While the reviews may suggest otherwise, all of my experiences here have been stellar. Before the new facility along Hempstead (#1) came about, this location along Westheimer was the default spot for all things Tesla. This includes test drives and service repairs, but the main driver (#2) for me has been their outstanding customer service. This facility is no slouch when it comes to size. There are service centers on both sides of the main lobby and there's definitely a steady of flow of folks coming in and out throughout the day. The parking lot is filled with so many Teslas that test drives shouldn't be an issue. For existing Tesla owners, there is a supercharger directly located near the back of the building and is accessible through Gessner Rd. The waiting area might not look like much, but I'll give them props for having a solid amount of drink options and snacks. The WiFI is speedy and the bathrooms are super clean. What I'm most impressed with is the meeting room, which comes equipped with chairs, cables, and AC. It is first come, first serve and was super clutch for privacy, virtual meetings, and phone conversations without having to disturb anyone. Eli is the real MVP. He was able to help me with my vehicle and provide a thorough and efficient service job without any hassle. He was flexible with the appointment scheduling and was professional from start to finish. The young sales girl said the standard Model 3 just got pushed out from Jan to Mar of 2022 due to the lack of electronic chips. Guess Taiwan is still struggling to upkeep with the global demand. Made service appt for 11:15am (days ahead). Was quoted roughly 4.5 hours for service, that was revised to end of day (7 hours). Showed up on time and 5 hours later was told they couldn't get repairs done that day.... The rub is that they NEVER EVEN LOOKED AT THE CAR. It sat in the parking lot untouched or reviewed for 5 hours. When we said we couldn't leave the car (via the app), they simply cancelled the service request. I've never had my time so disregarded at any other car service center in my lifetime. They repaired the paint issues I found the first day and when I picked up the car it wouldn't charge, the tail light did not work and there were new scratches on it. This all happened at the Richmond location but I have called all of the local Tesla locations to try and get help. The result was that I now have a 55 thousand dollar piece of junk in my driveway that I can't drive and several broken promises of the service team picking up my car and leaving a loaner. Now I'm stuck again because they claim to have a car waiting for me with no way of getting in it. SMH please don't make the same mistake I did. Go to a mainstream dealer if you want an EV and beware of the arbitration agreement with Tesla. Brought my car for a safety system error . Appt was at 10am Wednesday , staff informed that the servicing was a couple of hours, I informed them that I would wait. From 10 to 1755 no update till the one of the staff informed me that they were closing at 1800. I was directed to the service desk , I was informed that the car would not be ready for at least another 48 hrs(Friday). I have had a Tesla S85 for 8 years. Love the car and loved the service. Last 3-4 years the service is terrible. Communication was worse. To get the simple body work done I started in April 2021 and after 4 changed appointments to get the part, paint the part and install it took 2 1/2 months.Incompetence coupled with hubris is a terrible combination. The rudeness at the service desk is beyond pale and I would fire that type of person in a heartbeat. I was planning on buying a new Tesla but the service being abominable will have to look for an alternative. The longest serving manager of 6 years conducted the enquiry of a disaffected and one of the oldest customers in the hallway standing. He was impatient to look at the on going text messages to make my point. The snappy receptionist obviously doesn't know " May I help" but knows " you have to wait there". Sooo frustrated with the misinformation at the service center. I bought a new car and there were scratches on the back. So I spoke to the rep and they told us that we'll have to come back to get this fixed. after scheduling 3-4 canceled appointments (by them) we finally got an approved appointment and dropped off the car. Then they tell us to pick up the car, and as we arrive they then told us that we need to make another appointment for the cosmetic, we were so confused, and asked wait.. what? Thought thats why we dropped off the car in the first place. What did they do, they had no answer. So we booked another appointment, and the rep assured us that it will be towed on a flat bed to the service center, and shortly after, we were then charged for tolls..? And we were confused why, they then told us one thing, then they drove our car instead, and when we asked why they went against what we said, they cant do anything about it. Kenneth the manager at this location lies more easily and casually than anyone I've encountered. They didn't tell me they would sell my Tesla if not picked up by the end of the quarter until Dec 27. Multiple employees lied about my having been notified by email when originally matched to a VIN until I proved them wrong. Kenneth claimed it was Texas state law that "required" they sell the car by the end of the quarter (easily verified as false). Then he lied about trying to help me with the situation and about calling me back. When I called him out he lied about being in the hospital (also easily verified as false).
