ASDA is well known for being the cheapest of the main supermarkets and I must admit that I agree. I often spend less in ASDA and get so much more. ASDA now has added electronic self serve tills to my local store allowing you to scan your own shopping, great fun!! lol Asda not only sell groceries but sell electronics, cd's, books, clothes, and I could go on forever. Recently ASDA have started to put more things on offer, it had previously simply aimed at customers by being the cheapest but now have offers such as 2 for 1. Keep an eye out as you can get some brilliant bargains on roll back! Most asda stores now sell petrol too, which you can pay at the pump - great for if you have a baby with you that you don't want to leave alone. Overall I love ASDA, shame they don't do BOGOF items though!!

Generally you can find fresh products and a wide selection of near everything (do not come to this Tescos if you are looking for home goods/ electronics/ etc). The prices as it is Tescos are decent. The staff are generally friendly as long as you're not getting the end of shift crowd. For groceries, though, it's got a lot to offer. Fruit and veg are of good quality and usually well-stocked. The deli and fresh fish counters offer a lot of choice, and they even have a large 'Polish food' section. They have two 'car trolleys' which amuse small (and big) kids greatly, and make the shopping trip easier with children who are too big for the trolley seats but too small to walk all the way around without whining. Not a fan of the co-op down the road this is the best place to get produce, eggs, meat and just about most things you can think of to fill your fridge and cupboard. The upstairs even has large freezers with ice cream and baked goods, and more meat. The people are very friendly and everything is quite affordable. I am so happy to be able to support my local farmer. They'll soon be starting a delivery service as well!

The meat prices are extremely good especially for being so fresh and local, and the frozen meats are a super bargain! We bought some just-picked seasonal strawberries yesterday and they were amazingly delicious. We still need to get some things at a bigger store like some familiar national/international brands or particular varieties of groceries, but Radmore Farm Shop is definitely our new place to walk for fruit, veg, and meat. It's perfect for those "What are we going to have for dinner" afternoons because I can grab meat, onions, mushrooms, and whatever veg suits and cook something up fast. We are definite fans and plan to shop here routinely while we're in town.

I have to say though i do like the shopping experience there, they are never as busy as it gets in tesco's, so is much easier to shop around and they tend to always have the the things you need on the shelves. I love there clothes range for the children, TU.. especially when they have their sales on, i went down there last summer and got about five outfits for my little girl for around 20 pound in their sale, really good and also they wash gorgeous. I also love going there for the half priced toy sale which they have just before christmas is absolutly great and it really helped me out this year. My husband is a chef and he loves there range of vegtables and fruits and he says they are much fresher than tesco', not sure if this is in fact true, but ill take his word for it. The store is always very clean, and the staff are very helpful, in fact i have to admit they seem to be a lot more friendly and helpful than tesco's but this may be due to the fact that they are a lot quieter, so have the time to provide the customer service they do.
