Asda is a bit like Tesco in most respects. They are both designed in a similar sort of fashion and they both really sel the same stuff which personally i think is unnecessary in a supermarket. I personally would never buy clothing from Asda, although the Games here are apparently very cheap as the new Call of Duty game is like £27.99 on the Xbox 360 which is really impressive. Overall the store has all the food you will need and a delhi but also a pizza place where you can order a custom made pizza where all you have to do them is cook it in the oven. Its a nice service and the pizza aint half bad. The store is overly big so if you want to do a big shop when guests are coming or something its the place to go. However i still rate Sainsburys food better but Asda maybe a touch cheaper. read more

I'm at a loss as to how to describe Asda! Anyone who has been in any asda will know what it's like as they are all the same, aren't they. This one doesn't have a cafe, and has only a relatively small selection of non-food items compared to the bigger one at Fosse Park. The parking is good, and there is undercover parking which is never full for the usual crappy weather. read more

This asda has a small idnependet cafe in the reception area. It doesnt have much of a range of non food items when you consider other large supermarkets such as the asda at fosse park, but what it does have is always well presented I think this is a neat store, and you can get what you want in and out much quicker than some others - for me thats improtnant. It does have a good seperate photo / games section which includes cds / ps and wii games etc etc I had to go to cuistomer service once about an issue and found the lady behind the till really helpful The car park isnt great - I have avoided the indoor one so far, but I find the outdoor one a little cramped with the spaces quite difficult to navigate Car Parking is of course free and the sotre is a few huindred yards form Oadby town centre and a couple of miles from Leicester read more

The trouble with Asda is that whatever you go there for there's always one or two items out of stock. Which is annoying! I have a gluten free diet and Asda do a good cheap(er) range. However the seeded bread is often out of stock and the gorgeous raspberry biscuits the same. This means that I have to go to another supermarket to get what's missing, totally wasting my time. Otherwise an ok cheap supermarket not the best quality but ok for the price. read more

I use asda at fosse park for my main shopping as asda offers great value for money, with different offers to other supermarkets and rollbacks on food that we normally buy. I do find though that parking at weekends can be a nightmare and it is pot luck if you get a space. I have previously used asda at oadby and found the parking much better and some was undercover which was good in bad weather when unloading shooping from trolley to car. read more

This is a large Asda on the main road between Oadby and Leicester. The car park at the front can get very full but there is an add-on multi storey to the right as you face the store. As you enter you can get newspapers and the like from a small till at the right or just plunge in with the shopping. Its got everything - including clothing and household stuff as well as food - lots of food Asda is good for prices I think, although perhaps not quite as nicely laid out as Tesco or sainsburys. good store and always found the staff to be very helpful and polite.
