But no mention of "World Cuisine" or "international foods" on the signage. Are we just supposed to intuitively know that the powers-that-be at Tesco, when they say "pasta," they mean all these other things as well? I had to go up and down the aisles, searching for rice noodles or something similar, no employee in sight, finally had to ask a very kind gentleman who was wearing a Tesco jacket but was a driver off-duty doing his own shopping! Get the signage right, hire enough employees to provide a modicum of customer service. 4. overall impression is of a messy, dirty store 5. The ink cartridges deposited for recycling and Clubcard points are either being stolen by employees or handled so incompetently that it amounts to negligence. Why have a program if you cannot run it properly? I deposited 6 over the past three months and was credited for one. This is too much of a repeat experience to be a mere mistake. Tesco, don't annoy your customers with so-called services that you cannot execute properly. Either do the job well or don't do it at all.

ASDA is well known for being the cheapest of the main supermarkets and I must admit that I agree. I often spend less in ASDA and get so much more. ASDA now has added electronic self serve tills to my local store allowing you to scan your own shopping, great fun!! lol Asda not only sell groceries but sell electronics, cd's, books, clothes, and I could go on forever. Recently ASDA have started to put more things on offer, it had previously simply aimed at customers by being the cheapest but now have offers such as 2 for 1. Keep an eye out as you can get some brilliant bargains on roll back! Most asda stores now sell petrol too, which you can pay at the pump - great for if you have a baby with you that you don't want to leave alone. Overall I love ASDA, shame they don't do BOGOF items though!!

Have been coming here since I was a child when I thought it was the biggest store I have ever seen! Now it seems tiny in comparison. They are however, always well stocked and every time I have been are never busy so it's great when you need a few things and can't face the queues of the giant store. Less of a selection of things such as homewares, but if it's basic groceries you want they have everything really, even the more random things usually reserved for larger stores. The only qualm I have is the car park is not next to the store but off down the road, and the footpath can't accommodate 2 trolleys, so can be a bit of a mare passing! It has a huge multi story car park behind it as well as a street level car park which is free to patrons so its always easy to park there which is a blessing when supermarket shopping! For groceries, though, it's got a lot to offer. Fruit and veg are of good quality and usually well-stocked. They have two 'car trolleys' which amuse small (and big) kids greatly, and make the shopping trip easier with children who are too big for the trolley seats but too small to walk all the way around without whining.
