout the plaza. Ample clothing and beauty stores as well if you're looking to do some shopping! read more

Right between the 91 and 5, it's so convenient. 24 spots ensures a spot every time I go, and I'm charging at max speed at every spot I've tried so far (haven't tried the handicap ones). I hope it never gets full, right now it's not too bad because half of mall is closed. Its actually on the top end of the 2nd floor of the parking. After going into the structure head up the ramp and make first right (right lane merges left so stay in left lane) then make immediate left. Go all the way down and the chargers are at the end. Food court is up one flight of stairs at second stairwell on left side. read more

24 chargers at 60kW, around 230mi/hr. It's level 3 of a parking structure to a mall. There are no Tesla signs but drive to 3E. It's perfect to pick up Portillo's and eat it there in the shade, specially when it 100 plus outside. read more

This supercharge station has a low flat rate all day. I never have to wait when I get there. Security guard on duty, very safe. If you go there during the day you can do some shopping in the mall or have a quick lunch. read more
