We picked up the mower and it looked almost brand new even though it is 6 years old. The price was a lot lower than I expected as well. We thought a new mulching blade was needed and mentioned it but they were able to sharpen the blade which was included in the service. Will definitely return for servicing our mower.

Arthur started the business as an automotive electrical service. In the 50's small gas-powered engines came on the scene. Mr. Arthur saw the growing interest and demand in these products and decided to add small engine sales, parts, and service to the business. By the 60's, the small engine parts, service, and equipment side of the business had grown tremendously. The decision was made to drop automotive and go totally small engine/outdoor power. Today, it's owned by the original owner's grandson, who started working fulltime at the business in 1964, and is now the president of the company. I say son "you change the oil and schedule the timing belt to be replaced its a honda if you don't do this the engine will blow" my son "will do it next week" two weeks later timing belt goes engine is shot. call around hard engine to replace several versions nobody will guarantee price. I call Kenny he give me used engine cost and labor I say great!! have car towed to his place. Gave him 1700 Cash up front (was nervous as hell, I don't know him he don't know me not best part of town). We hit several snags a long the way all of which require additional money which I only sent an extra 250 (again I have restored several vehicles so I know the mechanic is always going to ask for additional cash at some point and I have learned to say no and cut my losses and leave it up to the courts if I have to. needless to say no problems with the cash. Kenny stayed in touch returned my calls tried his best to explain the delays and we communicated. Now the biggest issue here was time. It took more than a month to complete this job. I am cutting them a break here because I have talked to several folks who explained that Honda made several different engines for this model Acura and it can be a pain even with the vin to get the right one used which is why folks generally go remanufactured and it ends up costing more. there were some additional cost at the end that I had to pay like alternator and axle replacement but it wasn't to bad so they get a pass on that as well. I would give them 3.5 stars if I could because of the amount of time, but the quality of work they did on the truck has proven to be awesome!! we have driven the truck from Richmond to va beach and back several times no problem Richmond to Baltimore several times no problem. check engine light came on but probably EGR issue. bottom line truck is running good and the mechanics he used did dam good work!! If you have the time dude was trustworthy and got the job done. Kudos to you and your brother!! good work!!

The Richmond team worked directly with the manufacturer to quickly diagnose the problem, obtain the necessary parts, and complete the repair in a timely manner. Because of his attention to detail, the entire repair was completed at no cost to me. The professionalism, communication, and customer service provided by both Harry in the Virginia Beach and Pete in the Richmond branch were outstanding. I took my Ego lawn mower to this place after an experience from another repair company that left me…read morefeeling very uncomfortable. My mower was less than 2 months old but needed to have the self propelled mower replaced as it was defected. The first place on the list that would repair Ego mowers was this other place that had a 30 dollar deposit which would be refunded after the warranty covered the repairs. What made me uncomfortable was the fact that the wait was over a month before they would look at it. Not only that, it would be sitting outside in the elements (or a somewhat covered area still outside). It was the hottest time of the summer and I felt with an electric mower, it wouldn't be good for the components, the fading or whatever would occur in that months time. I didn't like that and called Capital. Capital answered right away and said they could have it seen in less than 2 days and repaired as soon as the parts came in. I was looking at a week vs over a month. Their deposit was 60 dollars however I didn't care about that because I knew it was covered by ego. Everything went very smooth and a week later, my mower was fixed and back to brand new status. It was actually better than new because the motor to the self propelled was defected from the beginning. I got the deposit back with no hassle and was on my way. I was thrilled with the service and for certain would be taking my equipment back here if ever needed. Oh, I did mention to them the other place had my mower outside and he was shocked to hear that especially with an electric one. He took me over to the warehouse that was an actual building and showed me where my mower would be. That was the icing on the cake! I highly recommend this place for your repairs.
