I have had some bad…read moreexperiences with some local electricians, high and repeated trip charges, poor attitudes, not willing to take small jobs. I was delighted to connect with Daniel. I contacted Modern Electric for a small job, they came straight out, were prompt, extremely personable and did a fantastic job for one very reasonable charge, no trip charge, no extras tagged on. Daniel was so nice, he installed our ceiling chandelier and then removed it, modified the height to suit us changing our minds and reinstalled it again. Poor guy we had him up and down on the ladder. He was very gracious, even checked the chandelier each time with a level. Excellent work, great attitude and so so reasonable! Very happy, thank you so much Modern Electric and Daniel!

Two things worth noting... before getting into the shower I noticed a hair on the wall, not mine, not my husband's. Not a good vibe. The check in was easy, our host attendant , gave us clear instructions to our airstream. We were a bit confused the first day and evening about how to contact someone after hours. I kept getting the bot when I went on to the website. Finally when I googled Bay Point Landing General store, I found that part of the site. From then on it was a breeze to getting help. The airstream was well stocked. Dishware, glasses, utensils, cookware and cooking utensils. Linens were clean, we even had lovely doggy baskets for our pups. Complete with towels, dishes, treats, leashes and sheets to cover bed and sofa. They have activities everyday to attend. We did the happy hour the first night, it was very nice sitting looking over the water and enjoying a glass or two of wine. I was grateful for the broom that was in the airstream, sweep out the RV multiple times a day. The airstream comes with dish rags and dishes towels, but no dish soap you can purchase that at the General store. This is not glamping, as some reviews seemed to think. But it is a step above RVing in a state park. There are nice amenities and can make as many improvements as you want, but they cost. We were happy with the close proximity to the state parks, restaurants and grocery stores. We look forward to our next stay at Bay Point Landing.

Environment: According to the news, this is the biggest Tesla charging station outside of California. With 51, yup...that's a lot. Plenty of open spots and it's convenient. Right off the 5 FWY, there are several food choices nearby, with Taco Bell being the closest. There's also an Electrify America charging station near the Dairy Queen and a Starbucks too. Trash cans are available. Yay/Nay/Meh: Yay. The place was convenient and well lit. Plenty of chargers available and there are food options to choose from if you don't mind a walk.

They are thoughtful and careful about having a nice inventory- the place is clean and neat. But mostly, Sean and Deanna are sweet, local neighbors that are easy to talk to. If they don't have some trinkets or a style of furniture, just ask! (Maybe they'll find it for you...) I HIGHLY recommend this business! (Just looking around is fun-and you'll probably see what I mean about buying something you had no idea you wanted, lol)
