Located on the second floor of The Source OC
Clarissa A.

Other than having a little bit of a hard time initially with signage, this supercharger location is optimal because it's located inside the garage that's directly adjacent to the source OC and so there are about 16 chargers available and in the middle of the afternoon I was able to grab one right away, which is pretty uncommon for a weekend. The nice thing about being right next to a mall is that if you don't wanna wait in your car, you can walk around to one of the many stores and restaurants which is right next to the supercharger station.

Free structure parking. No limit. 3F by the side wall (a bit awkward). Youll go straight into it when on 3rd or to the leftside of the structure when coming up the ramps. So away from the main street. Everything is great except 2 things. 1) its not the cheapest (52kW @ $0.47 from 12p-11p). 2) they were totally shut down last sunday 8/27 and I was not amused. I would charge here more often if it wasnt as $$$. I actually come to this plaza alot so thats unfortunate I normally charge by my office in Irvine- main st and now I started charging in santa ana when passing by. Safe and plenty of korean things to do.

Busy for a Monday!

First time charging at a Tesla Supercharger location. Super easy for Tesla drivers, just plug it up and wait. Was a bit nervous but it was easy, Supercharger Virgin no mas! Over 20 chargers, close location to the Fullerton Park n Ride and 10 minutes from Disneyland. Over 10 cars charging on a Monday afternoon. The location is on the 3rd floor, I drove around the first time but found it in the parking structure of the shopping center.

Chargers along East wall on Level 3

To reach these chargers enter the parking garage on the left lane. Make a right to the second floor, then an immediate left. Proceed straight up the incline to the third floor where all the chargers are (East side of the structure) . There are 22 chargers along the wall with 2 more around the corner on the right closer to the stairs. These are the urban chargers so you'll max out at 72 kWh. This location is great because there are lots of retail, dining, a theater, and a hotel for you to visit while charging and public restrooms as well. All the spots are also covered. The restrooms are by the middle (of 3) set of stairs on the parking structure. They are where the escalators are.

Although most of the chargers are taken, it seems that there is also no wait for them. We are just passing through do this is our first time here. The chargers are a bit hard to find with no signs directing you to them, but thanks to other Yelpers we found them. They are located at the back of the structure on level 3, in the 3E and 3K sections. We picked up Mochinut and watched Netflix while the car charged!

Pro: shaded spots. On hot days this supercharger is the best. You don't have to sit under the sun waiting for your car to charge and can sit back and watch a movie without the glare from the sunshine. Unless you've added tint. Also has access to the source with so many options for food or entertainment during your wait. Con: Can be hard to park during really busy days (weekends) because it's 2 way traffic. So if you wait for someone to empty a spot you'll be holding up the traffic. Unlike other superchargers where you can wait in a line for a spot to open up and away from the general traffic and stores parking.

It's actually on 3E area even though Tesla says level 4

Supercharger speed seems to have gone down in the past few months though it says up to 72KW. Lots of broken or slow chargers that only go up to 40+kw. I used to love this place but now it's only when I have time to kill do I come here. Hope they get this resolved soon.

24 high output superchargers on the third floor in the northeast corner.

First time to this Supercharger in Buena Park. The map in our S showed the chargers are on the fourth floor of the parking garage. Ahhhh! The map was kidding. These high output charges are actually on the third floor in the northeast corner. 24 high output chargers just waiting to give you car the boost it needs for the remainder of your journey. We plugged in with 22 of our closest Tesla friends and were still getting 73 kW and 256 mi/hr. Yum! Lots of tasty electrons! Just remember! It's on the third floor! That will save you some time if you'd map is trying to fool you too.

3rd floor

This Supercharger is hidden away in The Source shopping center/outdoor mall. It has 24 Urban Chargers (72kW) that are usually pretty empty. I recently discovered it and it's a great spot since the chargers are fast enough for you to have some time to explore the center. Lots of boba shops, drinks, dessert places and restaurants scattered throughout the plaza. Ample clothing and beauty stores as well if you're looking to do some shopping!

easy to find, go straight up the ramp and it'll be on your right. managed to find the last spot on a really busy Saturday night. more spots than the service center.

It's actually on the 3rd floor. In the in cap ap said 4th floor.

Been here a few times, not a regular. It just really throws you off because on the Tesla screen it says 4th floor. It's clearly in the third. Minor inconvenience because most probably go to 4 and then. Just drive around a bit to figure it out. Would be sad if someone gave up. Not a lot of people there at the time of taking the photos.

Half of the chargers didn't work when I got there. No signs saying they were inoperable.

Tesla pinpoint says level 4 but it's really level 3 (3E-3K). Wasn't crowded on a Friday at 2pm.

Cool charger in a parking garage. I like the fact that it's covered with an Arby's and a KFC within walking distance.

Ask the Community - Tesla Supercharger

Are these chargers still here? I came at 1AM and drove up and down the entire structure with no supercharger in sight on 3rd 4th and 5th floor 😅

They were there 11/14/2020. Drive up the ramp, take the first right. Drive straight up another ramp and there were about 20 of them. Section 3E to 3K.

There's a lot of good food at the Source OC that you can grab within 30-40 minutes worth of charging.

I decided to try the pandan latte and it was just as she described: more coffee flavor, subtle on the pandan and not too sweet. I tried it and although the pandan flavor could be a bit more strong, I actually really liked it. You can taste the pandan but it's very subtle. I know that pandan itself has a very subtle aroma. Even when you have it in Asian desserts, its flavor is usually very faint unless it's the artificial stuff. I would order it again but maybe ask for a little more of the pandan syrup. My husband ordered the salted caramel latte and I tried some of it. It was so good! He really liked it too. I liked the foam with the salted mocha (?) powder stuff on top... it was so good. Espresso used in the drinks were of good quality and a nice dark flavor. Interior is really cute too. Reminds me of the cafes in Korea. It we lived in the area I would come here often. We'll have to come back if we're ever in the area.

The layout and aesthetics are a bit dated; but it is clean and well maintained. The two key anchors were Walmart and Sears; Walmart remains, but Sears is defunct. There are more than a few restaurants and food shops that get shout-outs on social media. I think you go to this shopping center if one of the tenants is your destination. What was interesting though was they did have an arcade that featured bigger rides which seemed nice. They also have a big parking lot with lots of spaces. Overall, I would probably not come to this mall again unless I was doing something nearby to pass the time such as getting auto repairs or looking for cheap shopping in the area.
